The Windsor Ballrooms

What a venue, it's majestic. The event team is really kind and helpful and the chef is a star himself. Our organization rented the place for our annual gala and it did not dispoint us.

Nous avons loué le salon Crystal pour notre évènement corporatif de 80 personnes. Magnifique salle! Les hauts plafonds, les moulures, les murs et planchers noirs rendent le tout chic et moderne. Vestiaire et toilettes accessibles directement dans la salle.

La prise en charge de l'événement par les coordonnatrices du Windsor s'est bien déroulé, du début à la fin du processus.

Le personnel à été très efficace tout au long de la soirée. Nous avons apprécié la quantité de personnel présent pour nous (vestiaire, bar, service aux tables, sécurité, coordonnatrice). La seule chose est le prix dispendieux des consommations.

We were here for the 2022 St. Andrew's Society St. Andrew's Day Ball, and had a great time.

The ballrooms are well decorated, and in the main room, there was enough room to move around despite there being so many tables.

The room we used for the presentation of the Debutantes, Scottish Country dancing, and couples/group photos was definitely a versatile space, and had a good mix of seating and standing areas.

Coat check and washrooms were on the lower level, and there was at least one venue staff member at the front desk throughout the whole event.

The place is nice and it's The Windsor, but their in-house bar for an event short pours and over charges. A high end place like that should serve real tequila too.they don't.

Attended an official dinner hosted by SAARC countries. Had amazing experience having wonderful dinner at the magnificent Windsor ballrooms. It was really great facilitation and catering by the courteous staff.

Very beautiful place, except food. I went to a university graduation ball, and the food was beyond horrible. Chicken tasted like cardboard and dryer than the Shara desert, entree was decent but couldn't feed a medium sized dog, and desert was good, most likely because they didnt make it themselves. The staff was generous, except this one blonde lady who kept giving me dirty faces for moving the placement of my cutlery. I give 3 stars only becasue it looks very chique.

Endroit remarquable pour des événements. La décoration est très chic et les salles sont spacieuse.

Nous avons organiser une réception de 120 personnes. Pour cette salle cela a été très bien. Peut être une amélioration des speakers serait à voir.

If you are looking for a unique and fabulous experience for an event in Montreal, the Windsor Ballrooms is a perfect venue! We host our annual gala and all of our guests have had a magical experience: the beauty of the venue, the quality of the services and the food. We love the all-inclusive concept: the venue has everything on site and made it very easy for us. A big thank you to Leilani, the event coordinator, who made us feel like stars and enjoy our evening. We look forward to coming back for more events!

Wonderful place for reception and parties in downtown Montreal. Ellegant, historic, good service, great food. Convinient parking garages near by. Organized an event pre-pandemic here. Prices were high and surprises in the bill. Unfortunately cannot recommend this place for hosting an event.

Le Windsor is such a beautiful place to host your wedding. Inside and outside are beautiful. The food is average as you can’t expect a high quality when the chef is cooking for 200 people and plus so it is fine. The event coordinator is amazing, everyone was perfect except that one. Ruben Benitah, Windsor Ballrooms' maitre d'hotel because he ruined the last 30 minutes of my wedding for me and my guests. I can't believe that he disrespected my guests when they were at the bar. When I realized, I went to the bar and he refused to serve me alcohol because he has to move away the bottles as the evening ends. Excuse me, I still have 30 minutes in my alcohol tab. How can you also be so rude to the bride? Wedding is the core of your business! I would say that every member that we met at Le Windor was perfect, this one employee is an exception and I don't know why he is still working there. Le Windsor has such a high reputation in my heart and to my guests but this detail at the end of the day simply ruined the image. It is just sad that this last impression is what my guests and I have as memories.even until now the guests remember him.

Superbe architecture comme on en trouve plus beaucoup. Vraiment chic, la classe! Si vous avez 250 000$ à dépenser pour un mariage ou autre événement, l'endroit est à considérer

Nice hotel with plenty of character. Sound system in Hall is seriously lacking making everything sound muddy and making presentations very hard to understand during conferences.

Good service from staff, food is alright.

Belles salles. Très difficile d’accès parce que Montréal bloque les rues à l’improviste. Stationnez beaucoup plus loin et marchez pour ne pas être en retard.

We attended a Nuit en Blanc here, and while the decor strikes a charming note, the tall ceilings and bouncy walls force the sound to ricochet and thus created an echoey and loud ambiance that made the whole evening more difficult in terms of communication- especially when music played. Otherwise, beautiful venue.

Impressive hall when the lighting is set in the evening. Acoustics needs some adaptions to reach the next rating.

Small place, not what you expect at all. Why is it called the ball room, I have no idea. A fancy place like this has one of the worst washroom. Most of the things dont work. On the upside, the wifi is very good. I would prefer other venues over this one.

I have experienced several wonderful events in this ballroom space, each one better than the next! It's situated right in the heart of downtown Montreal, has an absolutely stunning decor, with very professional & service-oriented staff, while offering pricing which is in-line with other halls of this caliber. If inquiring about rental of this space, I highly recommend you speak with Miss Isabelle Rochon, as you are sure to get the "VIP" treatment. She's dedicated, and goes the "extra mile", all with a friendly smile.

Super endroit chic pour organiser une fête. Le format de la salle est bien et les installations efficaces. Un bel endroit pour avoir du plaisir.

Lors d'un party de Noel, les employés au bar volaient l'argent des gens de toute sorte de façon. Pour savoir au final que la boss au bar était aussi impliquée. Elles chargeaient le double du prix à certaint qui etaient plus réchauffés et ne remettaient constamment pas le bon change en jouant les innocents à chaque fois. Nous avons été plusieurs à faire ded plaintes.

Beau décore mais très movaise organisation. Portion des assiettes très maigre. Pauvre selection de boisson. Je n'est pas du tous apprécié qu'il enlève la table pour libérer de l'espace sur la piste de danse quand il y avait 5 bouteilles de vin avec bourse et toute. Il sont même partie avec mon vers de vin plein et un verre de champagne qu'on venait de me donner. Il aurait dû attendre que tous le monde soie à la table avant de débarrasser. Pas du tous impressionnés.

En tout cas j'espère qu'il y aura pas juste Gilles Duceppe pour vous pointer du doigt aujourd'hui en ouvrant les portes a de "l'argent sale"! Je suis sûr que vous comprenez bien.

I had my Company’s Christmas party here. It was a very nice venue. One side had seats the other was a dance floor

J'ai été écoeuré par les événements d'hier aux nouvelles à la télé, partout, où un mariage des Hell's a pris la vedette via votre salle de réception. Comme autrefois, Ginette Reno et Jean-Pierre Ferland quand ils ont chantés pour de l'argent sale pour un évènement similaire, WOW ils sont gentils ces pauvres petits criminels, vraiment je suis dégoûté moi et mon mari de voir que la corruption l'emporte sur tout!
