Venus Fleurs

Woke up early this morning planing to take some sunrise photos around Montreal but the weather wasn't cooperating. Drove past this quaint little florist and stopped to buy a couple of roses for my sleeping wife and because I saw the owner outside cleaning the shop's awnings. Even though the store wasn't officially open for another hour, the owner said I could go inside and purchase something. Thanks, (Johnny?), for being so nice and accommodating. My wife enjoyed the surprise very much, too.

Received the most beautiful bouquet from my friend. The flowers are still fresh after one week.

Went there to order wreaths for my grandma’s funeral and the gentleman there was quite helpful and accommodating.
I was worried that the wreaths would not come out as nice as expected but they were beautiful!
Service was great and pricing was fair…actually a lot more affordable than some other places I’ve checked out.

J'y suis allée récemment et j'ai été reçue par un homme souriant, avenant, à l'écoute et de bon conseil. J'ai eu un service professionnel, attentif et sympathique. Tellement que j'y suis retournée 3 fois dans la même semaine et j'ai décidé d'en faire "mon fleuriste officiel" tant j'ai été ravie de mon expérience. J'y retourne cette semaine et le charmant monsieur n'y était pas. À la place, il y a plusieurs autres employés, m'ignorant ou me faisant sentir que je dérange ou que je suis dans le chemin. Je n'ai pas eu de salutations, de service, de "si vous avez des questions, je suis là". J'ai fait 4 fois le tour en attendant qu'on ait une minute pour moi, puis j'ai posé une question à un monsieur qui m'a répondu à la va-vite. Je suis allée à la caisse avec mes achats et j'ai attendu plusieurs minutes qu'on daigne venir me faire payer mais personne ne venait alors j'ai fini par partir et aller acheter mes plantes sur Bernard. C'est décevant. Si le souriant monsieur était là en permanence, j'y achèterais les plantes pour tout mes clients car j'aime bien le choix et les prix, mais je n'ai certainement pas envie d'encourager un commerce qui fait sentir les clients comme "de trop".
UPDATE: J'y suis retournée et le service était très bien. J'ai revisé mes étoiles à la hausse.

I am speechless!
I had a problem with a bouquet and running late to an event so I went to many florists asking for help but they all refused and some of them were even rude!

The person at Venus is such a gentleman that he understood my problem and accepted to help me.

But my excellent experience did not end there.

Before my eyes, the person transferred my hideous bouquet into a beautiful one! It was like watching something magical.

I tried to pay him but he refused!

He smiled and said: " I won't make you pay twice for your bouquet. "

I am so glad to have met such a talented and good person.

Un vaste choix de plantes et de fleurs de bonne qualité! J'ai été très bien accueilli et on m'a donné des conseils pour chaque achats. J'y retournerai c'est certain.

We had our daughter's wedding in August and want to make her tanle setting. Venus helped me with all the flowers.

The staff is really rude and they sold me a 60$ plant that was infected which died 2 weeks latter. They kept it a secret that the plant was infected. I would not recommend this shop
