Mon niveau d'espagnol a bien progressé:)

For a considerable number of years, teaching a foreign language was a part of my professional responsibilities. This is the background for these comments. I have taken two courses with Héctor Ramos: the first, a course to develop reading comprehension and knowledge of Mexican culture. The basis was Elena Poniatowska’s 70-page novel Quérido Diego, te abraza Quiela (70 pages) on Diego Rivera from the perspective of his abandoned wife. The second, “Voces fronterizas”, focused on listening comprehension. It examined some of the circumstances surrounding the flow of migrants from Central America through Mexico towards the US.
Using relevant authentic materials and a variety of activities, in both courses Héctor brilliantly stimulated discussion of the situations. He knows how to correct without interrupting the flow, how to show approval and disagreement in a positive manner, and how to create genuinely stimulating tasks. ¡Viva Héctor!

Unam is getting more regular courses without breaks which is very motivating. Hopefully the courses will not get interrupted as it happened alot in the past that suddenly for 9 months they couldn’t offer courses because of lack of students or professors. This was very un-motivating and I forgot almost everything. I am still studying here and will update my comments based on the situation of the school. Thanks

I am still student here but I really regret, this is ani-learning and anti-motivation place the courses are often cancelled and they are very badly organized, please don’t waste your money, time and energy. I think this place is only high rated by Mexicans coming to Ottawa!

Nice place to learn a language, teachers are very easy-going and they organize many activities.

Excellent premises; clean and up-to-date with technology. Parking is easy to find. A short drive from Ottawa.

It's a great place to learn English, French and Spanish. Also you can learn about the Mexican culture.
