Ma fille a acheté une Golf usagée. Le vendeur voulait lui charger $400 de « frais administratifs ». On lui a dit que c’était illégal.mais elle récupère son auto et elle n’a ni de tapis d’été ni de tapis d’hiver. Est ce là leur technique pour récupérer leurs frais administratifs? Disons que je ne suis pas très impressionné par un tel service.

The receptionist was so helpful and kind. We arrived after hours to drop off the keys to our car since we won’t be able to drop it off in the morning. Not only did the receptionist stay to collect the keys, they kindly offered us tea and coffee while we waited for our taxi. Simple act of excellent customer service - but made a genuine human impact. EXCELLENT SERVICE!

I love Volkswagen, but I also love customer service, responsiveness and good energy/attitude. Do yourself a favor and go to a different branch. Laval, St-Laurent and Vaudreuil are not too far and the service is so much better.

I’m writing to vent my frustrations with Volkswagen de Source here in the West Island of Montreal.
I had a appointment for 7 AM this morning to change my tires, so I figure I would bring it in the night before so that I could be ahead of the game.
I specifically wrote on the Work Sheet needed before Noon has I have a business trip planed.
Called this morning (11: 00 AM) and the car was not ready. The young lady proceeded to tell me that people in the waiting room get priority.
So what is the point of having a appointment if your slot does not matter. She then tells me when you drop off your car means that you get it back by 5 PM
I had clearly mark needed by Noon!
Please in future try to respect other peoples commitments.
My business trip now in jeopardy.
Do not recommend the Dealership.

I have never left a bad review in my life, on the contrary I like leaving positive reviews. However, I need to share my experience. On August 7th, I was driving on the 40 West highway when a big piece of metal from a truck landed on the front middle of my car. I was in shock as it was near death experience. I got towed to Volkswagen Sources and they looked me in the eye, a vulnerable customer after an accident, and said they would take care of my car. The appraiser (insurance) said it is a 5-6 day repair, and Volkswagen said it could take 2 weeks because their schedule is busy and they need to fit me in a time slot. Completely understandable. The next week I got no update regarding my car and sent an email, but no answer. I called, no answer and left a voicemail. No call back ever. I called back a week later and finally reached Megan. I asked if they ordered my parts, when could my car be looked at etc. "ummmm we have your parts ya I ordered them Monday" I notified and authorized Megan to order the parts the previous Friday at 7am (3 days earlier). So I confirmed with her if the parts were there, but then she said "actually they're not here yet". I then ask when my car could be looked at and then I'm told "technically September but I'm 99% sure it will be before then. " This was different than what I was originally told, but again I trusted her and Volkswagen, and said ok.
One week later I call back for an update, at this point they've had my car for 2.5 weeks with no updates at all. I ask again when my car repairs will start or if there's updates as I'm a student and need it desperately. Soon my insurance will not be able to cover my car rental and it will be out of pocket. Again, I was given very vague answers. I finally pressed for a specific time and finally "Well the earliest time slot is October 23rd". I couldn't believe what I had heard. This was never communicated with me. I was first told 2 weeks then September and now end of October. I never would have left my car there if I had knew. I immediately called my insurance and had my car towed to another auto shop. When I went to pick up my keys, I had told a worker that it wasn't right how dishonest they were with me and that this was already a stressful situation for me. The worker then replied "Wait they never told you we were full until end of October? They didn't tell you that day? " I understand that this is a business, but I can't believe how you can look someone in the eye after an accident, when they're vulnerable, and debatably lie to them to get their business. Such lack of empathy, and such dishonesty.

Très mauvaise expérience d'achat pour une voiture usagée.

D'abord. Le conseiller en retard pour le rendez-vous de plus de 30 minutes. Pour finalement demander à être "servi" par un autre conseillé, sans quoi je serai encore là à attendre.

Ensuite. La voiture n'était pas conforme à l'annonce, entreposée dans un piteux état (brisée et endommagée) au sous-sol d'un garage sale qui fait office de salle de montre.

Près de trois heures perdue avec l'allé-retour, alors que j'avais mentionné plus tôt lors de la prise de rendez-vous, ma provenance au dit conseiller. Celui-ci qui aurait du s'informer de la situation (état) du véhicule pour me le communiquer d'abord et avant tout.

Enfin. Beaucoup de temps, d'énergie et de frustration auraient été évités. Manque complètement de professionnalisme. Je déconseille à tous cet endroit.

J ai été pour une intervention sur ma jetta aujourd'hui. Mr Ali qui s occupe du Service était super pro-actif, il a pris les choses en main et fixer mon problème dans les 5 minutes qui suivaient.
Un vrai bon employé qui mérite d être reconnu pour ses services.

Je fais une mise à jour de notre expérience avec ce concessionnaire.
Je dois féliciter la rapidité à nous contacter lorsqu'ils ont vu le premier review. Il est évident que ceci a allumé des alarmes et nous sommes contents que les responsables tiennent à cœur l'image de leur succursale et aussi la satisfaction client.
Je ferais une mise à jour de mon review lors de notre prochaine visite que j'espère ne sera pas si tôt!

I purchased my new car from VW Des Sources, dealt with Amber Sharp who was so lovely, kind, patient.

I was definitely a bit hard to deal with with my thousands of questions and looking at every car being very picky haha. Amber was incredibly patient with me, answered all my questions clearly, gave me quotes on various different cars. She really took her time to work with me. Couldn't have asked for a better experience:)

Just had my car sold to me by Francois. After looking in this market for a long time, I was pleased to have finally landed on a salesman that was frank and honest with me about what I was buying. We had to take our Jetta in twice in the past couple of weeks for some repairs. The first rep we consulted with was Pascal and Ali the second rep early today. Both greeted us warmly and professionally, it’s strange to say that going to the shop to get work done on the car was a pleasant one. We were consulted on what work needed to be done and given options. They were honest and had our best interest.
We needed to leave our car overnight both times and used their shuttle service to bring us home. The driver was punctual, professional and courteous. The car was fixed at the estimated time. The technicians did great work on the repairs and I left the dealership completely satisfied with my experience with the team at Volkswagen Des Sources.

Matt est le meilleur représentant des ventes (directeur des voitures neuves) que j'ai rencontré et fait affaire chez VW. J'en ai fait plusieurs concessionnaires, et Matt, demeurait toujours celui qui était le plus transparent, le plus rapide et le plus clair dans les discussions et dans la proposition de l'offre. Avec lui, on ne perd pas notre temps. Pas de bla, bla, bla. En plus, c'est lui qui offrait le plus pour mon véhicule d'échange. J'ai été très satisfait de ses services professionnels et suivis! J'y retournerai sans hésiter et je lui donnerais 4.5 étoiles sur 5. Merci pour tout, Matt! Au plaisir de te revoir!

Worst experience! I negociate with them in april for a new car and we had a deal and everything was clear. 2 months later in june, they call me saying the car was delivered and you can come get it. Few minutes later, the sales director calls me to say that we can't respect the deal we had in april because the employee made a mistake. He showed zero empathy and was not willing to collaborate. He wanted to give the car to another customer. I will clearly escalate that yo protection des consommateurs.seriously don't deal with this car dealership if you don't want to be disappointed.

Alex was so helpful with getting me a used car. Couldn't recommend him enough. He even included replacing all the rotors/pads at no cost to me before handing over the car. From start to finish Alex was knowledgable and always followed up with any of my requests for more information, and always returned my phone calls and texts. He even picked me up at the metro station when I was going to pick up the car. Honestly very impressed with Volkswagen Des Sources.

In early April, I came in to test drive a 2016 Honda HR-V. Drive went well, summer tires were in the backseat, I decided to buy the car with Alex. I paid full asking price and was told I could come pick it up the following weekend and it would be fully cleaned and ready for delivery.

I picked up my car, and backseats were still folded down since now the winter tires were in the backseat (they had changed them over for delivery). I came home and unloaded the tires to find the backseat completely covered in disgusting mold (see pictures). I called Alex and was told to bring the vehicle back for a full detail and this was normal when they washed a vehicle and the seats were put back down before it was fully dried.

When I went to bring the car back i spoke with Alex and Matt, who still tried to pass off that the car was cleaned and the mold I saw was growth over 36hrs - IMPOSSIBLE, i had been lied to and they could not take ownership. To make matters worse Alex admitted he knew there was mold on the passenger seat when I took delivery, knowing I would be transporting my 2 year old daughter in the car.
The only 2 solutions I was presented with was an offer to swap out all the seats with those from a 2021 Honda HR-V, or give me my money back. I told Alex flat out I do not trust you or the dealership, and took my money back. I asked Alex during our conversation about swapping the seats to find me another Honda HR-V knowing the group owns a Honda dealership right down the street and his response was "how and when do you want me to do that".
As a customer, it was clear this dealership does not care about our experience or our safety. I was appalled by the biohazard they felt was acceptable to sell, im pretty sure they have violated some covid laws by not decontaminating a sold good during our day and age.
The only saving grace to this horrific experience was the courtesy driver Roman who drove me home after.

I have brought my car here, to the service department, several times and gotten impeccable service, until today. I spoke to Ja and Julia in the service department. They were both extremely rude, unhelpful loaded with attitude. I did not get the feeling that my car will be well taken care of.

Would recommend this place for servicing and maintenance, Andrei was helpful, very nice and patient. My car lost tire pressure (and shacked a lot on highway) at the beginning of a long (600KM) trip and was towed to this dealer, he helped me arrange the checking and alignment and some other calibration. Price is fair, very efficient (not like other dealers I’ve seen in Ontario). I’ll maybe come here to do my next maintenance

I have had 3 Santa Fe’s in a row and was ready for a change. I found this 2018 Tiguan vehicle via their site and decided to go to their dealership to further investigate. I was greeted by George Kaklamanos, and the experience was flawless from start to the end. George is very knowledgeable about the various products and was able to make this transaction very smooth. I have had the vehicle for couple weeks now and it certainly has exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend George to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle at this dealership.

We came to see Alex for a 2017 Tiguan. Everything was fine, price was negotiated, Alex promised to fix the small scratches and the broken rim on the side mirror. Came in to pick up the vehicle and the mirror was not fixed, the scratches untouched, and the price was not what was negotiated earlier. Luckily we had a printed out sheet with the price from the previous visit so that was corrected quickly. While we were waiting, they "fixed" the scratches with a generic pen and it made it worse than before. Big globs of raised, matte paint freckled all over the vehicle. I wasn't expecting the scratches to be fixed this way and didn't think we had to ask how it was going to be done. The mirror was not fixed and Alex said he ordered the wrong part. Okay, then perhaps he should have informed us before we arrived and we would have come in when everything was done. Rather than having to return again. It was a Friday and he said on Monday he will have the new part. You have 48 hours to cancel a contract by the way. One week later, and a couple of follow up calls/texts with him, still no replacement mirror. I would recommend anyone going in to always have these negotiations written down. Experience was disappointing.

I had a very bad experience with the service department years ago when I brought in my VW golf TDI for a simple problem and was told I had all sorts of other problems, which my mechanic later showed me I didn't have! Had I not been so busy at that time I would have reported them to consumer protection!
In my recent search for the car I wanted, I found one at that same dealer. I was hesitant about buying from this dealer thinking I would just have a look.
The sales person was Alex, he was helpful and knowledgeable. He changed my opinion of buying from this dealer. His after sales service was also excellent.
I'm hoping the people in the service department have changed for the better. If it weren't for my awful experience in the past, I would have now given 5 stars.
Keep up the good work Alex, you're worth your weight in gold stars.

I was very satisfied he managed to find solutions to everything he called me to let me know how it was going. Definitely buying another car there as soon as i finish paying my 2019. I didn’t receive a survey yet which i was not happy with cause i would of given a 5.

Walked in wanting to buy a new Jetta high line of the same year in white, white grey, or black and the sales guy literally laughed in my face and said “good luck finding one” and didn’t make room to let me walk in further than the entrance. Went to Volkswagen Vaudreuil the same day; purchased exactly what I wanted the following day. Thanks for the service guys

Had an appointment on June 30th at 9: 30 and it was the service manager who had made it when I had him experience a rattle coming from the driver grip handle (above the door). He said that it would take 20-30 minutes to replace the handle. I was there at 9: 30 and had to wait until 11: 45 before my car was ready. The service manager somehow did not have the replacement handle and after being told that they didn't have the part and that they would make another appointment, I expessed my frustration (politely) and the service manager told me that they would take a handle off a new car (which was not at your facility) and they would install it in my car. I had to cancel an appointment I had at 10: 45 and felt that I had wasted my time because of his error. When my car was ready, I told him that I was not very positive about the start of a long term relationship with your service department. This is the second time, I have had a problem with the service department. My new car had a scratch in the front passenger window and I was told that VW des Sources would order a new one to replace it. I waited about 6 weeks and not getting a call from your staff, I called to check if the new window had arrived. I had to leave a telephone message with the service consultant. Not getting a call back the next day, I call a second time and I was promised a call back, which I got. I mentioned that the new window would have to be tinted (service I paid for on my sale contract) at the time of installation. When I met with the service consultant on June 17th, I asked if they had arranged for the tinting of the window. He said that he had not been advised but would contact the jobber to try to have it done the same day (which he managed to organize). I have difficulty understanding, one why he was not informed by the telephone person because I had specifically mentioned the tint job needed to be done at the same time as the installation of the new window, and second, I bought the car from your dealership, my file is with you and first work order, the tinting is mentioned.

Came looking for a used Tiguan. Sadly they didn't have any in my budget but the salesman Mena was fantastic. He's extremely welcoming and understanding. I can tell he was very honest and he wanted to get me a car that fit my budget. Despite a deal not being signed, I gladly appreciate his service. Definitely see Mena for any needs with Volkswagen.

Worst experience for my first car. I had an appointment today at 11: 30 AM to see a 2016 Volkswagen Jetta. When I reached there, I asked the reception and he told me to wait as all agents were busy. I waited for like 30 minutes and asked reception again and he told me that everyone was busy and you should come back later (I am not free that I will come back anytime you like! I was running on tight schedule). Some of the agents were taking coffee break in between and I was just wasting my time there. I drove like 30 minutes and wasted another 30 minutes back. Very very disappointed. I would never purchase anything from you guys as you are ignoring me before even purchasing a car. So never going back to this dealership again!

Bought my first car there. Certified pre-owned with 32000km on it. A year later (38K km) I get a leak on my turbo and need to replace it. 3000$ job. No explanation as to why it happened, I just got "unlucky" is what they told me. Makes me doubt the quality of the service there since that's where the previous owner serviced the car. Also couldn't tell me if I could keep driving the car or not "I can't tell you what to do. " Very unresponsive, service department rarely picks up the phone and never returns phone calls or emails. VW Canada offered no financial help either. People on site are friendly but there is clearly no desire to go above and beyond. They do the bare minimum.

*EDIT: the diagnosis (that cost me 150$) was wrong. I went to another mechanic for a 2nd opinion that took the time to check what was wrong and changed the turbo to see if it was actually that. It was a sensor issue that cost me 400$ instead of 3000$.

Terrible service. Never once was I called back when trying to book an appointment! Five times so far. Again, called twice on August 12,2020, left a message for a call back. No call back, Tried again on the 13th. Got a call back, girl put me on hold! Ended up on some ones V-Mail. Still waiting. Do not deserve to stay in Business. Last time this happened, service manager said to come and see him. Showed up, receptionist went to get him, explained to him why I was there; he had no clue. Did not waste my time. Maybe the problem is there.

Warning, they are scammers, So, I have a 2014 Tiguan, I had the check engine light on, so I decided to make my verification at Volkswagen Des Sources, the Verification cost me 516.23$, they told me that the Turbocharger wastegate is finished and I have to buy a new one (a new Turbocharger), total cost will be exactly 4 458.10$, so I searched for a mechanic specialized in German cars in Montreal, he just used some lubricant to free the wastegate and it cost me 306.51, after a month, my car is just perfect and I got back the acceleration.

PS.the mechanic told me that he had another case, who had the same issue as me, Volkswagen told him to buy a new Turbocharger.

I have visited VW des Sources several times (4-5 times) in the last 2-3 weeks mostly for parts at the service counter. The service here is unmatched compared to any other dealer in the Montreal area. Their service is quick and efficient and you leave there feeling taken care of. Will be returning for more parts in the future and to service our other VW as well.

I bought 4 new tires. Steering wheel vibration 2 weeks later went back and they said everything is fine, again vibration in the streering wheel so I had to go back again for the third time. Still the same. Very disappointed.

J'ai acheté mon super golf 2016 en pleine période de COVID-19. J'avoue que ce n'était pas le meilleur timing pour pouvoir acheter un véhicule, surtout que des concessionnaires ne s'accommodaient pas pour faire un essai routier pour les raisons sanitaires. J'ai appelé VW des Sources pour une Golf d'occasion certifiée affichée à un super prix, et j'ai eu une expérience formidable malgré tout.

Le service prévente et après-vente reçu par le vendeur David est exceptionnel. Communication rapide et efficace par textos. De plus, il m'a permis de faire un essai routier de la voiture avant l'achat, ce qui était essentiel vu que j'ai décelé quelques soucis mécaniques. Le vendeur s'est occupé de tout faire réparer avant la livraison.

J'ai eu ensuite à retourner pour des ajustements et des réparations mineures auprès du département du service, et Pascal s'est occupé de tout, sans frais. Il y a d'autres concessionnaires VW proches de chez moi, mais je préfèrerai largement faire plus de 30 km de route pour bénéficier de ce service exceptionnel.

I love my jetta, but had vowed to never purchase a volkswagon again due to the service department. I was going to another dealership for my upkeep.
I decided to try volks des sources and after three dealings with them, I thought I should let everyone know how great they are.
Thank you Pascal for instilling my trust in you and your service department. You make each visit pleasant and efficient. On top of it all you are always helpful and go above and beyond.

Au moment de l'achat je me suis fait dire que l'auto avait déjà été accroché sur la porte du passager et qu'elle avait été repeinte. Après l'inspection que j'ai fait faire, je constate que 4 parties du véhicule ont été repeintes d'une façon qui laisse à désirer. J'apprends donc que ces pièces ne sont plus sous la garantie. Pour ajouter au bilan, 17 codes ont étés relevés, donc 5 au moteur. Je me présente sur place pour en discuter. Le vendeur me demande donc s'il peut le faire regarder par les mécaniciens. Après avoir connecté l'ordinateur sur la voiture, le vendeur me revient et me dit qu'il n'y a pas de code et qu'ils ont été effacés, alors que je tenais en main les codes relevés la veille.

Bref ce fût une piètre expérience pour un jeune comme moi qui achetais son premier véhicule

Had to change my review. Apparently every job done in this shop have to be redone later on. After 2nd tdi recall done the def injector was leaking, parts moved around and installed in place where not supposed to. Installed def pump (or engine block heater- according with one of the mechanics) (next to the oil pan) under oil filter making oil change much harder and longer. And they are insisting that is a manufacturer fault. Was not there before the tdi recall. Had the car inspected by a mechanic before and after. After repairing their own mistake with the leaking def injector, my car smelled ammonia for 2 days. Had to drive with windows open in winter. When called them for the strong ammonia smell, I've been told to use the ventilation on recirculation. I guess the extended warranty is just a 2000 $ money making system for the dealer. I bought a tdi to be able to drive to work (100 km / day) and not to keep the car in the garage. I have been generous with one star.

My gf's bought a used car here. Overall experience was slightly better than I expected initially for a used car purchase. My only complaint is that when we saw the car it was very dirty and in "storage" so couldn't test drive it that day. The next day we came back for an appointment to test drive, but it had not been cleaned. There were apparently other people coming to see it, so we felt pressured to "take it or leave it", we took it. On delivery day, they really gave her the red carpet treatment, which i appreciated as mentioned above, car was cleaned etc, which is when I notice a big scrape on the underside of the front bumper.

Well, this is not the place to go! They have new people who leave for the day when it’s nice outside even if you have an appointment from a week. Not customer focus but more commission focused. VW knowledge is not what you expect from a VW dealer. They lost me as a customer.

Great service and friendly staff and very responsive, even though we don’t live in the area, it was worth the trip for the quality of the service
