I definitely trusting this place now, I get a classy haircut and save my long hair as much as possible. Recommending Olivier

Went there with my wife. She booked Olivier in advance but he was 32! Minutes late for the appointment. While waiting for him we felt abandoned cause no one came to us and explained what’s happening (no coffee/water had been offered as well) so we had to ask the receptionist and she only said “he’s on his way”. They of course apologized and made a 20% discount for this but the impression was ruined from the start (considering this is my wife’s first experience with hair salons in Canada).
Then the haircut. It lasted 1.5 hours (during which I sat there on a couch and again no one offered any drinks to me and my wife) but the results was barely visible when my wife came out. Definitely not worth 2 hours of waiting and $80 price (-20% discount)
Also the stylist didn’t listen nor understand what my wife wanted (she wanted the new haircut to cover some bald spots on her head, didn’t have that)
Also she mentioned very long hair washing procedure so her neck became numb, people who has similar issues- pay attention. Olivier made some massage after but really it would have been better if he just washed faster and spend the time on the haircut instead of massage. Yes he was gentle and all but when you pay that money it’d be great to have the result as well.
More communication required between clients and the stylists in this case, that’s what in general my feedback is about.
+1 star for the comfy waiting couch and breast of the receptionist (transparent blouse and no bra)

I've had such terrible experiences with salons in the past.too many nightmare haircuts to count. Ever since I got my first cut done by Vanessa at Two Horses, I've known and trusted that I'm finally in good hands.

Been getting my hair cut at Two Horses for years and have loved every cut they have given me. I have seen several different people and each one was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Great spot for curly haired folks, 10/10 would recommend.

First things first: I got a well-executed and unique haircut at this salon. Hair artist and scalp whisperer Lena-Letizia actively communicated with me to make sure I got exactly the cut I desired. She worked gently and attentively to provide a relaxing, custom experience. After my cut, I had a micro-blading consult and appreciated that the owner was direct with me that my eyebrows, which are light blonde and sparse, were above her current skill level in micro-blading. She even provided a recommendation to the person she trained under. When a business truly wants to provide the best service possible, even if it means referring a client elsewhere, it builds the kind of trust that creates enduring client loyalty.

Amazing place, for years I have been searching for a hairdresser for my long hair and I found Vanessa, she listened to me and did exactly what I wanted. Super happy to finally have a hairdresser I can go to.

I've been going to Two Horses for over 5 years now and have been a loyal customer ever since. The first thing that drew me in was their values - the website has an ethics page, and those ethics permeate every aspect of the business. Two Horses is truly a safe space.

The hair services are amazing too. My haircuts with Christie and Vanessa have always been incredible, and my colour experiences were amazing too. My hair is long, thick, and curly and I've had some nightmare experiences at other salons, but I've always left Two Horses very happy!

I also truly appreciate their Covid precautions. How many times have you walked into a business while using your phone, set your phone down or shoved it in your pocket to squirt on the hand sanitizer, then immediately picked up your phone and reintroduced all the germs you just tried to kill? At Two Horses, your hands and phone are both washed, ensuring your safety and that of the Two Horses team.

In short, I highly recommend Two Horses both as a great place to get your hair done and as a great place to support an ethical business that truly cares about their employees, customers, and community.

I had a fantastic experience with Vanessa at Two Horses. I was visiting from Toronto and decided to take a chance on a new salon, and I'm so glad I did! Vanessa had a great suggestion for the style of my cut and also gave me extremely helpful tips re: styling and brushing. I don't get my hair done often but every time I do opt for a professional service I go to Two Horses and each time I swear I'll never touch my own hair again! Absolute great service by the best in the city. I'll be seeing you soon hopefully!

I have been going to Two Horses for haircuts and colour for 5~ years now (and finally getting around to writing a review!). This past Tuesday I got a balayage and cut from Jessica and I am IN LOVE. I would say that this salon initially seemed pricey to me but I think you pay for what you get, and Jessica and the other employees are professional and deliver amazing results consistently. I initially started going to this salon because I heard it had a good reputation as a space that is welcoming to LGBTQIA folks and the same is true today <3 This business takes covid safety measures very seriously which is appreciated, as it assured me that the well-being of both staff and clients is top priority. Thank you Jessica and Two Horses crew for being awesome!

Awesome place! I tried to look more interesting than I really am with purple Dame Edna hair, my hair looked great but didn't match my housewife decorum.

Amazing place inclusive of EVERYONE! The staff are all such kind people who are all there to help you and make you feel like your best self. Special shoutout to Courtenay who has done a FLAWLESS job microblading my brows. She has been super helpful throughout the entire process, from pre-booking questions I had all the way to the final touchup day, and she'll make you feel like a beautiful human.:)

If you want a hair stylist that is passionate, very meticulous and talented, then IT'S TRISTAN. Few months ago I went for a short bob that is growing out ****perfectly****. It's nice to finally have found someone who really understands how my weird curly hair works while making my bangs fit my facial features.

I highly recommend Tristan, he is very precise with his work and you can tell he wants it to be EXACTLY what you want. He gave me my dream haircut!

Christie and everyone at the salon were absolutely wonderful! Friendly, attentive to details and incredibly hygienic (which is what we want in a pandemic). Will most definitely be back when I actually have hair to cut!

They're always nice and welcoming. Only been there for tattoos, but I'd get my hair done by them if I wasnt spending my money on tattoos.

Finally got my hair done at Two Horses, and still so nice and welcoming. Their COVID precautions are also really on points.
Love my haircut (thanks Jessica!) and I'll def come back for a trim!
