Walmart Supercentre

This is a perfect economical place to shop your groceries including ready to eat stuff. Not only groceries this place offers wide range of products encompassing clothes, pharmacy, cosmetics, stationary and much more.

Moi et mon partenaire sommes régulièrement à place laurier et avons régulièrement nos sac a dos dans le Walmart sans encombre. Cependant, CHAQUE fois que je vois une personne à la peau noire sortir il/elle se fait fouiller ses sacs et ce même si c'est des sac d'épicerie acheté directement sur place. Lorsqu’on en parle? La réponse est ''j'ai pas le choix c'est ce que l'on m'as demandé''. Avoir des employés de plusieurs cultures ne suffit pas.il faut respecter ces cultures également. Je pense que c'est mon devoir d'en parler.

Just had the most embarrassing experience in Qebec city! Their MEAT is buzzing! For christ sakes, I bought $20 dollars worth of meat and they had to dig up my whole bag because something was buzzing at the door! It was so upsetting that I ended up leaving it to them because I was too embarrassed to touch it. Never again this Walmart. Shame on you for tormenting honest people with your buzzers! Putting buzzers on meat! How much cheaper will you go? Keep my money!

We have shopping at this store for about 4 years and our shopping experience always ranged from mediocre to good but on our last 4 visits or so (we go there twice a week) my husband and I have been literally harassed by some employees at the self checkout counters because one particular employer told them so (this might sound strange and it is strange but hear me out) the first time this happened, this woman who I believe knew we came from the samw country as her and told my husband in our mother tongue (which was strange because we speak French in public) that she will have redo the checkout to which he agreed and she made sure to make a show about the whole time and they were many people watching the show and it took 45 minutes for reasons we still don't know!
The second time the same young woman stopped us before we leave after already paying and made sure to empty the cart and do the whole thing once again and this time we had our 5 years old with us and he was afraid because some lady was going through our grocery and throwing things like crazy)
The third time she was not at the checkout counter and I suddenly looked up to see her talking to a co-worker and pointing at us, the co-worker came towards us and redid the scan of the items that we slready scanned, then stayed between me and my husband and pushed my son behind us and when I demanded an explanation, she literally shouted in my face. I stopped everything and asked to see the manager but they never came and when I said I want to report this, we were surrounded by employees asking us to leave! My kids was crying, the employee who started all this was shouting and swearing in our native language and we were rushed out of the store.

The fourth time was today, she sent yet another co-worker to do the same thing and this time I wanted to call the police as she stood in a corner looking right into my face smiling like a crazy person!
Lady I'm 5 months pregnant and can't take this type of harassment, we are PAYING customers and we deserve to be treated with respect! I don't know what her problem but that type of behaviour should not be tolerated! Somebody better do something (we have videos if you wanna do check them out Walmart!)

Excellents prix, très bonne concurrence vs les autres épiceries, choix, tout est parfait. Seul bémol: leurs annonces intercom sont faites en français ET en anglais alors que 95% de la population de la Ville de Québec parle le français. On n'a pas à parler anglais à Québec, les non francophones et les touristes doivent être servis en français, ils peuvent comprendre. Le bastion de la francophonie, il faut une plus grande protection de la langue française.

The range of products is less. Sometimes the items are misplaced. Most of the items are well priced. Very understaffed

We found some Asian groceries at the Walmart. Please see the pictures attached. Prices are always very good at Walmart. There are plenty of selfpay registers. Please bring your own bags for your grocery or else u will have to buy them.

Jamel dans l'electro est l'egit le meilleur que j'ai vue a ce walmart. Super gentil, repond VITE au question et mas donner des choix sans me faire sentir comme si il esaille de me "upsell" des truc que j'ai pas besoin. Serieux, je crois que c'est la premiere fois que je suis rentrer, eu du service instantaner et sortie hyper content. Merci!

J’ai toujours eu du bon service dans cette succursale peu importe la raison de mes visites!

Walid aux caisses libre-services était souvent présent lors de mes visites comme ce matin par exemple et je dois dire qu’il est définitivement l’employé le plus souriant! Il a vraiment l’air d’aimer son travail et il a une énergie contagieuse. Ça rend mon expérience de magasinage beaucoup plus satisfaisante!

Si seulement tout le monde pouvait avoir son attitude.

Ambiance pas très chaleureuse et quand on demande un renseignement à une personne qui fait de la mise en rayon, c'était plutôt glacial.

It is a decent Walmart to buy things because rates are comparatively good but customers service is really bad
They didn't care for customer who waited for the sale guy or hours
Response is really bad from their side

Avec la pandémie, les étagère sont plus vide donc moins de choix. Un wal-mart qui n'est pas sur le même sens que les autres.on se cherchent plus

J'ai trouvé ce que je cherchais. En ce qui concerne la pharmacie Alex Caron, un super bon service de l'équipe. Et, super bon service aussi, pour la livraison.

Je me suis rendue dans le département de l'électronique pour m'informer du prix d'une montre Fitbit charger 5 affichée à 2 prix différents: 229$ mais aussi 159$.
Personne ne vient me voir alors que trois employés parlent ensemble devant les téléphones. Je demande de l'aide et on me dit que la personne occupée à la caisse est celui attitrée à l'électronique.
Après plusieurs minutes d'attente, je lui demande s'il peut m'aider et il me répond "ça dépend". Je demande pourquoi cette différence de prix. Après plusieurs minutes de vérification, des appels, etc.on me dit que c'est une erreur d'étiquetage et que 229$ est le bon prix; il me demande quelle couleur de montre est-ce que je veux.
Je lui répond que la même montre est moins chère ailleurs. Sa réponse est que c'est impossible car Walmart a les prix les plus bas.
J'ai acheté la même montre pour 30$ moins cher chez Sports Experts avec un excellent service. Vraiment déçue.

Compared to the other Walmart supermarkets, you might find a lot of empty shelves in this one. Also, the variety of the products is limited.

Service clients exceptionnelle, très bon accueil et le magasin est formidable, le design est assez intuitifs.

It's a decent walmart imo. The guy working at the entrance was polite & cordial which is always appreciated. Needed some stuff at my local pharmacy but couldn't make it there before it closed, therefore, I went here, luckily for me, they had most of what I needed. The aesthetic of it was outdated compared to other supercentre. It was a bit gloomy lol.

Bon qualité prix. On trouve vraiment beaucoup de produits: nourriture, ustensiles de cuisine, pharmacie, vêtements, jouets, produits de saison, décoration, articles pour l'auto, articles audio-visuel.
Le point faible: vraiment très très grand et il y a toujours beaucoup de monde alors c'est assez fatiguant de faire du magasinage dans ce magasin.
Point fort: il est possible de se garer dans un parking sous-terrain qui donne un accès direct au magasin permettant de ne pas passer par Place Laurier. Le parking est accessible par la route tout au bout de place Laurier (du côté de l'immeuble du sky spa).

The products are mostly cheaper than other places.
Especially for some exotic fruits and vegetables.
It has the most complete Asian section compare to other grocery.
Furthermore, for those who is looking for halal food, halal meat, it is the right place.

What makes me happier, is that I can find the most yummy ramen in the world INDOMIE. I hope they continue to sell it here.

The pharmacy and cosmetics section are most likely cheaper as well. During the pandemic 2020, when it was difficult to find alcohol and sanitizer, Walmart had it.

I also used the western union service here, and it was unique experience. It was Monday morning before I went to work, I looked everywhere either money gram or WU. I couldn't find any service available, than I landed here.
The service was in the special area, the same place to complaint and have product exchanged.
I was told by the cashier that the service was down, but she was eager to try it. After while, it worked. I'm thankful that they pay attention for this service.

Unfortunately, the toilet is not so clean. I hope they will pay more attention to this.

Pas fort la planification covid. Il y a une limite de personne à l'intérieur, par contre les caisses self-service ne sont pas toute ouverte ce qui entraine des files d'attentes à l'intérieur.

Le Walmart le plus sinistre que je n'ai jamais visité. En plus on me se retrouve pas. Désolé mais, facile de faire mieu.

Problème
A l'entrée par le centre commercial il n'y a pas d'indication pour le sens entrée et sortie.
Les gens ne sont pas discipliné, entre par la gauche et quand tu veux sortir il faut les éviter sinon t'être dedans.

C'est un walmart comme les autres, son avantage par rapport aux autres est qu'il est situé directement dans un centre commercial. Il est cependant très difficile d'avoir des employés pour avoir des informations et les étagers sont mals entretenus.

Very bad service! The delivery guy has let me carry the groceries by myself, thing that I could have done by going directly to the store rather than ordering online! Also I did not get half of the products that I ordered and I received absolutely no refund! Not to mention that the vegetables were awful and not all the products were packed.

C'est un walmart.
Y'a de tout, mais vraiment de tout.
Mais pas toujours de bonne qualité.
