I visited "The Uplands" in Sherbrooke today, and I must say it's a remarkable place. The Uplands Cultural and Heritage Centre, set on the historic Uplands estate dating back to 1862, offers a fascinating journey into the history and cultural traditions of Lennoxville (Sherbrooke) and its region through a diverse cultural program. The experience was enriching, and I would gladly give it a 5-star review. If you're in Sherbrooke, don't miss the opportunity to explore this cultural gem!

Its just a one time experience. The snacks and tea are just average. If you guys are going with an infant then make sure he/she doesn't thrown anything on the floor (basically the enfant should be well trained hahah) otherwise the waitress will make very bad faces. To me she even told that we dont want to clean the floor so please don’t let her throw anything (she was eating and a piece of bread fell from her mouth). Really spoiled my tea experience and needed to leave early because i felt offended.

Cute area. High Tea experience was all right and I suppose pretty great for those without prior experiences to set expectations. Don't expect an assortment of teas or for them to know what kind of black tea is being offered. Their Devonshire cream/clotted cream contains sour cream, vanilla and sugar - tasty, but far from traditional. The assortment of food was lacking in protein.
Friends who'd never experienced High Tea before thoroughly enjoyed themselves. All in all, it's a nice enough way to spend a summer afternoon in the area.

It's an experience to do once. Once you arrive, you are invited to pick your cup, so I suggest arriving early for more choice.
The high tea experience is pretty standard, they do feature edible flowers and mint from their garden for which they hire a full time gardener. The tea from the first pot wasn't strong enough. The second pot they brought was good. You may need to remind them to bring more milk and lemon.
You can find more interesting high tea offerings in Montreal for the price, but you go to Uplands to relax, enjoy nature (it was ~25C and sunny when we visited) and history.
I wish the garden featured more edible landscaping and variety of plants despite the small plot. It's well maintained nonetheless.
The staff checks in to make sure everything is okay and know fun facts about the place, but engage a bit more in conversation with older francophone patrons.
