Great spot for decent priced groceries in Shawville. Has plenty of stock of all kinds of stuff.

Be careful. Their labelled prices are often different than the price you pay at the counter. And they don't adjust the price at the counter even after you inform them. Which is illegal.

Just Stopped In Quickky Because Of Some Of The Deals That Were Going On. The Cigarettes In Quebec Are Cheaper Than In Ontario

Friendly staff, clean store, lots of selection, but needs more selection for children and plus sized.

One of the best and well stocked Giant Tigers is Western Quebec, well worth the drive to go shop

I found the girl working the 2nd cash from the front rude. Not sure if it was because i spoke English. I sure hope not. First time i have experienced this at this store

They have a great selection of much of your needs & wants! & Don't hesitate to ask a question if you need anything, there's usually around and ready to help

Some good staff and some not so good but overall a decent place for household goods and items.selection is limited and the quality of some items is terrible. It's an average store but choices are limited in the area

The teenage staff here are not trained in customer service. They haven't been told to be courteous and polite to customers. Therefore, they are not. They are teenagers. It is a requirement of the mature, senior staff to actually 'train', i.e. Tell/show/teach, the young staff how to do customer service - not just which buttons to press on the cash register. Providing customer services means you say Hello/Bonjour, then Thank You/Merci, or Have a Nice Day. It means you treat the customer like they matter. It doesn't mean bellowing at people, sullenly and carelessly throwing their stuff in bags, or expecting the customer to treat you like a princess. The senior staff are doing the teens a disservice when they neglect to teach them, and neglect to make the expectation clear, that they behave like well-mannered employees. If the expectation isn't made clear, they will just act like sulky teenagers. The good people of the community deserve better service.

Grocery section is always an adventure! I love finding unique food items to try out!
Their prices are very reasonable, especially on their cartons of cigarettes!
We always stop at the Tigre Geant on our way to our cottage to stock up on supplies and food!

I always support Giant Tiger as they are Canadian owned. Shawville's GT is a great one considering its in such a small town! Grocery section is great.
