Belle petite épicerie à découvrir situé à Wakefield. Sa sélection de bière de microbrasserie est belle et comprend plusieurs sélection local. Très bon choix de produit locaux dans la viande les pâtisserie et les mets préparé. A découvrir si vous passer dans ce coin

You should go here. I was expecting just a little convenience store but its a full grocery store with so much variety and the prices are not marked up as I would've expected for the location. There were more vegetarian and vegan options than I see at my local grocery store as well as freshly prepared meats and baked goods. I purchased a sandwich for $6.99 that mightve been the best sandwich I've ever had and I'm considering making the drive from Ottawa just to buy another one lol. If you are staying in Wakefield this would be a great place to get the ingredients for a delicious meal.

Awesome store! They have some good speciality foods as well as everyday kitchen items. Biggest recommendation is to try the Big Boss Cuban sandwich (immediately left in the first cooler when you enter the store). Staff is friendly and helpful.

Love this place, get most of my grocery there. The price on the gluten free product are amazing.

Fresh local meet also a big plus for us, they also have lots of options on in store cook and bake.

Made a day trip from Ottawa and parked near the store. On way back found car battery bleed and won't start. Went in store and ask for help, an elder gentleman who works in the store offered to boost my car battery with his own car. So moved by his kindness and generosity. Reminded me to be kind to others and help when we can. Thank you sir!

Un peu dispendieux mais on y trouve beaucoup de produits de qualité. Le rayon boucherie a changé en bien. Et c est super.

Very clean and well organized. Lots of cool products, along with lots of name brand groceries, wine, prepared meals and whatever you could possibly need. I reccomend this shop.

Such unusual items for a "General Store". So many gourmet and ethnic foods that you would expect to find in specialty food store.
Plus a small selection of pharmacy items.

Ah, this country store harkens back to the days of yore. Expensive but friendly. Parking can be a challenge when it's busy.

A super spot. I picked up a ham and cheese sandwich from the prepared food section of this full service grocery store and lived it. Staff are very welcoming.

I've been a customer since 1979 when I first moved to the area. We are fortunate to have a great, local, family owned and operated General Store in Wakefield. The building underwent a full renovation a number of years ago and the new look added so much to the village. Great selection of products, convenient hours, friendly staff. The Nesbitt family have worked hard over these many years to build a great business. I miss having breakfast upstairs at Chamberlin's Lookout. Looking forward to a time when we can enjoy the beautiful view of the Gatineau River from the outdoor balcony.

Loved this store 20 years ago, still love it now. I used to come here to get cheesy breadsticks after Church, along with an Archie or Sonic comic. Now, they have adapted to new food trends, and provide a variety of artistinal products, and vegan products.

Very expensive for a family of 5. It is important to support local businesses, but not feasible for our family.

Limited choices ifor some brands, but I am glad it is there. Staff is very friendly.

5 stars if they carried more variety in their products - they do have shelf space constraints.
