The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Pointe Claire

Disappointing experience on the part of management. We were celebrating a special birthday on Friday. We were in the middle of having our starters when the power went out. Few minutes later we were asked to pay full price for our wines and unfinished starters. No olive branch offered. No incentive to come back.

What can I say? It was a big disappointment. We were waiting quite long for our table. When we got our table, we had to wait very long for food. Then, the manager came out to apologize because one of the meals dropped on the floor and they had to redo a new one. By the time we got our food, it was barely the same quality.
My onion soup was flat. It was as if there was no salt in the broth.
Most of us ordered steaks and one ordered salmon. 2 out of 4 steaks were tasteless. The salmon was merely seared.

I have been to this locations many time before and this time was not worth the money.

Sat in the upstairs patio, the atmosphere was great. Food is excellent, and our server was very informed on the menu. Details about taste, cooking style and what pairs with good wine all helped share in the excellent experience of this restaurant. The only downside is that by the end of the night we were attacked by countless mosquitoes. If management could do something about that, our experience would be perfect.

Good food! Steak cook to perfection. Awesome drinks. The service was outstanding, The sever was the friendliness person and really recommended to our wants. He came to check often but not too often. Overall great place

Food was delicious as expected from The Keg, Rib steak cooked to perfection, fries and veggies all gone just right and a wine suggestion to match. The want for an extra star here goes to the Bartender Alex. Very knowledgeable, polite, professional and friendly. A true star. Cheers

Man, the food is crazy! I had the salmon, and it was awesome. Everything on the plate had a unique flavor. The bread at the start is great too. If anything, I'd put a bit more brussels sprouts because imo theyre the thing that goes with the maple butter and there was a lot of maple butter left over at the end, and it was a shame to leave some of that divine stuff uneaten.

In any case, I had to sell my first born son to pay for the meal so that was a shame.

I love eating here. My husband and I went for our anniversary. The waiter was so nice and engaging. We love coming here.

Great atmosphere and staff but, my meal was overcooked. We asked for a properly prepared dinner. Waited 20 minutes and no food. My coworker finished his dinner so we just left. Maybe a one off but did not meet my expectations.

Father-in-laws 95th Birthday Family took him to his favourite restaurant The Keg. The meal he was served was Steak and Lobster both were terrible. He’s eaten at this location often and this is the first time he complained that the food was terrible. So sad.

I always love the food at the Keg. However, I prefer a rustic atmospher rather than a modern and stark.

Came to Montreal for a week for work and visited The Keg. Absolutely fantastic experience and will come back for sure, beach time I am in town.

Overall great experience with amazing service. We had an amazing waitress. At the tartar, which was great, and also had the French onion soup. The last dish wasn't my favorite, but that's probably because I'm used to a less beef-y broth. Spouse had the filet mignon, which was to die for. Would recommend for any type of event.

Pour mon groupe et moi (10 personnes) Louis a été fantastique. Toujours d’appoint et pertinent, il nous as apporté un service chaleureux et personnalisé. Il connaît bien son produit et fait de très bonne suggestion. Si vous allez au Keg de Pointe-Claire, demander pour lui, vous ne serez jamais déçu.

First the sour bread with the garlic butter terrible. Being going as a kid to the Keg and the whip butter so much better than what they brought to the table. We booked the reservation 4: 30 and was told to be out by 7 which I agreed. The service was extremely slow which never happened before. The service which we have many times before people went up and behind the to make sure we experienced to be excellent. Very disappointed for the experience my guest and I had tonight.

Souper d'équipe des ventes mazda 220, wow 5 partout. Super service filet mignon et homard. Incroyablement bon.
