All the food stalls here are top notch. You can't go wrong. I had the grilled salmon with quinoa at American BBQ and it was heavenly

Atmosphere is great! A little expensive but it makes sense since it is in the eaton center. The matcha latte was not sweet which is how I prefer it.

We went for lunch and chose Chicken Tandori from the Indian Place and Beef Shawarma with Hummus from the Lebanese restaurant. Both were delicious, but it's very loud, crowded and people there. We found a place to sit without difficulty and cleaners clear the communal tables very quickly. Lots of choices and amazing variety of food!

Always great! Good place to visit with people when you can’t settle on any specific restaurant or style of food.

Don't go here if you can't speak French.all the "scan to view menu in English" things are still in French, and some of them download files directly to your phone when scanned.

C'est correct pour aller seul, car pour manger en groupe chaque personne va manger à des moments différents.

Great selection of food, but the graphic design and branding direction of Time Out Markets are a usability disaster. Everything looks the same and you awkwardly need to approach each stands to get their vibes and see their offerings.

I was really looking forward to a flavourful experience and got the opposite. The ceviche was bland as were the plantains.

Food presentation: nice, generous for the $8 worth of one piece of ribs and some potato fries
Service: it was okay. Understaffed, the cook did touch different foods with her hands: held the ribs, then held the fries and the chicken as well
Seated? It's a fancy food court and there's lots of space, you can even sit at the bar area if you want to (no kids allowed)
Venue decor: each fast food at the fancy food court is aesthetically the same to make a neat environment

I must have come in on a bad day because this is unacceptable really. I ordered the jambalaya that is supposed to include sausage and mushrooms and didn’t get either. The amount of meat on the seafood, especially the mussels, does not justify the price either; there’s barely any meat! Embarrassing, there’s no other way to describe it and I hope they do better next time.

Edit: forgot to mention that the rice was too salty.

Went there before the pandemic, saw the owner watching over everyone, went up to him and had to congratulate him, food was spectacular think I had the rice, ribs, accra. Went back few weeks ago after everything had opened up fully, had issues with my passport took me 30 mins to sort it, finally went up to eat. Decided not to eat there for lack of effort on following protocols which I will not mention as all restos have suffered from this pandemic, dont want to be creating headaches for owner, only advice is keep an eye on your business, make sure your employees use their brains and follow pandemic protocols. Went to check mex joint, same deal protocols not being followed. Hit the Asian joints as they had it down packed (Thai 7/10 and Japanese 8/10), Time Out had the setting near perfect, but If I was them I would walk around and check if my tenants are following the protocols. Was super disappointed really wanted that rice and beans. Will definitely go back to try again but will observe b4 I order, hope they get their act together.

I have to say this place's food is like crack, I have to eat here at least once a week.

J'ai beaucoup aimé la plupart de leurs plats. Les frites de plantain qui viennent avec certains plats sont spécialement bonnes. Le griot est parfois un peu sec, mais très bon tout de même. Rien à critiquer du service.

Food was not worth the price. The oxtail with tip and tax was 27$, and was only three small pieces. Despite it having rum, I did not taste any rum at all. I will stick to buying from actual Caribbean restaurants, where you get more and pay less.

Food is great though I've found it be a little too salty at times. Wish the portions were a little more balanced since it's usually mostly rice and a tiny bit of meat. Still, great spot for Caribbean food!

Had the L’Haitien The Haitian and a bottle of the Ting Sparkling Grapefruit. The protein is good. It’s a gem in Montreal, who knew there’s this kind of food here:) in the Timeout Market Food Court

Endroit fort sympathique avec un large choix de restaurateurs pour passer un agréable moment.
Pour ma part, j'ai dégusté un délicieux curry japonais accompagné d'un soda maison.
Le lieu est propre et suffisamment grand, la décoration y est chaleureuse.

Excellent food, meat and rice combinations great, it has such tasty flavors, great customer service as well. I'll give it 5 stars.

I thoroughly enjoyed the grilled fish (sea bream)! The slightly sour and spicy sauce was amazing with a nice little kick. The amount of fish can easily feed 2 people.

Ordered the jerk chicken, I had read the reviews that seemed generally positive, but wasn’t expecting anything new. Well, I was pleasantly surprised by a lot of different flavors. I had tasted spicy chicken of the likes of piri-piri, and had tried to cook jerk chicken myself but never got the spices right. Everything in the plate tasted new to me, even considering I have visited over 20 Carribean islands, was beyond my expectations, this plate made my day. Next time i eat out I know where to go, looking forward to try the other dishes. I put four star because it was only my first time here and I don’t know if the experience will be consistent. If you choose the jerk chicken, make sure you have something to drink, it’s a bit hot but in a good way:)

Ready cool ambiance and choice of restaurants. Impressive bar section at the back too! Went to Marusan and had the ramen with extra pork and the onsen egg. Definitely recommend!

J’en avais entendu parler, mais wow belle place. Beaucoup de choix et faut l’avouer c’est clean. Cela change des tous les autres food courts miteux qui vende de la malbouffe, très bon repas haïtien en passant et super respect des consignes sanitaire. Hâte de revenir!

The ramen from Marusan is the best ramen I had in Canada. Beats all the Toronto ramen restaurants. The pork is well marinated, thinly sliced and just amazing. I don’t recall the name as it is not on their website, but it is the most basic ramen from the menu. I do wish they had a menu combined with all the vendors, or with images. I would definitely come back.

I have tried the pizza, blossom, that burger place and the taco place so far only blossom and pizza were good …. The tacos were horrible…. The burger didn’t even have enough toppings… it just looked cheap and not very tasty. The cocktails by the bar are really good, their bloody ceaser is the best I have tried!

Expérience délicieuse au Time Out Market! J'ai essayé leur "Haïtien", un griot de porc (épaule de porc) avec plusieurs bonnes choses à l'intérieur.
Porc en soi n'était pas sec du tout, croustillant de par sa double cuisson. La salade épicée et vinaigrée se mariait bien avec le riz aux épices plus subtiles, le petit "beignet" croustillant à souhait, la douceur de la banane plantain et la texture crémeuse des haricots par-ci et là!

Très bon endroit pour boire un verre à deux ou en groupe. Les lumières, l'ambiance et la décoration sont vraiment agréable!

Petit bémol sur les différents restaurants qui sont vraiment délicieux ou peuvent laisser à désirer malheureusement.

Ok so this is some prime food right there. The quality of the food is supreme. If you want Griot that tastes like the one you can get in Haiti, this is the right place. The only downside is that the portion is on the smaller side. And it is in a mall which removes a bit of the fancy feeling you get from an actual restaurant. I give it 5 stars and strongly recommend still.

Was looking for a quick lunch with my brother in the Time Out Market and we decided to try out Chef Paul Toussaint's stall. We opted to split a haitan jerk chicken, and although the price was quite high at $23 with tax and tip, the portion was large. The chicken was also excellent, with a smoky marinade that was neither too spicy nor mellow, and complimented by well cooked rice and smashed plantains. The flavours melded very well together, and I'd be excited to try out more options at the stall on a future visit.

So flavourful! Really impressed that this is available at a food court, will be back for the ribs and grilled fish.

Djondjon aucunement representatif du plat haïtien, on dirait une soupe avec des fruits de mers! Franchement inmangeable! Odeur désagréable.

Came here for Marusan. Food itself was okay—had to order a take out and took me 45mins to eat so I don't want to focus too much on the food itself but the menu in the market. I am very surprised there is no English menu and honestly I don't know why. It's like people don't expect any travellers who don't speak in French? Target audiences are local people? No ideas but very disappointed on the decision making no matter what that is.

A refaire. Plus souvent qu'autrement. Pour le moment retour en confinement. Mais dès que ce sera autorisé nous serons de retour en force.

Located in Eaton center in downtown Montreal. Nice ambiance and decoration. 6 restaurants besides bars were opened, less than the usual number of restaurants because of Covid 19. Excellent food in at leaat 4 restaurants that we tried. Love the place. Should visit if you are in Montreal

Very clean and visually pleasing food court offering meals from great restaurants across Montréal. Definitely not fair to call it a food court considering the quality you get. Great spot to bring friends to when you’re not sure what to eat. There’s also a bar which is pretty cool!
There’s vegan options at Il Miglio, Paul Toussaint and Le Red Tiger as far as I know. Also vegan icecream at Dalla Rose.

One of my favorite spots to have lunch downtown. Sadly closed due to Covid-19 - hopefully will come back when the world does.

The environment is pleasant and food is not so delicious but enjoyable. I spend a good time with my friends. The overall experience is satisfying. People, feel safe to visit this place during Convid-19. It's big and not crowded.

Love the atmosphere outside of COVID, and probably one of the safer places indoors to go now. Good precautions and lots of space, although many booths are closed

Très beau food court pour un repas rapide ou pour passer un après-midi! Il y avait même un band live samedi! Je recommande les ramens du Marusan ou le banh-mi du Red Tiger!

Tout est fait pour respecter les consignes de sécurité. La bouffe est bonne et fraîche. Un délice à tous les coups! On a été mangé chez Paul Toussaint. Plat de riz collé et griot goûteux Ceviche bien fait! Purée de plantain avec grillades de lambis.un régal.

Great place, it feels like you're in New York. The choice is vast and the prices are reasonable. Stay on the lookout for the crowd during peak hours, but it is manageable if you're patient. Good place for a happy hour

Lieu vraiment très agréable que l'on soit en couple, en famille ou entre amis. Lumière tamisée et déco chic et épurée. De très bons plats ou hors d'oeuvre à grignoter tout en sirotant un cocktail, un bon verre de vin ou encore une bière pour les amateurs!

Bonne ambiance, place spacieuse, un bar, etc. Personnellement je trouves cela mieux organisé que cathcar, je recommande bien pour une date (apporté 20$ pour bien manger)

A good idea for the business crowds but as a mall foodcourt, not so sure.

I get that the vibe is chic 5-7 cocktail all the time but if I'm having lunch after shopping with my family, I kinda don't think the lighting is suited for that.

I tried the burger from the chef toque and it was expensiiiiiiive. I got a regular cheeseburger with extra bacon and it was tiny. They also forgot the cheese and bacon but I'll forgive them because they refunded me and were so nice about the whole issue. I also got the fries on the side. All that for $18. Steep.

I've also had the ramen from Marusan and it was really good for around $16.10 with taxes.

I've also had the chicken poutine from ramanos, which was also good.

The food is very good it's just so expensive and there's nowhere to sit if you visit during peak hours.

Good food, great design. Just be aware that none of the stands take cash, only card transactions.

Not a tourist friendly place unless you can speak French. I was hoping to try food from local restaurants here but couldnt read the menu to order. Highly disappointed

Super endroit, très propre. Super resto de renom y sont installés. Certain plat ne sont pas à la hauteur de la réputation de la maison. Ça reste un endroit interressant pour repas sur le pouce

Place looks very nice and new. Everything seemed clean and the vibe was very nice. We stood by the bar the whole time trying to snatch a table from all the frustrated waiting customers but no luck. This place is first come first serve. Lots of staff everywhere but they're not there to help you get seated. The place is over crowded during busy evening hours so don't expect to get seated unless you bully someone out of their seat. The 18+ sign at the bar entrance is just a suggestion. The place had infants with their parents all over the bar area. There were groups of staff chatting in different areas not seeming to do much. Definitely the place is over staffed.

Sadly we never had a chance to try any of the food due to the massive lineups at almost all the restaurants and of course not having a seat doesn't help:)

The washroom situation is worth mentioning. Only washroom available is small for the size of the area. The washroom is unisex with confusing signs for most people. Many people were waiting outside the doors in confusion if the can go in or not. The signs are not clear it's a unisex bathroom. There are two signs at the front entrance. A man and a woman, which leads people to think it's a common entrance to two gender specific washrooms but you go in and all of a sudden ur in the middle of this unisex bathroom and people rushing out in confusion. At first glance bathroom seems over crowded but it's just people waiting outside not knowing if they can go in or not.

The idea is great. The location is perfect. The restaurant lineup and their product list seemed amazing. Sadly the execution is very poor. I would even say a fail but the place seems to workout during the earlier non busy hours.

I found the whole place confusing and not so easy to navigate. This place is worth a visit during non busy hours, stay away during rush hours. I will give it another visit but I doubt I will change my review.

The bar drinks were very tasty and unique.

I think this food court/hall would be great for a drink and possibly a bite after shopping at the mall, just be sure to show up early. Maybe even before you go shopping.

The first time I went was several weeks ago and it was great the atmosphere was welcoming and I enjoyed my experience so I decided to take a friend to check it out. We ordered Romados and we’re planning to get some smoked meat egg rolls so we sat down at the counter with our food but were told we couldn’t sit there. When I explained we planned to order from this stall in a moment the person behind the counter alerted an usher that asked us to sit elsewhere. I find this totally unacceptable for a place that bills itself as a communal eating space and in fact emphasizes that approach to dining. I highly doubt I’ll be returning when our city is blessed with other more accommodating options.

The fact that drinks have to be ordered separately elsewhere is a huge inconvenience.
Also, i don't understand why tips are automatically suggested when you pay. There's no service, you have to bring your own tray and find your own spot.

No seating and way too crowded. Food was overpriced. Romados chicken sandwich had barely any chicken and burgers from Burger T were nothing special. I've been to both Lisbon and Brooklyn Timeout locations and had much better experiences there.

Variety and superb ambiance. This place is an excellent opportunity to sample some of the best Montreal's restaurants. Love it!

J'y suis allé deux fois et chaque fois c'était la pire expérience.
Les gens se bousculent pour les tables, le service est super impersonnel et la configuration est très désagréable. Queues partout, tu dois jouer du coude avec ton cabaret pour aller t'asseoir et dès que tu as ta dernière bouchée en bouche il y a une horde de gens qui veulent ta place.vraiment très désagréable.
La deuxième fois je suis allé au Romados; le poulet était extrêmement sec, les frites non épicées et la salade était tellement molle et dégoûtante, que j'avais l'impression qu'elle avait été préparée la veille.
Dernière fois à cet endroit!

Si je compare à celui de Lisbonne, je suis très déçu, je commande une biffana, passe la transaction et après, on me dit qu'il n'y en a plus, il est 17hrs30. La musique est trop forte, l'éclairage sombre, manque d'espace. Pour un verre de vin, on peut consommer seulement dans une section où il n'y a jamais de place. Il n'y a aucune magie. À Lisbonne la magie y était.

Best place for friends and colleagues gathering. Top local kitchen available for all. Open area for cocktails or cold beer.

Excellente nourriture. Il faut s’attendre à payer 15 à 20$ l’assiette, mais ça vaut le déplacement. Beau concept! Ravioli aux truffes 10/10!

It was my first time going to Time Out Market, and I was pleasantly surprised at the selection and quality of food I consumed.

However, the experience was disappointing. I was with several friends who are not from Montreal and we had a difficult time as very little of the menus were billingual. Even for myself as a local, with having several dietary restrictions, translating in my head and making sure nothing I ordered contained allergens was made more difficult not having english menus available at all of the locations (some do have english and french and that was great).

I really hope this is due to the market being fairly new and will eventually get both english and french menus, otherwise I will hesistate to visit again.

Cool ambiance, so-so food, will this place last?

Had a "Signature Toqué Veal Burger" at Burger T and, as other reviewers have mentioned, it was minuscule. The burger itself was good but there is no way it could be considered a meal on its own, it's almost the side of a hamburger slider. Fries are 4$ extra and of the frozen kind, come on.
Extras (Cheese, bacon,) are also quite expensive. All in all I paid $20 for a tiny hamburger and a handful of McDonald's fries.

Will definitely try a couple of the other places but, not so sure this concept will survive in Montreal, sorry but there are better choices here.

Update December 19th:
Had lunch at "Le Club Chasse et Peche" and one of the best risottos I ever had, super tasty and the price/quantity were fair.
On the cons side, the tables were so full at 11: 45am that we had to look around for two spots for a good 5-10 minutes.

Belle diversité pour manger un peu plus haut de gamme que dans les foires alimentaires régulières. Longues files d'attente à l'heure du lunch la semaine.

Quality food at a nice food court sounds like a great idea, then you go there and there isn't a single quality plate there. Burger and ramen were bland and small, the pizza was a bit sad but definitely the best thing out there

Imagine a very busy food court in a mall that served overpriced food. We had to walk around for over 40 min to find a cramped spot where we had to eat standing up (no stools available). We sat so far from the restaurant we ordered food from and when it was time to get it, I had to maneuver around distracted people holding a tray, luckily a disaster did not happen. You need to be an expert not to be bumped due to excess of people and not so wide areas to move around.
Food was good, portions were okay, but like I said, kinda overpriced. On a good note, cocktails were amazing.

Food court from MTL best restaurant, ambiance is amazing for a food court in a mall. Prices are higher but so is the fine cuisine. A MUST TRY.

Question pourquoi est-on taxé sur les pourboires, ça me parait pas très normal!

Belle ambiance, mais malheureusement il manque de place. Nous étions deux et nous avons dû faire le tour plusieurs fois au moins pendant 15 minutes avant de trouver deux places assises. Pour un endroit de cette envergure pourquoi il n'y a pas plus de places? Aussi les prix sont très élevés par rapport à la quantité et la qualité que l'on reçoit. Je pensais que le concept était de découvrir la cuisine montréalaise accessible et abordable à tous. Malheureusement ce point a été manqué.
