The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Oakville

We had an anniversary dinner at this location tonight and enjoyed every moment. Our server “KiKi was a delight and very efficient. She really made us smile. Thank you for contributing to a great evening.

Everyone loves the Keg especially me.
I Always get gift cards. I’ve dined here so many times I’ve lost count. Love the steak and Lobster. My family and I have always had a good experience. Sometimes they are super busy but that’s what happens when you have great food and a friendly easy going environment at a good price.

Been coming to the keg for 10 years now and have always loved their food. Tonight, the service was awful. I asked for my steak medium well and it was cooked rare. It also came with the mashed potatoes cold and missing the sauce that typically comes with it. Very disappointing with Oakville’s location.

Best rib steak I've tried so far. They were very helpful in setting reservations and got us seated quickly. Server was very attentive and the vibe was nice

Just took my mom out for dinner there and everything was fantastic. The staff are very friendly, warm, and inviting. Rob was my server tonight and I couldn’t have asked for better service. My favourite part was the tuna tartare. Thanks for the wonderful evening

HORRIBLE experience and would not recommend this location to anyone!

I have been to previous Kegs and have never received cold food in the past or horrible customer service like I did today.

Christina their manager was very rude in dealing with our inquiry. She said well we make mistakes and wasn’t apologetic for our experience. Not sure what kind of manager comes out with that kind of attitude.

I am beyond disappointed that we waited over half an hour for our bread to be served then on top of that our plates came out cold. I wish I took a picture of the plate since my steak did not even look like an 8OZ steak and the veggies were two yellow peppers and cut up asparagus.

Wouldn’t recommend and I would hire a new manager!

Samuel gave my friend and I the best experience we have had at a restaurant in years. He attended to us sometimes before we even asked for things. Total mind reader, absolute charm, incredibly professional person. I couldn’t be happier with the service and food

Soggy We did get a replacement that was better I guess it's better not to order lobster when it's not in season Overall we were satisfied Great ambiance

Had a lovely time here celebrating my mum's birthday (about 2 weeks ago). This time our server was Dan & though he seemed quite busy, service was still good. The visit before (3 months ago), my mum had an issue with her steak. The manager, Matt came right over to determine what the issue was & found a solution in no time! The server then was also great (i believe her name was Chantal?) Keep up the excellence guys! We'll be coming back again. God willing!

I like the Keg but this location is not very well maintained. Poor service. Waited 30min in the patio to go inside and beg someone to take our drinks order. Patio and the surround are dull with no proper lighting. Can easily be transformed to a vibrant place in oakville with proper management.

Dined in today. Our first time at the Oakville location. Staff were wonderful and the food was amazing. All four of us enjoyed meals which were cooked to perfection.

I love this place and have been going here for years. However, the food is not what it used to be. Understandably with everything going on but still. I look forward to it returning to how it used to be!

This was my first time to try The Keg, and the bartender "Mercedes" made this experience a memorable one! The recommendations of food, beverages and dessert all made my special occasion a day to remember.
The food was FANTASTIC, cooked to perfection, full of flavour and very generous portions as well.
I highly recommend The Keg oakville, and a special shout out to Mercedes if you ever sit at the bar:)

I literally love going to the Keg. We try to go at least once per month either me snd the family or me and the girls.
We went to Oakville Keg last night and reserved the patio.
Service was excellent although it was sooo cold it is not heated enough. We had our coats on and were shaking. The heaters were so high up they were not even positioned above each table, some were not working. When the food came out ot was obviously cold.
Waiter wss excellent but wont go back to that keg in oakville

Great service and they have actually put some thought into the vegetarian menu so that everyone in our group was happy, from the steak lovers to the vegans/vegetarians. Thank you!
I hope more restaurants follow suit, going above the basic veg pasta/burger options.

This is the first time I have ever done takeout. The food was ready when I got there and the filet mignon we ordered were Cooked to perfection.and all the other items were perfect. I will definitely come here for take out again. Thank you for making my wife's bday perfect.

I ordered the Father's Day special and went to pick up my order. I noticed it was very busy and so I got my food a bit late from the pickup time selected. However, when I got home, I discovered I was missing an item. I called and they actually delivered the item to my house within 20 min. I was not expecting that and I actually appreciated the effort they took to do that. Also, my dad enjoyed the food!

Menu is small and very simple, barely any appetizers main courses are generic also the bartender made the drinks way to strong for the size

We had a fantastic time with prompt, great service, hot delicious meals. It was a special celebration of everything we missed in the past year, and the restaurant and it's staff certainly helped to make it unforgettable. It was sad to see so many tables closed off due to Covid19.hopefully we will experience the same high level of service even when they open back to 100% capacity.

They currently have a smaller menu than normal because of Covid but I still had a fantastic experience here. I ordered the fillet mignon steak and it was cooked perfectly. If you're looking for a steak, The Keg is usually a good bet.

I have to say I had one the best experiences tonight ordering pick up from the Keg. It was my mom’s birthday and we ordered our food along with a billy miner pie to celebrate. To our surprise the pie was not in the bag when we brought it back home.

A little disappointed I called and let them know we had not received it and that it was her birthday.

Without hesitation the man working (wish I got his name) said he would bring it to our home asap along with a second pie! I was so shocked and said that was too much and I would come and get it.
But he insisted and said it would be at our house as we finished dinner in 10 mins, (keep in mind they are not doing delivery and he was not a delivery man). Anyways I thought it was the kindest thing and truly amazing customer service. 10/10 great people and would recommend.

The Keg is one of my favourite restaurant’s, and yesterday was my first time visiting the Oakville location with my fiancé. Our waiter, V, was AWESOME! He made the experience so much better by talking with us.

The food was quick, and extremely delicious!

The Keg is for sure a legendary steakhouse. If I had one place to invite my father to eat, it would sure be this place

The pistachio salmon is amaizing! (they made it for me even tho it wasn't on the menu for lunch time)
The waiter was great too.

Bel accueil, bonne ambiance, filet mignon excellent, seul petit bémol les frites ne sont pas à la hauteur.

My drink had too much salt but the server was happy to fix it. The staff is very helpful with suggestions and friendly. Good steak.

Only one word describes my experience: Fabulous. Special attention to allergies & incredible food. A must when you visit Montreal.

Get everything expected out of a Keg, but the service is a little slow, and the quality of the food is slightly inconsistent. The prime rib I had last time was over cooked.

Two years ago I had a very bad experience both with the food and the service and didn't want to come back ever again to The Keg.
Recently we got as a present a gift card and came back to use it.
Today was totally different. We got a table right away without any delays. The service was very good. The waitress came to our table several times to find out how we were doing. The food was great.
Will come back again.

Price is indeed expensive. But the service is on point. Very dedicated waitress and waiter. Didn’t expect a cake for my wife’s bday but we still got one. We were unprepared tho haha. And the fundraising for a cause; very nice way to help a cause.

Mediocre food, weak wine list, totally American vibe, robot servers in it for their tips. Be a bit adventurous and find something further afield that’s more original.

I am no connoisseur, but The Keg made the best filet mignon I've had in my life up until now. The baked Brie wass incredible, and the service wass excellent and super chill. Go here!

Amazing restaurant, pleasant staff, food was delicious. I had the ribsteak medium rare and it blew me away! Loved the potatoes, and had a great selection of wine as well.

Wasn't expecting anything great since it is a chain but was truly suprised at the level of service from the staff and most importantly the quality of the cook on the steaks. Great meal overall and great service
