Je suis très déçu pour le ox tail rice and peas. Il n'y a pas le goût Jamaican que je m'attendais. Accompagner d'un riz jaune sans pois rouge et d'une salade iceberg avec un peu de carotte râpées sur le dessus. De plus il n'y avait pas de plantains. C'est la première fois que je me déplace pour un repas que je crois Jamaican et qui me donne l'impression que Ginette a cuisiné. Mon prochain oxtail ne sera malheureusement pas de cet endroit. Il était mangeable mais décevant

Don't waste your time and money for this place. Service is horrible. My friend came to pick up food and night staffs are disrespect.

Wow, their Jerk chicken Rice is amazing. Really fresh & well cooked tender chicken with well cooked rice with jerk sauce, its excellent!
Money well spent for the quantity & quality. Recommend this place to anyone who love Caribbean food or wants to try.

November 3,2023 Once again I had the best Chicken Roti, with hot sauce. The place sells lots of other things and I've been going here for many years. Today a slice of Pumpkin pie caught my attention. Well after eating it I just had to write a review. It was so delicious, not too sweet, a nice big slice. It went so well after my roti. Go for the roti but don't forget the Pumpkin Pie.

Super super delicious! I had the jerk chicken plate and my bf had the pineapple chicken plate. The man who we ordered with was also so sweet and nice. Really happy we went to try this spot out for the first time, will def come again

First time eating Caribbean food, and I am SO glad I tried this restaurant. The man taking our order was also super nice. Highly recommend eating there!

I really wanted to try a different Caribbean restaurant, but was so dissapointed. Food is expensive and the taste didn’t satisfy us. Sorry, we won’t be back!

This place needs to have better customer service. I placed an order on Uber eats for a chickpea sandwich. I asked them to just put the chickpeas on the side so the bun didn’t get soggy as I’m eating it later (I also ordered the chicken plate). They just cancelled my order. When I called they said they can’t do that. I said why? Do you make them in the morning? How is it any different to put the filling in a sealed bowl versus putting it in the bun? I’ve ordered it before as is and the buns arrived soggy. So I didn’t want that to happen. They’ve already put the pre mixed chickpea filling on the side on a past request when I was paying full price so what’s the problem now? It takes 1 minute to do. My guess is they weren’t going above and beyond because I had an Uber eats special discount and they weren’t making much off it. Not ordering from here again.

One of the worst vegetarian food I've had. Nothing had flavor; everything tasted like water, salt and oil apart from the plantain chips, those were decent.

Man, I only dipped a bite and was instantly amazed by their curry and supreme double! Crispy without being greasy, perfect seasoning and filling were just all tasty. Marked for return!

Ordered the goat roti plate, the menu says rice and salad, didnt recieve the salad nor did i receive salad on my second order (boneless chicken roti plate.) ($46 dollars later)
My food was cold (15 minute car ride) and to be honest it wasnt as good as it used to be before the pandemic.the chicken platebwas okay at best.im really suprised because tropical was my go-to for roti.kinda disappointed.

I drive 20-30 minutes out of my way just to eat here. Staff is super friendly and the food is great. The plantains are top notch too!

Been eating here for the last 20 years or so! Their roti (chicken and goat) is delicious, their jerk chicken wrap is tasty, service is awesome, great family and happy they're still doing their thing!

Ordered the chicken doubles trio through UberEats. Although the sandwiches were a bit oily and soggy, everything tasted very good. Best to eat the doubles asap. Nothing fancy, but would order again if I crave comfort food.

Tried the beef roti, pieces of fat, potatoes are mashed instead of cubed but taste fine, just strange to find mashed potatoes in a roti. Too much potato though.
Nothing special, too bad because someone had recommended this place.

They deserve to be "Top Eats". Nothing fancy but it's consistent. Try their signature Double Original or with chicken. Some restaurants are victim of their success, I hope they continue to give reliable plates of yummy spicy food. Neat, fresh and delicious!

Ordered their Jerk Chicken Roti and Beef Patties. Hands down the best in the city and I will be ordering from there a lot more.

Food is amazing and generous portions! Unfortunately the packaging when ordering is styrofoam which is really not great for the environment.cardboard would be better!

I can't praise this place enough (but I will). The food is so tasty, so fresh. Rotis are good for two meals and it arrives hot. Remember, we're here for a good time, if not a long time.

Been grabbing the doubles here for decades. Sadly have to go through the apps during these times but wow do they really come through on that end. Ordering food to the restaurant you are working in always a trip, but there’s nowhere else near the centre of the city to grab these delectable dainties.

I am generally a huge fan of doubles. Never been treated so poorly by a restaurant in my life! I forgot to ask for my doubles spicy. I asked the person to add spicy sauce and the person was not willing to make them spicy. When I left he said “Please do not come back”.

Good chicken jerk, very tasty. Rice to chicken ratio and salad amount needs re-balancing. Wasn't expecting that much rice! Had leftover rice after eating chicken and salad (not a lot of salad).

Service needs improvement. You can get more sales and repeat clients if you show more care and enthusiasm. Its like the owner was annoyed I was asking questions (first time customer).

First time trying caribbean food. It was fresh and well cooked and flavorful. I didn't like the texture of the breads though, it felt wet. I think that might be normal in that type of cuisine, but in any case except that it was good!

Although the food was pretty good the few times I had it, unfortunately I will not be eating here again, nor recommending it. I value customer service and respect over anything, and I had one of the worst experiences here. Staff (family-owned) was unnecessarily rude, and had no interest in accommodating for very minor circumstances. I will not be going into details, but let’s just say my food was ready and I had no interest in taking it by the end of my visit!

Best carribean food in Montreal. Everything was so fresh even after being delivered. Highly recommend the Mango cheesecake for a unique amazing flavour!

Doubles are still great! These are my best go-to doubles in the city.

But please change your patty. The patty lack taste. It is not like the previous patty you guys had. Pretty sad that I bought more than one patty today, expecting something I had before. Patty was a 2/5

Amazing food! From the BBQ Plate, to the Jerk Chicken, grab some Doubles and end it with a tasty Pattie. This is a must visit local joint for some authentic food. Uber Eats is available too. My only complaint is the BBQ plate sauce is a little too much on the over salted side. 5/5.
