Immediately after placing my order, I noticed there was an error in the delivery address. I have emailed and phoned them multiple times with no response-however they were quick to process the charge! It seems to be very unethical company and I highly recommend that you do not use them. Very disappointing, to say the least

The worst delivery company ever. I don't even know how these guys are still in business. I ordered something and paid extra to get it delivered on a specific day. Not only did they not deliver my item but they tell me they couldn't find the address. Really? It's been like 2 weeks over and they still haven't delivered the item I ordered. These guys should have gone out of business long time ago. I am not sure how they are still alive.

Recipient was delighted with the gift. Arrived on time and I received a phone call to make sure the message was correct as I had a problem when ordering and sent an email describing my issue. Was resolved on the phone by a very friendly associate.

This is the 3rd year in a row that we have ordered a basket, from Sweet Basket, for our grandchildren at Easter. It was easy to select the basket that we wanted to purchase and the checkout process was also straight forward. We did have some issues with the shipping policy which is why only 4 stars.

After putting in an order only a few mins later they called to let me know that it would take a long time for my order to arrive and on the message asked if I wanted to continue this order. I called right back to say no not to continue. This all happened within 20mins of placing order.
Then I get a message saying that I will be charged 20% for cancelling my order! The one they called to ask if I wanted to continue! They said it was because the order had already been processed and made so I must be charged according to their policy!
Unbelievable! Spoke to person there and told them that there was no way my order was processed or made in that 20mins! They still charged me 20% on the order. Crooks. Never ever order from them!

The Sweet Basket staff and their driver Dennis (?) in particular do a great service cheerfully delivering baskets of various goodies to our grand daughter attending university in Montreal. They are now our "goodies from home" delivery service.
They are on our contact list for gifts that must be delivered outside our local area.

Just appalling service. I ordered a gift basket on 3rd December to be delivered on 14th December. It never arrived. I have followed up with endless emails and each time I receive an automatic reply saying somebody would get back to me within 24 hours, but nothing. I have left at least four or five telephone messages and no reply to any of them.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

The only reason they get 1 star is because of the service they provided BACK IN 2020. We decided to order again in 2021 and, needless to say, were completely frustrated and disappointed.

This year we ordered 2 baskets from Sweet Basket to be delivered by the 23rd of December. On the 4th of December we ordered one fruit basket to go to Alberta and then on the 7th, we ordered a general chocolate basket to go to Nova Scotia. On the 6th, Sweet Basket emailed us saying that we would need to pay an extra charge for express shipping on the fruit basket since they can't guarantee the quality of the fruit otherwise. THERE WAS NO MENTION OF THIS ANYWHERE ON THEIR WEBSITE. NOT EVEN AT THE CHECKOUT. We told them that this wasn't acceptable and asked what else we could do. They told us we can switch to any other kind of basket of equal value. On the 9th, they emailed us again this time to tell us that there would be an additional charge to deliver the chocolate basket to Nova Scotia due to it being a remote location. We replied telling them to go ahead with the chocolate basket delivery. Sweet Basket called my wife on the 10th to ask if we wanted to substitute the chocolate basket (meant to go to N. S.) for the fruit basket (going to Alberta). My wife had to clarify that the lady was confused and that we placed two separate orders and asked that the lady confirm that it is the case on their end. The lady rudely told her that it "isn't her job to look into that" and that she "was only told to ask this one question. "

After this call WE HEARD NOTHING FROM SWEET BASKET UNTIL THE 3RD OF JANURARY! The basket that was meant to be delivered to Nova Scotia arrived on time, however there was no word on the basket going to Alberta. So during that period my wife and I called and emailed numerous times to find out if the basket was even sent. On the 3rd, Sweet Basket finally replied to one of our emails, saying that they did apply the change in basket and that they'll check on the shipping status. IMMEDIATELY, we responded demanding that the basket be sent via express shipping and that we are given a full refund. As expected, there was no response to our email, and on the 4th we received a text from FedEx stating that our basket was picked up from Sweet Basket.

Yesterday (January 8th), Sweet Basket finally responds to our email saying that the order was sent via express overnight and that they could only offer us a gift certificate as they are unable to process refunds on orders already shipped out. We replied immediately stating that we asked for the refund before the basket was even shipped out, on top of the fact that throughout this whole ordeal not a single customer service representative had acknowledged any of the frustration from our end or took any kind of accountability. Shockingly, we received a response right away recommending us to dispute the charge with our bank.

All of these issues could have been solved with better communication with customers on Sweet Baskets end. There is no excuse for ignoring customers' concerns for weeks on end. Absolutely abysmal!

This company is not worth the headache. Extremely unprofessional. The worst company I had to deal with. The positive reviews are fake, go on their facebook page to get more accurate reviews. Everyone faces the same problem with them - late delivery, no contact about their package, unable to get their money back, etc.

Ordered a gift basket on December 15,2021and paid an additional fee for faster delivery. Today is Dec 29,2021, and It has never been sent out. I have called and emailed them many times. The lady from customer service promised to send out the basket a week ago. I even have no idea how to request a refund as they never respond. I am going to ask my credit card company to deal with my refund. I would never recommend using this company. Such a disappointment!

I placed my order on Dec 15th. I've sent multiple emails, made phone calls, left messages. I was told I'd have a tracking by later that day from their "US affiliate who they said was in California. I have heard nothing since before Christmas as to the status of my order. I left a message this week and of course no one has gotten back to me. I will be contacting our credit card company next. Don't use these folks. They do not deserve a single star rating but you have to pick one in order to post your review!

Ordered a gift basket at the beginning of December with the hopes that it would arrive before Christmas. No update regarding any delays until I inquired about it. A general email was sent back saying there are supply issues and labour shortages and they will do their best to send the basket before Christmas. It is now a new year and no update or basket. I requested a refund. Hoping it will be addressed without any issues. I don't understand how a business can be run like this. This is their peak time and they were obviously not prepared. Very disappointed.

Beautiful baskets and great service! My friend loved his chocolate goodies. BUT when it comes to the wine baskets, they bury the lead. It does NOT contain alcohol, which wasn't evident on the item listing, and my only reason for giving this 3 stars. The company should make this clear.

I wanted to share my experience that I recently had with this company. I had planned on picking up baskets for my entire staff and distributing them out on Dec 17th. I intentionally left this to the morning of the 17th to coincide with our Holiday party later that evening. My plan was to pick up some baskets at another company that I had dealt with in the past. When I arrived they had sold out of all there baskets and could not help me. I scrambled and found The Sweet Basket in DDO. I pulled up and found their showroom which was closed due to Covid 19 restrictions/protocol. STRESS BUILDING! I then called the number on the showroom door and spoke to a lovely girl by the name of Catherine (i believe). I told her I needed 10 baskets HECKOFARUSH and she told me she would come to see me at the door and show me what they had available. The Sweet Basket literally saved Christmas! I cannot say enough about the service I received! Please call them/Go and see them for your next delicious Emergency! Special shout out to Catherine (i believe) - Incredible Service that I wont soon forget!

I called customer service and they are offering a small credit toward future order - very unprofessional and I can’t believe this business operates this way. Do yourself a favour and stay away!

I buyed the basket for my sister in Canada, I currently live in Brazil, it was delivered 2 days after I bought it and that was great! It was very well packaged, full of delicious snacks, with a beautiful and colorful ribbon, with a card with the words I wrote printed for her. I really liked this company because I was very impressed with the quality of the work. I'll buy again for sure!

The Sweet Basket is a wonderful option for sending thoughtful gift baskets. I have made two purchases on behalf of my company for colleagues who have had new additions to the family. They were incredibly impressed. In addition, the shipping time even with the cheaper option got to the recipients very quickly which was great! I am very happy with my recent purchasing experience from The Sweet Basket Company. I ordered a basket for my mom's birthday. Shortly after I ordered, the company called to check if I wanted to add a personal note because I had forgotten to add one. I selected regular shipping and the basket arrived in one day! Lots of Canadian made items and good quality. My mom was thrilled with the basket. Overall great customer service and a positive ordering experience.

We experienced an issue with paypal billing and no order created within their system. They were quick to respond to email and made sure the basket we ordered (last minute) would arrive prior to Mothers day. The billing issue was corrected within about 7 days.

The basket arrived and my Mother-In-Law was thrilled. The presentation was exactly as advertised and the products were top notch.

Update: Just wanted to let you know that the owner of the business followed up with my wife and follow through on the refund. Thank you. Although not initially happy we both appreciate businesses that follow through and resolve issues even if they missed the boat in the first place.
My wife's Easter basket was not delivered, as expected due to COVID19. This is not the issue. The issue is we are still waiting for our refund. It's been almost 3-months that this company has not refunded over $250. We've spoken twice to the company each time we've been promised the refund. Very poor customer service and follow through.

The real 5 star service is the customer service. A distributor messed up the order and sent us the wrong chocolate - got in touch and the right order was sitting on the doorstep by the end of the week! And the chocolate was amazing too!

It went to her parents first who were in awe of the goodies and then transported to Montreal to their daughter. I ordered a gift basket for mother's day one week before mother's day paid for 2-5 day shipping 3 days later they call me and tell me they don't even have the item I ordered in yet, the customer service representative I spoke to said she would talk to her manager and get it expedited for the inconvenience, that was the last conversation I had with them. A couple days later now 1 day away from mother's day I get an email saying it has been shipped and will arrive Friday. Over one week late from when i ordered. And I even paid for fast shipping, terrible customer service experience I would not recommend. My mother has yet to receive her gift.

We have been using the Sweet Basket for many years during Christmas, Josie is very helpful as well as the other staff that answered the phone when we called.
Our deliveries where shipped on time and were a big hit with our customers.
They have a wide selection of baskets to choose form to fit any budget, the packaging is very sustainable as no items where damage in the process.
We are also able to track all of our shipments via the FedEx website and we received emails every time a package was delivered to our many customers which made the whole process very smooth.
Needless to say we would highly recommend them.

I have been working with The Sweet Basket for my end-of-year client gifts for the last 3 years. They have been great and have a nice selection of gift baskets (I usually send chocolate assortments) that can be shipped both within Canada and to the USA. This makes it easy to work with one company who can ship to all of my North American key clients. Service has generally been very good, although I have had to ask for an invoice a few times, after not receiving one on my 2019 order. The staff at The Sweet Basket, especially Josie have been terrific and I recommend them highly for corporate or other gift occasions.

The only negative I would have to add is that one of the Holiday part-time staffers was not helpful and really made for a bad experience until I reached out to someone who is always working there and she fixed all of the issues to chance it into a positive experience.
