It’s smaller than the pictures they show.food is good but nothing really special about it.you can have the same plates somewhere else for cheaper.drinks good, service good nothing special about anything

My friends and I chose this restaurant to celebrate our friends birthday. We were around 17 people. When first making the reservation nobody had even called to ask to confirm the reservation of 17 people. Upon arrival at the restaurant, the hostess was not letting us sit as she said we can only be seated when all 17 people arrived. After continuous back and forth with the hostess she final allowed us to be seated.

However, we then realized that they had booked two separate tables of 10. When asked to put the two tables together they said they could not accomadate. On the initial booking nobody had informed us that it would be two separate tables. This led to a whole rearrangement of the tables which took about an extra 30 minutes.

We then ordered wine. Long story short, the waiter did not pour a single glass with wine. He just put the bottle on the table and left. (Gives you a small idea of the service.)

Lastly, the bill. Every single bill was basically split by 20 people. However, we all realized that each person was paying a different amount for the wines. Despite us splitting the bill evenly.

Overall, terrible service. Food is average but you can for sure get better elsewhere. Save your money and time. Don’t come here.

Great discover lately ive been to this place with some friends its really nice place deco and environnement well designed and surprising quality of food very nice also great service really like my night there will be back for sure!

Delightful and delicious restaurant. Real wood-fired Neapolitan pizza and refreshing cocktails. Wonderful staff too, and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. Will return.

As an avid foodie I wanted to try Montreals newest Italian resto.
I ordered a pasta dish and a pizza.
Pasta was decent. Good flavour, but for $25 it was more plate than pasta. I’m a small girl so if I was left hungry just imagine how small the serving was.
So I ordered a pizza hoping to be full … but I was only full of disappointment. I can tell they use good quality ingredients and they have a good oven, but it was poorly executed, my dough was undercooked and gluey …. But the worst part is the restaurant itself. Bad location, full of homeless people by the window… not quite the romantic atmosphere we were hoping for our date night. So needless to say, with so many other choices for Italian food in the city I won’t be returning here.

I made a reservation a month in advance for 10 people online at Tiamo. I called two days before the reservation date to add two people and they were kind enough to accommodate me. Anyhow, we arrived at a table that only seated 8 people (a booth with four tables and four chairs) plus one other table for two that was behind everyone else, so from the start the reservation was not handled properly, keep in mind that I initially reserved for 10 people. Our server, who was super nice, even had to take another table to be able to sit all 12 people. He didn’t want the evening to be awkward for us so he told us to move the tables around so we could all sit together. The two managers, a blonde girl and a red haired woman, were incredibly rude to us and confrontational. The blonde girl even reproached us that it’s not their fault if I called to add two people to the reservation, while i understand that, the table was still not big enough for 10 people and when we told her that she was like “well I sit 10 people every night but ok. ” Anyway, the employees were super great and nice, but the management was horrible we waited so long for everything, the food was alright and the two managers were as I said really rude.

We chose Tiamo restaurant in Montreal to celebrate a friend's birthday. A reservation was carefully made two weeks in advance for a party of 10. However, upon arrival, we were seated on the second floor in a corner with a table that could only accommodate 8 people, despite our confirmed reservation. We informed our server, who was understanding and asked how we'd like to rearrange the tables. As we began to do so, two managers approached us in a very agitated manner, displaying a lack of respect.

Our server managed to calm the situation and assured us that everything would be sorted. However, the initial attitude of the managers had already marred a part of our experience. Furthermore, it took a considerable amount of time for our food to be served, adding to our frustration. The quality of the food was decent but didn't justify the high price and the extended wait.

We arrived at 8: 30 PM and left the restaurant close to midnight, an unexpectedly long duration for a meal. Overall, our experience at Tiamo restaurant was tainted by disappointing hospitality and extensive wait times, even though the food quality was acceptable.

We booked this place as there were good reviews. The food was really nice but the service was mediocre. The place was too noisy and the space was too tight. I don’t really understand why they would put tables too close with other ones. We asked our server to change our table but they told us all tables were booked already. However there were empty tables until we finished eating. It also took so long for them to bring our bills. Overall the food is good but other than that I would give a 3 star!

Positive: beautiful place, great drinks, busboys were attentive - glass of water always full.
Negative: food was nothing special and not worth the money. Did not have anything I would go back for.

Belle ambiance, la nourriture est bonne. On nous avertit au départ que nous avons la table pour 2 heures. On était en réunion d'affaires je me suis sentie un peu rushées à partir mon seul bémol.

Restaurant coup de cœur: la nourriture, le vin, les desserts, le service, les belles toilettes… tout y est! Mon seul bémol c’est que c’est trop bruyant. Je n’irais pas pour un date, mais pour une sortie entre copines, c’est parfait!

Beautiful restaurant! The atmosphere and ambience is wonderful. As well, the food and service is top tier. We absolutely loved the grilled octopus, cinque formaggi and prosciutto pizza. As well, the desserts and drinks were amazing too. Side note: the pizzas are large in size and perfect for sharing. We ordered too much and they gave us a cute pizza box to go. It was great even the next day though so definitely worth it Can’t wait to go back

Everything was absolutely wonderful about Tiamo! The food was delicious (mouthwatering!), the service exceptional, the atmosphere so welcoming, the pricing very reasonable! This restaurant deserves 5 + stars!

Joli décor et super chouette de s’assoir devant la cuisine… seul bémol, la polenta et le saumon étaient beaucoup trop salée dommage

Instead of gaspacho as per the menu (cold soup) they brought warm tomato soup. The woman at the entry refused to give a seat while her colleague found it, the 1st one just didn't bother looking the schedule in detail

My friend and I had the perfect night out at Tiamo. We were lucky enough to come without a reservation and get a table. The service was awesome, bartender and general manager were extremely friendly. We had some annoying dietary restrictions and they were very accommodating.

I had heard of this place through my friend on TikTok and sometimes while these places are cute the food isn’t the best. Everything I tried was amazing from the fettuccini to the meatballs as an appetizer my friend tried. We got passion fruit and tequila drinks as well.

Nice place. Small. Very focused menu. Good service. We had burrata and octopus appetizers, with our own choice of pizza (Burrata and Napoletana). Not as good pizza as Keste or Sofia (Rosemere). Nice to change it up sometimes. Won't repeat.

We went to dinner here based on reviews we had read. We liked the vibe and decor although it was a bit loud in there maybe due to low ceilings. There is an upstairs section with more tables compared to the main level part. The pizza was ok but not great. The Margharita. Very little flavour actually. We were disappointed. Asked for some hot chili oil which had a strange flavour - watered down maybe? Salad was simple. Veal meatballs and sauce lacked flavour too. The server had no problem serving us in English. Thanks for that.

Best food and best service in Montreal specially Santiago was the man of the night, hands down best Chef I highly recommended this place
