C'est un peu cher pour ce que c'est. ATTENTION: Ils m'ont imposé un tips de 18% sur ma facture sans que je puisse choisir!

Je n'ai vraiment pas apprécié que la serveuse se permette de mettre 18% de pourboire sans validé avec moi avant. Surtout que je n'ai ni eu cafe ni ver d'eau

Vraiment bon, la seule chose négatif ils ont ajouté trop de table être nous étions trop tassé. Enlever quelques tables pour avoir de l'espace svp

We stayed at a nearby hotel and highly recommended having breakfast here. The breakfast here is far better than the hotel's, and we will come here every day during our stay. Also very child friendly.

Arrivé tôt le matin, j'ai été servi rapidement. Tout était très bon et le service agréable et les quantités genereuses je recommande grandement.

Very prompt and fast service, the waiter didn’t hover as we chatted for a bit and was within reach for any questions. Food was on time and pretty good too:) definitely my new fav spot

There was no table available, we waited for about 15 minutes. The food is delicious! I picked Benedict eggs with mushrooms and my husband the universal breakfast.

Worst experience probably ever at a restaurant. We waited an hour for our drinks and food, the Second I ate the eggs and ‘fake’ bacon, I immediately felt sick, I was sick in the washroom for 20 minutes. We tried speaking to a manager who reacted with a raised voice and attitude “theres no way you got sick from our food. It takes 24 hours to get sick, no one gets sick here” meanwhile I’m throwing up the food I just ate? The manager literally yelled at us. This was the craziest experience, no restaurant is like this, be careful visiting here.

Nice looking place with a huge menu selection. Didn't love or hate my food, and was priced well.

This place is always among our top choices for brunch since the food quality is great and the space is big enough that there isn’t a long lineup most of the time (the lineups move pretty fast if they have any). However, the past few times we came here, some waiters weren’t as friendly as before and the level of noise has gone really high. I understand most places are understaffed but this doesn’t justify the rudeness of some employees or the really loud noises coming from the kitchen area (they can still work quietly and don’t need to drop dishes on top of each other).
I really hope they fix these couple of issues because we’d love to continue going here!

I made a reservation on open table a week before and everything was confirmed. When I called the restaurant to let them know I was going to be a few minutes late- they said they didn't take reservations on Sundays? It was bizarre since I had a confirmation email. But we were still able to be seated and the food was great and our server was awesome.

Universal breakfast was really good! Loved the black coffee as well. They ensure your cup is full!

The food was okay. My mussels were VERY salty, but the owner (I think?) came to check on how the food was and was very humble when I explained it was very salty. I was happy to pay for the food, but be warned that the mussels are salty AF.

The service was okay. It seems like they may be understaffed due to the pandemic. It's your standard family style restaurant and for the most part, very reasonable prices.

It was an excellent breakfast. The restaurant is clean and organized also the waitresses are very welcoming.

Great place to have everything you want to eat! My favorite place for convenience. Staff is very friendly here compared to the other locations. Food is always delivered prompt and they don't rush you to finish when its busy.

Very many items on menu. Lots of eggs Benedict and other egg dishes. Large portions, include potatoes and fruit as sides. Not crowded at 10 on Saturday morning.

Excellent customer service and delicious food. I ordered the eggs Benny and could only eat about half of it, it was so filling. I was able to finish the leftovers after two separate occasions so I feel like it was great value since I got three meals out of one. The interior design is also absolutely stunning so it was a great atmosphere.

Super busy, loads of students, food was good! Typical brunch food. However, the customer service was excellent. Even though it was busy, the girls were on top of it! And this older guy brought our food and he was such a good sport, making jokes and making us laugh. Loved it.

So apparently there's two of these restaurants on the same road or around (I'm not aware of the area since I was visiting) the roast beef is amazing! The atmosphere was cool too and the music was very nice too- different from Toronto restaurants. The club sandwich was cool too.

Overpriced, poor quality, small amounts, asparagus was cut length wise in Benedictine to save on asparagus.

Based on pre-pandemic experience, we returned for breakfast and was disappointed with the quality of the food. The bacon I got was cold and hard and the English muffin in my husband's benedict order was so tough he couldn't cut it with the knife! Service was still as good as before.

Everyone was so sweet and attentive and Jimmy is what all managers should be like! Shihab (my awesome shooting star. SS) was super nice! Will be back for sure.to try their brunch. Thank you all!

Absolutely delicious breakfast. Great spot for brunch in Montreal. Generous portions of food. The staff was very friendly.

We tried the Banana hazelnut crepe, waffles with assorted fruits, universal breakfast. Even the home fries were so tasty. The combo comes with unlimited coffee.

The food was good but it really took a long time to be prepared.the waiters were friendly, the space was neat and clean. The ambiance in the place is really nice.

Amazing food and great service! Everyone is so kind and they always stop by and check on you to make sure you have everything definitely recommend if you’re in Montreal.

I found a hair in my plate I called the waitress to tell her the only response she said: at least it’s not my hair!
She has a blond hair and the one in the plate was black!

The food was great and there is so much choice on the menu. The good thing is that you can choose between the regular menu or the brunch so everyone is happy.

Service mediocre, food is fine, first time trying, will go back other time as i ordered from supper menu when they were just finishing brunch on a sunday afternoon.

Food was ok. Nothing exceptional. Better than box standard breakfast.

Great atmosphere, yummy food and milkshakes. A bit pricey but the ambience makes up for it.

Location to our hotel couldn’t have been better! Lots of options to choose from and the service was so fast, and the food was well portioned and delicious!

I LOVE this place, their breakfast is amazing, it always busy there which goes to show how great the food is. Staff are cool too, very friendly!

My boyfriend and I had an amazing breakfast there. I had the healthy omelet and he had the bacon and Swiss cheese omelet. Both were delicious! 
 They also provide some jellies, peanut butter, and honey, which allowed us to finalize with a PB&J sandwich.:)

Diner style place as part of a hotel. I got the breakfast poutine and it was delicious. Also the strawberry mimosa was something I'd definitely get again.

Universal breakfast tasted good. Service was also prompt and our table was attended to at all times.

Used to be my favourite restaurant in Montreal, but then they hiked the prices for many things and removed 2 of the best items on their menu - bolognese pizza and club pizza. It is still ok.

Affordable prices. Great food. Best eggs benedict my friend ever had. Lots of seating. Friendly servers. Great decor and central location

Oh man, this place did not disappoint. I debated not going all morning cause it was cold out and the walk was kinda far, but I'm so glad I toughed it out. The food was delicious! Yummy breakfast place!

On est allés souper pour la fête d'une amie. À la fin, le serveur est venu nous réclamer en disant "ah c'est parce qu'il y en a qui m'ont pas tipé. " parce que l'une d'entre nous ne lui avait pas donné du pourboire pour une facture d'à peine 25$. En plus, Il ne se rappelait pas de la commande de l'une de mes amies et n'est jamais venu nous voir pour voir si tout était à notre goût quand le restaurant était pratiquement vide.jamais vu un serveur aussi arrogant pour 3$. Jamais je retournerais à cette place. Première et dernière.

The food at universal dejeuners et grillades is delicious! Everything tastes fresh and cooked to perfection. They also have a big selection of dishes with unique additions such as goat cheese or gruyere on eggs benedict. I also really appreciated the drink menu of milkshakes, fresh smoothies, juices and more. The atmosphere was a big packed but very modern. Would definitely recommend!

I don't understand any of the reviews below.
The service was good but that was it.
We ordered pizza, caesar salad, fish and chips and a steak.
The pizza was terrible, the caesar salad was not fresh and had a strange smell. The fish and chips looked like they had been fried in very old oil. I don't think that they change the oil often because the fries were almost dirty brown color and very greasy. So was the fish.
The steak was undercooked and had a strange after taste. We barely had any of the food but still felt sick with heart burn and a slight stomach ache.
So I don't understand why this place got the reviews that it did. I would avoid this place.
