Poor selection in amlost everything that isn't generic tools or accessories. These days More then half the time i end up having to go to Rona or order from Amazon.cause they dont have what im looking for.not to mention their website says things are "in stock" but they rare are or employees cant find it.

But hey! If you need toilet paper they got you covered though, they've got a full aisle of those.what a joke.

Do NOT use online purchase with delivery. I received the wrong item i went to gatineau store to return it client service told me ' returns no longer accepted due to covid' i asked a manager and they gave me a paper copy of cancelled item instead of refund so i had to pay for item I didn't received they sent a box of deck screws instead of a jigsaw. After multiple attempts to reach them by phone i had to return to the store again and finally someone knew how to issue a refund.never buying online again from this store.

Super bon service. On m'a offert de l'aide a plusieurs reprises en m'ayant vu avec ma dizaine de sac de roche. J'ai eu l'occasion de louer une fourgonnette. J'ai vraiment eu un bon service. Ils ont une très très grande variété d'outila en location

If you know what you are going there for and you do not need any assistance, you'll be fine. If you need assistance in any way, good luck. Staff is rude, do not care and do not know either. 3 workers were standing in an aisle when I went their way to ask for help, they all split up and left me hanging. This is a store you kind of have to go to for specific stuff otherwise you wouldn't.

I ordered a Ryobi Pressure washer on line, for pick up at this location. When I came to pick my order, I first went to the department that my Ryobi pressure washer was being display for sale. An employee named Jean Albert greeted me and asked if I needed any help. I told him that I was picking up my order and I was curious if a extension wand was included in the pressure washer kit as I also was getting a surface cleaner along with my pressure washer. He stated he was not certain but went thru the box details with me to check. He also stated that a Ryobi rep was in the store and he could help me order an extension as they were none available in the store. Jean went to find the rep for me. Jean explained that my order was at the service desk and offered to accompany me there. I found Jean extremely helpful, friendly and eager to provide outstanding customer service. In all my years shopping at this location, Jean by far has been the most helpful and friendly employee that I have had the pleasure of being served by. He strives to give the best customer service possible and is indeed an asset to this department.

I get most of my work materials from Home Depot. I work as a contractor you can check my business.
Some staff are very nice and friendly and they like to help, some are really rude.genuinely, Baseline branch is my favourite.

I would also thank Gery one of the best staff there.
So helpful every single time I see him there and he loves to help everyone.

Sometimes, if you buy from Amazon, Canadian Tire.etc the same product could be cheaper.
If you care about how much you spend.

Aujourd'hui je viens de vivre ma pire expérience service à la clientèle, home dépôt gatineau, je commande un article en ligne 20 min je me rend au magasin pour le chercher, surprise l'article n'est pas disponible, la.madame annule ma commande sans mon autorisation sans trouver une solution, lorsque je lui demande de l'aide elle part et me laisse je voulais protester auprès de sa responsable trois autre emplocommence a m'intimide.

J'ai demandé de l'aide dans plusieurs départements. Le seul qui m'a aidé était dans la plomberie. Un petit hic est arrivé parce qu'il a tiré mon panier un peu trop vite pour laisser un autre client passer. Le monsieur ne c'était pas aperçu que j'étais agrippé à mon panier par sécurité et pouvoir marcher avec. Ça donné un coup à mon genou opéré. Il c'est excusé au moins.

It's ok but employees are like ghosts. Can never find one to help you. Make a list of what you need then ask the front desk. Floor employee's cant be bothered with your trivial questions.

We ordered a dishwasher, at the store, in Gatineau. We were told it was in stock and would be delivered 8 days later. We were supposed to receive a call the night before to confirm morning or afternoon. There was no call so we tried multiple times to call the store. We were put on hold, cut off and never had an answer re delivery. The next day, delivery day, we called Canada Cartage who are the delivery contractors for Home Depot. They said that the item was in the warehouse but not out for delivery. We never really got a straight reason as to why. We had removed the old dishwasher and had someone on standby to fit the new one. More calls to Home Depot, more cut off, being put on hold etc. Left a message for the manager to call us- no call back. Eventually after 5 hours of calling and waiting we spoke to the assistant store manager who told us that it is not Home depots responsibility and that they have no control over their delivery contractor. There is a possibility of a delivery a week from now, that is the best that they can do. A wasted day, no dishwasher and pass the blame game from Home Depot. No offer of any compensation for my wasted time or their appalling customer service. That is the last item that we will buy from them. Their customer service used to be excellent. Not anymore!

Worst day and customer experience ever! Today, I was at the store located at Mtee Paiement/Gatineau for a simple shopping, around 1: 20PM. I arrived to the store, located the article, and went to ask an employee, a white young guy named Nicholas, who was working at the section of doors/windows. The guy was busy with an old white couple so I decided to wait close to them. The employee noticed me, but made no comments and ignored me completely, even after I signaled him, turning his head and guiding the old couple away, avoiding eye contact all the time. The old couple even noticed me, but did nothing. After that, I was perplex by his mistreatment and took me some minutes to realized that I have been discriminated. Then, I walked away and going to the exit I noticed that the employee and the old couple were sitting and talking in a stand. I approached the stand and asked for permission to talk, I was completely ignored by the employee and everyone else. I tried two times more and nothing. I approached more and even waiving asked the employee a fourth time saying if I could talk to him. He answered in an angry voice saying that when he finish with the clients, it would be my turn. I told him that he completely ignored me several minutes ago and that the least he could do is to ask another colleague to assist me or even tell me, "I will come back, please wait". He repeated himself even angrier. I told him that I wasn't sure if he had anything against non-white people or similar, but that wasn't a way to talk to any person, especially a client. Even when he answered that he wasn't anything like that, he was being rude and disrespectful, avoiding looking at me at all. I replied saying that being polite it is a minimum requirement from an employee at the store. Wishing him a good day immediately after that, I left the the stand and moved away to the exit. While moving away, I heard the employee cursing me. I exited the store without being able to purchase the right article, empty handed, and frustrated. Worst day and customer experience ever!

Mon épouse et moi avons rencontré deux employés qui ont rendu nos achats plus faciles. Cela faisait plus de 20 ans que nous nous étions rendu pour magasiner chez Home Dépot à Gatineau. Ces employés sont: M. Alain Boily à la quincaillerie et M. Ding (son prénom) au Service à la Clientèle. Grace à ces deux personnes, nous avons acheté pour plus de 1200$ de matériel dont nous avions besoin pour notre projet.
M. Boily nous a aidé à trouver rapidement tous les articles que nous cherchions et qui figuraient sur la circulaire en vigueur.
M. Ding a pris le temps de vérifier nos besoins, de nous expliquer les détails des articles qui nous intéressaient et de faire avec nous une commande en ligne de plus de 1000$.
Il faut que je mentionne qu'avant de rencontrer ces deux personnes, nous allions quitter le magasin puisque les employés à qui nous nous étions adressés ne semblaient intéressés ni à nous servir, ni à nous aider. Nous tenons donc à souligner l'excellent travail et le dévouement de ces deux employés (M. Boily et M. Ding).

À ÉVITER POUR VOTRE CUISINE! J’ai commandé en avril, nous sommes le 18 juin et j’attends toujours mes portes d’armoires et mon comptoir. Ce magasin est un cauchemar.

It was fun ended I found everything I needed to do my patio on the ground level is very covinient as I site amongst the flowers and enjoy my coffee practically every morning thanks for that. Jacques Charlebois.

In typical Home Depot fashion, this place is huge, it has plenty of options for whatever's you may be looking for and something is always on sale. The online product location does not always match the in-store location which can extend your search quite a bit, but that's not something everyone goes through.

It's a big bucks store. Prices are okay.
The real thing missing is enough knowledgeable personnel to help clients with questions, especially in the paints department.
Have had real good help in the electrical and plumbing departments. Pickups for online orders need better organization so they can actually find your order (all of it) in a reasonable amount of time.

DON’T ORDER ONLINE!
I ordered online twice now and days after my order was just cancelled without any explanation! When I went to the store they told me it’s not in stock but when I order things it was in stock. I lost out on other deals because of them and they hold my payment for days!
My last order is still being processed but when I call the store they said well it’s out of stock so just cancel your order! Are they freaking serious? And I am not the only customer with the same issue!
Horrible customer service they don’t care about the customer but take your money right away.

2 pm now 5 h later on the phone still didn’t help me out.

Je vous écris parce que je suis très déçu du service de livraison de Homedepot. Bien que je doive souligner qu'au centre, tout le personnel est très serviable, mais leur service de livraison est horrible. Déjà la troisième fois j'ai dû annuler l'achat et aller acheter le produit chez un autre concurrent. Très bon service dans le magasin qui est assombrie par le service de livraison. A prendre en compte pour qu'ils améliorent le service et ne perdent pas de clients

Purchased a kitchen in Gatineau and I do not recommend this store or Home Depot for your kitchen renos.
The delivery was screwed up and cost me extra man power, when I received my order we noticed in the first two boxes that one was damaged. Later found a refrigerator panel all scratched up with the edge banding coming off. When it was time to install the doors, most are warped or not square. I even have one door that is shorter than all the others by 1/8”
The door hinges are the cheapest hinges on the market. It’s impossible to install the plate and the hinge separately, they are too tight. I will replace them all at my cost obviously.
The replies to emails are not returned so my kitchen is now a mess and waiting to see what will be replaced before I do all the kick plates and tops.
My next move is a visit to the store and I will make some noise.

Les seul qui ont répondu à notre appel téléphonique pour répondre à nos questions. Les autres utilisé un répondeur en boucle.
Nous avons utilisé leur service de location d'outils et de véhicule. Prix abordables, personnel courtois et attentionné.
Stationnement abondant et bien planifié.

J'ai attendu 6.5 mois pour des vittres de portes d'armoirs qui etait censser etre livrer avec la cuisine de ma cliente. Apres 6 mois d'appel, d'attente, fausses espoirs et mauvais items livrer pour une 2em fois j'ai du me deplacer et aller faire poser des vittres. J'ai perdu la confiance de ma cliente et plus de 1 journee au telephone/en attente ou deplacement pour reparer leurs erreurs, comment mettre un prix a ca? Je regrete beaucoup d'avoir fait confiance a ce geant americain.

Bonne expérience en général. Le magasin était propre, mais il est presque impossible de passer dans certaines rangées avec un panier tellement il y a du stock laissé sur des pallettes dans le milieu des allées. Des commis m'ont offert leur aide pour trouver ce dont j'avais besoin et ce fut très apprécié. Aucune attente aux caisses.

Car c’est rapide pour in out et c’est terminé. La sélection de certains produits est inadéquate. Le service après vente des appareils électroménagers est presque nul.

Ramasse a l'auto ne fonctionne pas très bien. Même si vous indiquer être arrivé a l'aide du courriel, vous devez quand même téléphoner pour avoir du service. Et bonne chance avec le téléphone

Lave-vaisselle acheté au magasin. Je demande s'il me faut une pièce additionnelle (tuyau ou boîte de jonction) pour être certain que l'installateur (payé 159$) puisse faire le travail. On me répond que non, tout est beau.
L'installateur se présente quelques jours après la livraison, appel à 7h45 du matin pour une arrivée à 8h15. Heureusement que j'étais à la maison! Première chose qu'il me dit: où est votre boîte de jonction? Tous les Bosch en ont besoin. Je pars donc en acheter sans en trouver. Mon installateur est reparti. Je me retrouve avec un lave-vaisselle non-installé, des frais d'installation payés, et une pièce introuvable.
Impossible de joindre personne au magasin au téléphone, ça finit par raccrocher tout seul. Quand je finis par tomber sur un associé, il me dit qu'il va transmettre le message mais que si personne ne me rappelle il n'y aura rien à faire. On me dit aussi que le vendeur n'est pas électricien et qu'il ne peut pas savoir s'il faut un produit additionnel pour installer le lave-vaisselle. Ce serait donc à moi de passer mon diplôme d'électricien pour compenser l'ignorance des vendeurs?
Vendeurs qui en passant n'ont vraiment pas brillé par leur disponibilité ou leur amabilité lors de ma visite.
On me rappelle finalement pour me dire que non, la boite de jonction n'est pas indispensable. L'installateur dit le contraire. Difficile d'y voir clair. La pièce est cependant commandée, sans frais, mais cela prend donc du temps. Vraiment dommage de ne pas avoir pensé à ça au moment de l'achat, 15 jours plus tôt. À suivre. La note dépendra de l'issue du dossier.

C un bon endroit où tu trouves de tout pour faire de la rénovation chez toi et ils vendent même des réfrigérateurs et congélateurs de tout format. Et le service est bon aussi.

A bit slow on the curb side delivery, their system seems good, but plan at least 20 mins of wait, also 2 of the 4 paint containers were banged up, not opened, but still dented.

Jai commander des fenetres et une porte et eu beaucoup de difficulté avec la livraison, entre autre ma porte qui etait endomagé lors de la livraison. Du au fait qu'il sous-traite la partie livraison personne au magasin se tient responsable des avarie lors de celle çi

Aussi un de leurs employé m'a raccroché la ligne au nez sous pretexte qu'il n'aimais pas mon ton de voix
