The quality overpasses the price. Seriously, you gotta try this place if you’re looking for accesible sushi with an extremely high end quality. I’m never disappointed. The only thing is the option that comes with 4 courses should have more options for the sushi, but other than that, this is an incredible place to come. Servers are very kind and I felt appreciated as a customer. It’s also BYOB!

The sushi is very fresh and some of the best I have ever had. It's a bring your own wine restaurant so you get great food and wine at SAQ pricing, making for a well priced meal. Highly recommended restaurant.

Très bon service, le repas était excellent nous avons pris le bateau #2 pour 2 personnes qui venait avec une soupe et une salade. C’était quand même une grosse portion pour 2, mais ont les emportés! Je recommande fortement

We have been ordering from here or some time by take out or delivery, mostly sushi but also the general toa and a "pizza. " Originally everything was really good, the was fresh and tasted great and all for a reasonable price. I tried my friends general toa also which was quite good as well. The only issue was that when you order takeout or delivery is that there is a lot of packaging and mostly styrofoam which is really wasteful, I wish they found a more environmental packaging solution. However, more recently the quality has gone downhill and the prices have shot up. Our last order was very disappointing and we have decided not to order from here anytime. Very unfortunate in my opinion.

Réchauffé au micro-onde, rouleaux acheté surgelés, bref, pas une bonne expérience.

a combo for 3 people And it was enough for 4 people because the sushi size was big and it was very feeling. It comes with all kinds of fish and vegetables. It also comes with 3 soups, we took one of each and all were very tasty, and three salads that had too much mayo dressing. If you are taking the Shanghai soup it is huge in size and a great deal. Definitely recommend

Tout est tout à fait délicieux, fraîcheur, goût, apportez-vous vin. Les sushis étaient décadents, personne n'a été déçu, que ce soit les repas pour 2, les entrées, le poulet, les sushis, je recommande fortement!

This place was my favourite sushi in Montreal and I used to eat here weekly and have recommend this place to many, but unfortunately quality seems to have slipped in the last couple of years.
It seems like a lot of the rolls are made of leftover scraps of fish that are fatty and sinewy which was not the case in the past. For example the tuna and salmon rolls and the tar tar, which used to be some of my favourites and the last 3 times (delivery twice, in resto once) I couldn’t even eat them because they were visibly made with fatty scrap pieces with the blood line etc which was not very appealing. I hope they can get back to the level of quality they used to offer, but at the high price, it’s a risk I’m not sure I’ll take again which is disappointing.
The restaurant is also really loud and it’s hard to hear eachother even when sitting in a booth. They could definitely benefit from some sound barriers.

Correct, sans plus pour moi. Ambiance insipide. Décor soigné, service transparent et efficace, comptoir accessible et nombre de tables permettant d’accueillir une soixantaine de personnes. Très bruyant quand nous y sommes passés, surprenant pour un restaurant du genre. Jamais à la hauteur du défunt Miyako qui a fait la réputation du quartier en matière de sushi. Je n’y referai plus le détour. Le goût et l’apprêt du saumon et du thon, surtout, furent décevants. Le thon n’est pas déposé sur le riz, il y repose presque haché. Le maquereau était bon, le caviar aussi. Le choix des baguettes de métal réutilisables rendent la manipulation périlleuse, même pour les habitués. Service se voulant bilingue, but we were approached mostly in English.

Was good, service very quick. But a little pricy for what it is and althought tasted great, the salmon tartar had way too much fried tempura in it!

As lunch food OK. But,
-No chop sticks
-Difficult to open int.packs w/o scissors or samurai sword. Don't bring to work.
-Like spicy, and wasabi, but one bit made my head explode. Is it properly mixed?

Literally the best meal I’ve ever had in my entire life. Melt in your mouth GOODNESS. 10/10 recommend. Great service and will be back very very soon.

My second visit and the Pad Thaï vegetarian was excellent and my friend felt the same for his General Thao…. I recommend it

Been coming here for about 5 years and I cannot say i've ever been disappointed. Sushis are always fresh and tasty. Even since covid this is one of the few places where the quality has remained constant. Thank you Uchi for always fulfilling my sushi urges!

Uchi has been my favourite asian food restaurant for more than 3 years, stir fry, sushi, soups they have it all

Sushis sans goût et assez cher pour la qualité. Nous avons pris 7 sortes différentes, et ils avaient quasiment tous le même goût. 1ere fois que je ne finis pas mon plateau!
Nous avons pris à emporter, et la présentation des sushis n'était pas top.
Service courtois.

Apportez-votre vin très sympathique. Les portions partagées sont biens calculées et l’ambiance est prône pour un souper entre amis ou pour un couple.

Best sushi and noodles placeee ever.
The Caterpillar roll are definitely worth every penny! The pad thai is out of this world. Definitely #1 spot for sushis and more.

Alright food but ridiculous wait times.

My girlfriend and I called the restaurant in advance asking if they were busy. They said not at all. Biggest lie.

At the restaurant we were promptly seated but waited over TWO HOURS for the food to arrive.

The chefs were working hard but they should not be able accept so many customers if they aren't able to maintain the service.

Running a business is hard. Keep up the good work. Restaurants need all the support they can get.

I rave about this place to everyone who will listen. Best sushi ever. I used to order take out once a week for 4 years cause I was so obsessed and lived close by. I now live in Alberta and have not yet found a place as good as Uchi. I have one rule now and it is that when I visit Montreal I must come eat here. After not going for a year, I went last week and the food was as fresh and delicious as always. Oh and the sushi Pizza is to die for.

The food was fine but the wait was ridiculous. Called in advance and asked if there was a wait and they said no. Got to the restaurant and waited 10 minutes before being seated. Then waited 2 hours before getting the food.
$70 for 34 pieces and a 2 hour wait, after calling in advance. Honestly unpleasant experience considering I was very hungry before.
The quality of food was good but why didn't they just tell us over the phone that they were too busy so we could have saved our time. I wish I ordered fast food instead.

Acceuil: courtois, professionnel, rapide et sympathique.
Ambiance: décontracté et chic. Parfait pour sortie entre amis ou soirée d'amoureux!
Menu: À la carte. Bon qualité/prix. Tous les sushis sont magnifiquement délicieux et fondent dans la bouche. Le poisson est frais. Les goûts et textures sont recherchés et variés. Présentation impressionnante sur des bateaux! Mes préférés sont les flambées! Je donne 11/10!
Le restaurant est souvent complet. Vaut mieux réserver!

Ça fait déjà 10 ans qu'on fait une heure de route pour aller manger les meilleurs shushi à Montréal.
Uchi est le petit secret caché de l'île, leur shushi son toujours frais et généreux le riz fait toute la différence
Le chef Kévin nous surprend toujours avec des nouveautés.
Et le service de Stephen est plus que parfait.

Order was wrong, I have been a client there for many years, yet today for the first time, quality was very poor. Called the restaurant the inform them, the person I spoke with did not even offer to correct the mistake. The food ended up in the garbage, taste was awful. Will not order in the future.

Service rapide. Personnel souriant et courtois. Les champignons au beurre l’ail sont à tomber a terre, et que dire du général tao.juste le meilleur que j’ai jamais mangé. Juste une petite déception il avais pas assez de légumes et de variété de ceux-ci dans le général tao

On adore Ushi! On mange TRÈS BIEN! Les serveurs sont hiper sympas! Vraiment on y va souvent parce que c'est tellement bon. Pour ceux qui adorent le sushi vous aurez des énormes bateaux avec vos sélection! Et tu peux ramener ta bouteille!

Toujours aussi bon! J'adore la formule Bateau pour 2 personnes. Les sushis sont savoureux, accompagnés de leur sauce, il y même des sushi de Boeuf! Sinon en livraison c'est tout aussi bon. Même mes amis l'on découvert et y retournent.

Well located on Amherst street few minutes for metro Beaudry or Berri. Convient open hours for the weekend 11pm instead of 10pm like several places which is nice since it was past 10pm when I get in.
I ended up there after changing plans and I was gladly surprised. They had a table d'hôte available and also a share and individual menu. It's a BYOB place great for groups or solo dining. Service is quick and attentionate. Sushi was delicious, dressing on the salad too and good miso soup. The only thing I didn't quit enjoy was the size of the sushi way too big for one bite. I'm definitely going back with some friends this time.

Soooo good, fresh and delicious as always. We go very often and are never disappointed. Fast service too. Only negative is the sound in there, very noisy so you have to get accustomed.

Delicious sushi and a lot of it. My fault for not doing research, but this is a BYOB business and does not serve alcohol. I’ll know for next time. The sushi boat came with soup, salad, and more than enough variety sushi for 2 people!

Bel endroit. Un peu bruyant lorsqu'il y a des tables de 15 à 20 personnes en plein milieu de la salle à manger. Devrait penser à un meilleur aménagement ou ajouter des paravent pour briser le bruit. La personne à accueil à regarder la réservation mais au mot de bienvenu et nous a montrer la table de loin. C'est un point à travailler.

Rien à dire, tout était excellent et frais, l'anguille et la soupe miso était spécialement bonnes. J'ai apprécié qu'il y ait beaucoup de gingembre. Et service de livraison très rapide malgré les conditions météo.

Good and fast service. Food was just awesome. Last time I went was like 10 years ago and I think it's even gotten better now! Recommended without any hesitation
