Incredibly cool place! Great lineup of dishes that are ideal for sharing. Very happy to have tried this place out and will be back next time in Montreal. Friendly staff, cool vibe

Very nice atmosphere mostly all bar seating, which is different and cool. The food however, at least the dishes I ordered were very mediocre. Bar food for all bar seating I guess. Either way I still had a good time. Mitch was a fantastic server, very tentative and funny.

Un vrai resto-bar péruvien servant de la cuisine nikkei, cette fusion Japon Pérou. Selon l'ami péruvien qui m'accompagnait c'était comme au Pérou si ce n'est les ingrédients qu'on ne trouve pas au Québec.
Tous les plats se partagent facilement façon tapas, permettant de passer un moment convivial.
Le bar fait le tour de la salle créant une ambiance entre bar et restaurant. Avec également plein de bons cocktails, les gens sont là pour avoir du plaisir et s'amuser. Ça se sent.
Juste à côté vous avez au sous-sol le bar Pelicano avec DJ et le restaurant Chifa, qui est plus en mode restaurant que resto bar et qui sert la cuisine chifa, cette cuisine péruvienne d'inspiration chinoise.

We were disappointed at this restaurant. Portions are very small, even for the tapas theme. Waitress was not very helpful.
It has a very young atmosphere, especially because there are no tables, it's a very long bar.
The mai-cha cocktail was pretty good. Ceviche not so much. The bao bun was good.

J’y suis allée avec une amie et nous avons décidé de prendre plein de plats et de les partager puisqu’ils sont petits! Nous n’avons aucunement regretté cette décision!

Les plats étaient excellents et le fait de partager nous a permis de goûter à plus de choses. Les viandes et poissons étaient cuits parfaitement et les sauces étaient merveilleuses!

Le cocktail que bous avons pris était vraiment bon!

L’ambiance était très bien et la musique était bonne!

Les prix sont raisonnables! On s’attendait à beaucoup plus

The most horrific dining experience. Food takes over 45+ minutes to come out, the fish was terrifyingly smelly and when we inquired about it, the manager and staff were incredibly rude and not understanding. One of the staff members seemed like they were on drugs - it was just overall, a really bad experience.

Very disappointed, made reservations but they don’t have tables! Otherwise atmosphere and location are good. But not the spot for a quiet dinner for a couple, more for posing, posturing, to be seen and check out the local scene.

I would love to try the fish too, it is well known for it. Unfortunately, they ran out off it, so it is better reserved a table beforehand.

Great food! Service was excellent and sitting around the bar being able to watch how carefully each dish is prepared made the whole experience very enjoyable!

The food was good, service and waitress Emilie were terrible. She was very high tempered, unprofessional, rude, forgot a drink, and added it to my friend’s bill then didn’t realize she never brought it, made a drink wrong and took 30 minutes to bring it back after we had finished eating, dropped a plate on the floor after taking it from us, and told us to not wait for others to get their food to start eating because everything comes at different times because that is the restaurant’s concept. Overall it was a very underwhelming service but the food we ordered was good and reasonably priced. Perhaps with another waitress the experience would’ve been better.

Great place to go for drinks and tapas down by Old Montreal! The staff were very friendly and the place was hip and clearly very popular (even on a Sunday night). The only disappointment was that 4 or 5 of the things we wanted on the menu were unavailable (mostly the seafood items which is what we went for based on other reviews). Our bar tender explained that this was due to the Saturday/July 1st rush, which is understandable but did impact our meal. However, we ended up ordering the Octopus, Calamari, Duck Sandwich & Chicken Dumplings, all of which were excellent! Pictured in the photo it the Macchu Picchu (tall) and the Spicy Ponzu - would highly recommend the former, but the latter was a little bitter.

Overall a great meal with great service! Very cool to get a look into the process (open kitchen) - thanks for the delicious meal!

Great food and drinks, absolutely terrible service.

Had reservations at 6: 30pm, sat outside on the patio. Water took some time, but not too long. We ordered two cocktails and 5 small plates.

Cocktails came out in a timely fashion, first two plates took maybe 30 minutes. (Octopus and calamari - both very good)
Second two plates took another 30 min. (Duck skewers and duck sandwich - both okay and flavorful)
Where was our last one? We waited for another 30 min before our waitress came to us and asked if we were waiting on anything else.
We had ordered the chicharron and were waiting. She apologized and said that there was an error with the printing machine, so a lot of orders were delayed. Would have been nice to know earlier…!
She said that it would probably be another 15 min wait for the food, if that’s too long, we can cancel the order. We were in no rush, so we said we can wait. Fifteen minutes isn’t so bad. We did ask for the check right away since we knew if we let her go, we’d have to wait another 30 min for the check.

Well, we waited another 30 min for the check anyway. She disappeared and didn’t return. When she did, she said she lost our check but can print out another one, as long as we don’t need our receipt, which was fine. We confirmed again that we would like our chicharron and paid for it. We waited a whole hour for it, surely it must be coming out soon. Maybe that was our mistake.
Bill taken care of, and she said, “I’ll go check on your chicharron! ”

She never came back and it was hard to flag her down. She passed us on multiple occasions to attend to other tables without giving us an update. Another FORTY FIVE minutes passed, and we just gave up. We got up and left because that’s just unacceptable at that point. Maybe we could have been more aggressive in asking about our food, but it shouldn’t have to be that way.

Terrible service, good food and cocktails. Wouldn’t return due to the terrible service.

I went here for dinner a few weeks ago and it immediately became my new favourite restaurant! Our servers were so lovely and the food was incredible, honestly the best duck I have ever had. It was hard to pick which dishes to get since everything sounded so good, so I'm looking forward to trying some more things next time. I highly recommend!

We ordered 2 drinks and 5 plates. The fried calamari tasted so good, very tender, never tried yuca fries before, yummy. Chick dumpling with sweet chili sauce, nice! Because of restaurant inside has red light (there logo) all my pics showed red. Over all worth to go place.

Dans un restaurant où la valeur monétaire de l'expérience culinaire oscille entre 75 et 100 dollars par convive, il est tout à fait raisonnable de s'attendre à un service de haute volée, un niveau d'exigence plus élevé que dans un établissement modeste. Nous avons pris place à 19 heures, un quatuor d'affamés, et nous avons été accueillis avec un vent d'indifférence.
Notre loge de banquet était incommode, positionnée de manière inconfortable entre deux groupes de convives bruyants sur des bancs austères. Le comptoir de béton, dénudé de tout artifice, nappe ou napperon, n'apportait aucune chaleur supplémentaire.
De l'eau, visiblement témoin du passage des années dans un réseau de plomberie usé, nous a été servie avec désinvolture. Quant à notre interaction avec notre serveur Alex, elle fut certes efficiente, mais aussi dénuée de chaleur humaine que la banquise arctique. Sa seule question, « Bonjour. Êtes-vous prêts à commander? », aurait tout aussi bien pu trouver sa place dans un magasin de bricolage ou une épicerie quelconque.
L'ambiance générale, bien que cordiale, était envahie d'une cacophonie désagréable. Les autres convives semblent être en compétition pour l'espace vital, alors que nos coudes se retrouvent en étrange proximité les uns des autres. Heureusement, la gastronomie offerte s'est avérée majoritairement intrigante et délectable, ce qui a permis d'adoucir quelque peu l'expérience.
L'établissement, étonnamment strict sur le concept du temps, impose une durée limitée à 2 heures par repas. Ainsi, trente minutes avant notre départ, le maître d'hôtel est venu nous notifier de manière plutôt glaciale notre délai imminent, malgré le fait que la capacité d'accueil du restaurant était à peine à moitié exploitée. Disons que cette première incursion n'encourage pas, il faut le dire, une visite prochaine.

The food was decent but the service was not good at all. My food came out before my cocktail. I had to walk to the hostess desk to pay because the staff was inattentive.

Food generally very good. Crabs, spicy calamari, Yuca fries, papa rellena all excellent! The scallop Parmesan was awful - is it supposed to taste like sawdust swimming in milk?

Our outdoor waitress was friendly and competent but pressed for time. Indoor staff rude and unpleasant. Booked a “table” online and they placed us at the bar with stools. I complained and he said it’s a tapas bar! Like I was the idiot for expecting a table at a restaurant. Luckily there was a table outside.

I love this place! The food, the service and the atmosphere is all perfection! It's a fun place to be, with the staff, who remembers who you are and treats you like family. And the food is always top quality

Food was just ok. Not the best ceviches in town as they claim. Waiter was giving us a sassy impertinent attitude from minute one till the end.

C’était BON. J’ai adoré leurs cocktails, je reviendrai au moins pour ça déjà c’est sure! Leurs plats sont vraiment bon mais pour la quantité je trouve que c’est très chère … mais bon, ça reste que c’était de la bonne nourriture:) le service je pense que ça dépend sur qui on tombe, je suis tombé sur un serveur qui avait l’air perdu et une serveuse très souriante et sympathique. En tout cas, je reviendrai quand même!
