I just attended this clinic for an ultrasound. At the time of my appointment they took me in right away, the technician was kind and took the time to explain everything to me. Would 100% recommend.

Very bad service. They say they are close at 14: 00, in reality they are not closed they just don't answer the phone but may make outside calls. The radiologist Amina wasted my visit by performing the correct protocol and then decided to do the wrong procedure protocol and stated that she has no experience which went against any logic and she is the main technicien based on what the reception told me. When I went to the reseption. The receptionist told me that they don't perform mri on humerus, which they confirmed that they did before I got there on multiple recorded phone calls. WHEN I asked for a letter that would explain this failure on their part they refused to give it to me. It has been multiple weeks now and they have not sent the mri report that I did on my left knee.and they are not answering phone calls I left recently. So they got paid and did not provide any service ; performing the procedure and not producing a report is still considered no service

I have a Urgent Ultrasound requisition and appointment but Receptionist refused to do ultrasound because she could not read doctors name on req and would not call to find out doctors name! She was so rude and refused to help in any way! Would not under any circumstance recommended this clinic!

Called on Tuesday morning, emailed my requisition and had my my open bore MRI scan the next morning.
Price was cheaper than downtown clinics ($665 for shoulder).
Amina was my technician and she was super helpful as I'm claustrophobic. She let me move in and out of the scanner in order to get a feel of the size and be comfortable. Classical music was offered to help me relax.
The whole experience was very pleasant, from everyone I encountered. Highly recommend.

Très bonne expérience. L'endroit est propre, la réceptionniste avait un sourire dans la voix, et celle qui m'a fait l'échographie, madame Azam, a été très professionnelle, polie, empathique et gentille. Le seul bémol est le stationnement (trop peu de places pour le nombre d'utilisateurs). Sinon, je vous recommande cette clinique et surtout madame Azam.

It was an excellent experience. Easy appointment, fast service, friendly receptionist, gentle ultrasound technician. Modern and neat facility. Perfect!

My comments are re the nursing services at 4080 boul des Sources. I booked an appointment for Shingrix vaccine and was advised only as the needle was going in my arm that severe reactions could be experienced. No one warned me of this when making the appointment. Unaware of this I had already made several commitments the following day, a couple of which could not be cancelled. I was very, very sick from the vaccine. I made the appointment for my booster at the same time and realized the following day I had a conflict so immediately called to change the time. The day of the appointment I receive a call at the original time I had booked asking where I was. There was no record of the time being changed. When I received the booster I was told that I must wait 2 weeks before getting my Covid booster. In speaking to my GP this is not correct as there is no waiting period required between the 2 vaccines. So while the nurses and staff were all very pleasant, this clinic is very disorganized, misinformed and did not leave me with the impression that they knew what they were doing. Go elsewhere where you'll receive professional care.

The team at Via Medica is very professional and caring. The appointment are done on time and the technician explains in detail the procedure and make you feel at ease. Angie will go out of her way to help you. Thank you everyone.

Receptionist need more training in being kind and patient.if you could get a proper check up else where I highly recommend, its not worth the heartbreak

Technicienne pour echo nul et très froide elle ne parle même pas aux patients une personne très froide pas accueillante ni rassurante et partage rien de ce qu'elle voit. Bref mauvaise expérience j'avais l'impression que l'impression que je suis venu pour rien

C'est vraiment pas gentil que vous mettez sur votre site officiel que les soins infirmiers se donnent de 9h jusqu'à 15h30 j'ai fait tout un trajet via les bus pour faire un test et finalement la réception me disait que l'infirmière a quitté le poste à 15h00 je parle votre siège 4080 boulevard les sources vous êtes pas professionnel du tout

The worse experience I had in my entire life. The technician was rude, wasn’t giving me any information on my ultrasound unless I was asking questions. She basically told me I could have a miscarriage. Never ever going back there. Didn’t feel like she cared whatsoever and didn’t even take the time to reassure me. You would pay me to go back, I wouldn’t.

I agree 100% with Justin Parker review. Had app for a Tuesday morning for ultrasound. Got a call asking me to reschedule the appointment bc the technician wasn’t going to be in on that day. Took new app for the following Monday. Get a call Sunday evening confirming my app for Monday 1pm. On the way there I call to confirm address. On hold for about 10 mins and I explain I am just outside but wanted to confirm address. She asked when my app time was and then said that the technician left. I said why would she leave if my app is at 1pm? ! She had no answer, was confused. I proceeded to go inside and she said they would give me another appointment for tomorrow. I was livid. I had to reschedule and take time off work twice now and I was not going to come back the next day all the way from Chateauguay. She tried to see if she can get another technician to see me but said that this technician was “running late” and there were 2 people ahead of me and that it would be about an hour wait. Unacceptable. I read bad comments about this place and they are all true. Stay away. Unprofessional, lost and confused, disorganized.

Went to get an EKG for my kid. No wait, service was impeccable. The nurse was so nice and described every single thing she was doing.

Absolutely would use them again. Affordable even without insurance but I'm lucky to have a great one.

Stay away. The incompetency is incredible. Multiple secretaries that don't speak to each other and lose your file. Since you will be moving within multiple clinics here this will happen often. When an error has occurred on their side they do nothing to fix the issue, you are on your own. We had an ultra sound booked were on the list for the day but yet they did not see us. We had to do all the trouble shooting ourselves and figure out what happened (error was on the booking side of the clinic). Zero initiative or help from the secretaries. Parking is also a huge issue at this clinic. Stay away, it's not worth the stress or hassle.

I went for an ultrasound of my kidneys, stomach and groin due to a kidney infection and the almost constant pain in two regions of my abdomen. The technician (Tatiana) was absolutely amazing. Once I described what was going on we decided to also do my ovaries, which saved me a trip to the gynecologist (not to mention the delay!). Tatiana explained every step to me and was very kind. I cannot say how lucky I am to have gone here for my ultrasound. The service is above and beyond!

I was a client of Via Medica since 2010. Since they moved locations to merge with Brunswick Medical, their service has deteriorated rapidly. I guess they don’t need my money anymore as they actually told me the following last week concerning a breast ultrasound follow up appointment: “we are not accepting new patients so you will have to call somewhere else”. I stated that I have been a patient with them for over a decade and the receptionist couldn’t come up with a good excuse to refuse me after that but stood her ground that I couldn’t use their service. This was told to me AFTER she had previously instructed me to go see my doctor to get a new requisition since mine had “expired” after 12 months. I bothered my doctor, got a new requisition, sent it in, only for them to refuse me! So all West Islanders looking for MRI & Ultrasound appointments without nonsense, please go to IRM Sud-Ouest clinic. I called, they accepted my old requisition and I got an appointment within 3 weeks! Oh and the receptionist at IRM was an absolute darling!

I had a horrible technician (Jessica) who mentioned all these problems she was seeing in my scans and when I asked for more information, she said "I am not a doctor so I cannot tell you. " WHAT? Height of unprofessionalism to scare people. If you are not legally permitted to share the information, then DO NOT share the information. Do not open your mouth and then try to cover your tracks. Avoid this place. Radimed is much better.

Je comprends qu'il y a la Covid mais ce n'est pas une excuse pour au moins accuser réception et retourner l'appel ce que la majorité font.
Manque de respect et de professionalisme. Quelle belle façon de traiter ses clients!

À éviter cette clinique, j'en ai fait deux IRM, la lecture des images n'est pas agréable et compatible avec ce que le médecin demande, c'est loin d’être des professionnels.le service par téléphone est nul, il faut se déplacer pour chercher les rapports. On explique tout au technicien en radiologie, mais malheureusement le patient et ses demandes ne sont jamais pris en considération. Par contre la clinique oui elle est trop propre.

Went today with my daughter for ultrasound, I think her name was Sylvie. She was so super with us, so friendly, and happy. Was a pleasure. The receptionist was pleasant also.

Pathetic institution. Cancelled 2 appointments in a row. The second one 40 minutes before the appointment. Then when we finally had our appointment, the technician was extremely rude, unfriendly and impatient. Because of these cancellations, the report had to be done within 24 business hours. We stressed to them that it had to be done in this time, because they are the ones that brought our appointment so close to the doctor's appointment that needs there report. They said they would put a rush on it and it would be done. We went to the doctor, and the report was not done. You'd think a private place like this would be better. I highly suggest you stay away from these incompetent people. Just check the other negative reviews. Their long and defensive replies just show how aggressive these people are. Stop making excuses!

Sent by email my request. No Phone call To confirm appointment still 4 days later. It was a great place but service is declining. I wonder.

Quite and clean place. Stuff are very friendly and smiling spontaneously. You feel comfortable and respected if you visit this place for imaging testing. Although you don't meet a medical doctor, the technician on-site is a friendly and experienced lady. State of the art equipments are utilized. Warm decoration at reception. What is particularly special at this medical center is the existence of a kitchenette near the reception where you can self service yourself with hot beverages and treats. The kitchenette was bigger in the past and there were more varieties to serve you and make you feel home. A very smart way to distract you from stress. Parking is easy and spaces are almost always available. The center is accessible by wheelchairs. If this review was helpful to you please like it. Thank you.

Excellent experience. The front desk team was helpful and the technician, Élodie, who did the CT scan was so kind and professional. She made a nerve wracking experience as pleasant as possible. A really delightful person. The results were sent to my doctor in Ontario within a day.

Stay away if at all possible! 2 weeks after an accident and xrays showing nothing, I had a CT scan done of my left hand at Via Medica. They reported that here was nothing wrong. I was then referred to a hand surgeon by my Dr but because the CT showed no fracture I was a low priority and was put on a waiting list at the hand clinic. My finger was getting worse, not better. Through persistence and good friends I was able to see another radiologist who asked me to get a copy of both the xray and CT scan I already had done. The CT scan that was done at Via Medica showed a break and ligament damage. Part of the bone had come away from the finger and was floating. Unfortunately because at this point it had been 8 weeks, it had already been healing in the wrong position. I am neither able to straighten my finger or bend it completely. It is my index finger on my dominant hand. The pain is constant and to this day it is still very swollen. I see a hand surgeon tomorrow to see if it is operable to repair the large amount of damage that missing this has already caused. It is 2 months tomorrow that I had the accident. 2 months of bone and tissue build up in the wrong places. If it had been read properly by a competent Dr then I would have been able to see a surgeon right away and it could have been fixed in a timely manner. Now I just hope that it is operable so that I have use of my hand again.

The girls at the front desk were very nice and so were the technicians but I would much prefer rude clerical and technical staff and competent medical staff if its a trade off.

I must say that I was a little surprised when I read a couple of bad reviews. I had the best service a this clinic. When I went to book an MRI, I got an appointment the exact same day 1hour later. The secretaries were kind and polite and the MRI technician was very nice. I need an ultrasound and got that for the week after. Well Sylvie, the ultrasound technician was soooo kind, and gentle. Really explaining everything and NOT treating me like an number instead of a human being with worries. She took the time to talk and tell me what she was doing what she was looking at and discussing my worries. She was awesome. My results for both the MRI and the ultrasound were back to my doctor’s office within 1 day!

The secretaries are rude and unhelpful. I called to see if it was possible to move my appointment somewhere else in the day, the secretary didn’t even try to check the system and firmly said NO.
Then I went in and said I had an appointment and if I needed to give my medical called. She said to wait.it was a simple yes or no answer. So I waited patiently for her to then turn to me and said yes. What a joke!

Unbelievably horrible and ridiculous service. We took whole morning off (no work and no school) and came all the way from DT Montreal to this clinic for the confirmed appointment but was told they made a mistake and the ultrasound doctor for kids was off and need to come back next Monday. For this stupid mistake made by a so-called professional private clinic, we even cancelled the appointment of the same date offered by the Montreal Children's Hospital and had to see our kid continue to suffer from the continuous abdominal pain. They kept us waiting for one hour without a solution until we started and continue to yell at them and request to see their boss to file a complaint. They even thought of transferring us to another clinic located in DT Montreal. Finally they unwillingly assigned another doctor to do the ultrasound for our kid and said the report would come out the following Monday. We bitterly regret having chosen such a terrible clinic with disorganized staff for my kid's urgent problem. Still worried about whether their report is accurate and uncertain about when they can send the report to our doctor. They even said we'd have to come back to this awful place if we need to get another copy of the report from them. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT NO WAY TO GET THE REPORT BY MAIL, EMAIL OR PHONE? NO INITIATIVE TO REMEDY THEIR MISTAKE. HONESTLY, PATIENT'S TIME JUST MEANS NOTHING IN THEIR EYES!

Poor service: Incredibly rude administrative staff. Just as a precaution, I asked to confirm that my test results would be sent to the right doctor at the right address. I was dismissed and told that obviously they would be sent to the address on the requisition. Of course, a few weeks later, I get a call from a clinic in Boisbriand (which I have never had any interaction with - I have never even been to Boisbriand.) informing me that they were confused to receive my test results as I had never been a patient there. Not only did ViaMedica circulate my confidential medical information to a random clinic, but they also dismissed my attempt to ensure nothing of the sort occurred. However, my technician was wonderful and thorough. She took her time and explained the procedures to me, and made an effort to ensure I felt comfortable.

The staff were very efficient and caring. The ultrasound technician was particularly attentive. The facilities were very clean and comfortable for patients.

Neat, welcoming.that did not stop them from keeping me 45 minutes to wait. I got really mad and they finally stirred. Once inside, the ladies at the MRI were fantastic!

I did my first MRI there today and was impressed with their availability, service and price. The receptionist was very polite and accommodating, the MRI specialist Stefania was professional, friendly and very kind. Let's hope that they will deliver the results to my GP by Tuesday as promised.
