Had lunch here, great dim sum. Next time that I am visiting Montreal will definitely come back to eat here.

I’ve been going here for years but I think they’ve changed chefs because the dim-sum and dinner are out of this world. Delicious and fresh.

Nous avons découvert cet endroit il y a un peu plus d'un an. Contrairement aux buffets et aux restaurants "à numéros", nous avons apprécié la formule à la carte où chaque plat contient au moins 4 portions. À moins de vouloir se faire une réserve de "doggy bags", il est donc préférable d'y aller à 4 au moins. Le choix est très très très varié. Impossible de ne rien trouver à son goût. On est loin du "chinois américain". La cuisine est authentique et flirte également avec la cuisine thaïlandaise.
Pour qui aime explorer, c'est le paradis. Évidemment, tous les goûts sont dans la nature et la nature n'est pas dans tous les goûts. Alors forcément, Il y a des plats qui ne sont pas évidents.
Pour notre part, la soupe aux oeufs, crabe et asperges est la meilleure et les crevettes au sel et poivre n'ont pas leurs pareilles.
Ce restaurant vaut le détour et mérite d'être adopté.

Food is very bland, and one waiter in particular was distasteful and kept making rude comments to us as if some people at the table didn't understand chinese. Didn't deserve any tips in my opinion.

This has been my go to for Dim Sum and good Asian food for years, when I can't make it to Chinatown. Best Asian restaurant near Laval!

***Update** Here at the moment, it's 1pm, tables are nearly all taken, in other words full house, but NO dim sum carts passing! Staff is getting ruder and ruder every visit. Hopefully Imperial west island will serve us better when they open.

Terrible service, terrible food, legit had 10 options only that keep circulating during dim sum time. Waiter showed up once to put the tea pot down. No service, no cleaning up dirty dishes, we had to chase the waiter down to pay. Still has audacity to ask for 15% tips.

Delicious food, great and fast service, went on a Sunday morning around 11am and was seated right away, lots of tables available!

I was not happy with the way this restaurant runs. We were a party of 6 visiting from Vancouver, and one of our friends lived here in Montreal, so she recommended this place. The food was decent even though the service was slow. I totally understand it because it was a busy restaurant; however I did not like the way one of the waiter treated us the way we paid our tips. He insisted that all dishes were not charged with taxes, so that we need to pay more in terms of tips. My understanding is that tips are optional and the amount of tips I am willing to pay really depends on the experience I have received from the service. During the conversation, he hinted that we were new to Canada, and did not know the tradition of tipping culture in Canada. I found this rather offensive, as we were not new immigrants, and have lived in Vancouver for more than 20 years. I would not come back to this restaurant ever again.

Love it here. Really great place to go for brunch. Food is delicious and staff is friendly and very quick.

Heads up: The area is crazy busy at noon so it's hard to find parking. If you can go a bit before or after the lunch rush.

Gotta be patient.but the wait is worth it. The dishes are authentic and delicious. The staff is friendly too.

Comme beaucoup de resto asiatique le service en français manque beaucoup, une serveuse vient nous voir et nous présente des repas mais elle récite son baratin tout en parlant dans sa langue pas de français ni anglais? Pourquoi passer aux table si tu ne peux savoir le contenu?

We went there last year, was pretty good, price was resonable.last saturday, we went again, found they increased price a lot, and food was not even as good as before.two peoples breakfast costs 87dollars with tax and tips. I do think its too much for breakfast.compares with la maison kim fung, it costs about 70 for two.food is good.and their service is better than before as you can see my other post.anyways, if you dont care the price, you can go there.but I care

this to the owner, I understand the pendamic affect your business a lot, but increases the price is not the only way to keep your business open, as I saw you have lot less customers than before, the quality of food, service, price, are all important for the business.if you think your price is ok, please go check your competitors by yourself then you know I am not lying.increased the price will make more people go away.you will lose more business for sure.

Solid dim sum. Lots of variety. Authentically made. Service is decent. You dine as you go, not AYCE but prices are decent. Go in a group and enjoy.

Used to be BYOW now they have liquor license. Only 4 table on a Wed night.but the food is good still

Nourritures correctes. C'est pratique de venir ici: au moins il y a le parking. Si vous payez cash, vous payez pas les taxes. Je suis venu pour le Dim Sum

I lived in brossard for 20 years and Tong Por knocked every chinese experience out of the water. Must have salt& pepper shrimps! Everything is else is fresh and tasty too!

If you want more traditional Chinese food on the carts, go at lunch time but be prepared to wait in a long line. If you go earlier around 11, the line will be less long and the food will be more traditional dim sum. The service isn't amazing, you really have to wave the people with the carts down, but that's dim sum! It's definitely the best I've had in the city. To those people complaining about the price.after tip and tax I found it fair for all that we ate, and pretty on par with any buffet style place (about $30 per person depending on what you order) - if you want to spend less, just go to a regular Chinese restaurant. My party was also one of the few groups of non-Asian families/groups which is usually a good sign to me.

On adore ce restaurant et. C'est un classique à Montréal pour la cuisine chinoise. DimSum, souper en soirée, banquet de mariage.

Kind of a unique experience (here in Montreal) with good food on cart… only downside is that it’s a little expensive for the portions they serve, especially during pandemic.still that’s a 4 star for me.there are only few places like this who serves food on cart so yep go for it folks!

Probably the worse customer service you can have in Montreal. A waiter was impatient and rude when we wanted to check if the sauce was provided.

It was a treat to come back to this restaurant for dim sum. The place was humming with carts of Asian tapas, diners enjoying the food and each other's company. I was happy I got to dress up again and wear a nice dress, seldom used purse and fancy heels for the occasion. Why not, eh? The waiter was the same one that attended to our family in the times we ate there pre-covid, so it was very nice to see familiar faces. Definitely come for food (plump juicy dumplings, crispy fried squid, aromatic seafood stuffed eggplant, stuffed braised tofu skins, and lots of other yummy food)

Traditional dim sum selection. Nothing fancy or adventurous. Parking is always a gong show in the plaza. My recommendation is to simply park on the streets if you see one as you pull in. It will save you some headaches and potentially dings on your car.

Great restaurant that offers a variety of traditional dim sum dishes which consists of a collection of savory and sweet tastes from a variety of steamed and fried buns, dumplings and rolls. The down side is the parking which is a major hassle.

Horrible service. Understandable for slower service due to covid and less staff but the first 30 mins we sat down and no food or service, 45 mins in they finally bring out the menu only after we flagged them down. 1.5hours later after ordering from a la carte, they hand out food to another table.

Staff need training. Didn’t even clear our table. Honestly, I recommend everyone go somewhere else. I used to come get with my family and it was good but the past two times I went this same situation happened.

Miserable customer service! I ordered in the restaurant for take out and waited nearly one hour. I asked the reception, he said that they have an over 300$ order to take care first. If so occupied, at least inform customers so ones can decide whether to wait or just cancel order.

Best dim sum in this area. Chinatown is a long ways away.
They are doing take out only right now but doing it well and have not cut portions. Have authentic dishes.

Great take out during this "virulent" period! Salt and Pepper Tofu is tops as usual and the Cantonese chow mein is packaged properly which other joints don't do, so the noodles stay Crispy when you bring it home!

Our family has been getting food from this store from when they first open. The noodles quality and quantity (not in the photo) are still good and worthwhile but the fish with sauce is not satisfactory. It costs $1/fish essentially. There used to be much more but opening the food and seeing this was shocking. I guess next time I won't be getting this if this is how it's going to look like. It tastes alright but yeah.

Very good Dim Sum. Portions and price is ok. Parking lot is small but there is street parking as well

Service was great but the food was a bit too salty for my Asian mother. My white girlfriend was all up in that tho. YEET

Really Bad service. Is it not a good choice to eat here with the whole family. You don’t know how many hours you need to wait, even you asked the service, the only answer they give you is “Don’t Know, don’t ask me “with a extremely bad attitude.

Très bon restaurant. Le service est irréprochable tout comme la qualité et saveur des mets proposés.

I was really impressed by the staff. Their professionalism and courtesy brought the waiters service to another level. We were a group of 9, and they took the time to explain and give advise, from the Chinese Combos pecial menus. When our glass of water was half full, they would come refilling it, replace the plates if they see its too small, etc. Their attention to details made them earn their 35%tips. Any regular evening, we don't have to worry about finding a parking spot, and a nice table inside. The place is large enough for events, wedding party, etc.

Nothing negative here, the best dim-sum in Montreal. The service is fast, and if they don't have what you want, they'll ring it in to the kitchen and they'll make it for you fairly quickly. The price is very good for service. My go to place for a good meal when I'm hungry!

Bad service. They tried to charge for food we did not receive. Other customers were so disgusted, they just walked out after waiting 45 min and no service. Nothing positive about this place. Don't go!

Décevant, j'attendais beaucoup de ce resto, mais j'ai reçu peu. La bouffe est bonne mais le personnel en salle (les serveurs masculins) sont exécrables. Ils nous servent quand bon leur semble et ce même après les avoir appelés poliment plusieurs fois.

Ordered food today for take out, went to pick it up. I ordered a nid d'oiseaux which is supposed to be noodles with the meat and veggies. I paid 50$ to get served only veggies and meat and no noodles. When i tried calling them twice no answer. Horrible!
