Walmart Supercentre

There are never, ever any carts (and rarely any baskets) to use at the mall entrance. Yes, you can walk through the store to the main entrance and find a cart but it's so unnecessary and there are never any small carts to be found. This store is always busy and in true Walmart fashion, people are experts at being oblivious to their surroundings so a quick run to the other side of the store takes five times as long just to go get a cart.

"Same Day Pick-up" is a joke. We placed an order before Christmas, the website said "In Stock", so naturally we assumed we would be able to pick it up the same day. Instead, we waited 2 months for it to arrive. When we went to pick it up, we had to wait OVER half an hour for them to bring it out. If we knew how much of a hasstle this would be, we would have just bought it in store. ALSO there's no refund on online orders, so we couldn't even cancel it after a ridiculous amount of time passed.

I went there on Monday. I saw rotten and molded bags of tangerines sitting in the fruits section of the store and none of associates cared at all. I was going to talk to the store manager but got a phone call and had to run. Bought a bag of tangerines from there and tried to inspect for the better ones but the day after I noticed that from a bag, I could just save couple of tangerines. The quality of the food is low and I find that people who work there, don't know where items are located most of the times. I am very upset with the store and will go to the independent store located in the same shopping centre for better quality items from now on

Walmart located at 2277 Riverside and Bank st is a prominent corner stone store within the Billings Bridge shopping mall. It is a smaller scale Walmart that does not include other stores within this store, such as; McDonalds, optricians, car service, or haircutters. However, it does have a decent grocery, clothes and home supplies sections. This Walmart is clean, product shelves are mostly well stocked and the prices are lower in comparison to other smaller stores in the area. I find their groceries to be not as fresh as Farm Boy or the other Independent grocery store (Rileys) also located at Billings Bridge mall. I usually just buy their canned and branded boxed goods, and also focus on their roll back items for their best discounts.
One of the best features I have found at this Walmart is that it is not as busy as other Walmarts in the area, South keys and the Trainyards. This makes it a more pleasurable shopping experience and safer with covid concerns. This store also has two main areas dedicated for entry and check out, either at the front within the mall and at the back of the mall facing the RA centre These two entry/ exit areas have ample space in their parking lots and it is easily accessible to the main streets, Riverside or Bank street. This Walmart store is also located within steps of the Billings Bridge OC public transit station.
So if you like these features this Walmart will likely be a good place for you to shop at as well.

Not always well stocked. I have yet to go in and get every single item on my list in one visit. Staff are nice, except close to closing. They will glare at you and try and avoid you. I get it, I worked food. Hate it when people come close to closing. Overall the experience here is meh. This one is closer to me, but I usually go to the one on terminal ave as its much bigger. But this one is my go to when I need groceries quickly. One 8 minute bus ride away.

Just walked 20 min in the rain because the hours are listed open till 11pm. They are closed.not impressed

When I visited here the place was dirty outside there was shopping carts in the lanes cars couldn't park there cars garbage was all over the ground in the shopping cart areas and by the entrance too cigarette butts all over the ground you just have to walk and you can see the garbage all around the building is disgusting too

The stores was a mess there was no milk bread was out of date and also the meat.y was not a very good color

Ok. Somehow, they only have the Coleman propane cartridge which have a bad outburner top for backcountry mini camping stoves. Could have better selection. Better to go to a Canadian store.

Phenomenal place and great service. Very easy to follow floor markings for the new protocols. Thank you. Also thank you for enforcing people to go in the right directions and to leave enough space. Much appreciated

I was kicked out of the store by an overly aggressive security guard (?) that had no uniform or badge for taking pictures of the shelves. I was a merchandising employee for a vendor for the store who was doing my job. Understandably, I did not have company id, however, the security guard was unreasonable, unprofessional, and did not even issue a warning or ask why I was taking pictures; he just kept asking me to leave the store aggressively. His behaviour may or may not have been racially motivated as I am a person of colour, who knows.

Terrible customer service for not allowing me to exchange items without receipt I bought the day before treat you like a criminal.will contact head office.

Although it is a Walmart, it has to be the best kept, tidiest, and friendly staff for a Walmart in the Ottawa area. For a small store they have everything you need and act as a pick up location for online orders. The overall tidiness is impressive while to reiterate the staff ensure a positive experience.

I would be remiss not to again highlight this store. Having a strange pricing issue with an item that was posted vs.the scanning price that was actually much higher, the Manager Lisa was unwavering in her support and in demonstrating excellence in customer service. Everything was sorted out effortlessly and with the understand in wanting to honour the customer. NOTE ALL OTHER WALMARTS: there is something to be said for this store, staff, customer service. Have a visit and see why this store location is worth going to hands down!

Très bien situé et facile d'accès en transport en commun. La marque n'a pas besoin de publicité. On y trouve notre bonheur pour tout ce qui est maison, déco, habillement et plus encore.

I'll never buy meat here again. This is the second time I paid for food that turned out to be rotten. I've had multiple other issues here too such as returning an item and than finding out there is no money on the card

It's a Walmart. Smaller than some others. Some organic produce, good selection of fresh produce although I avoid buying meat at Walmart.

This is my favourite location because of its compact size. You don't have to wander endless aisle after endless aisle to find what you're looking for. Generally well-stocked with quick checkout/self checkout options.

It's all started when I decided to buy an iPad 7 on January 26 from Walmart, where I searched for the device at Walmart online and found it in three centers near me in Billings Bridge, South Keys and another center, so I went first to the South Keys branch and I did not find the device that I was looking for, so I went to the other two centers and did not find my iPad either, although on Walmart website the device was in the three centers. But I said it's okay, Maybe they forgot to update the site. So I asked for the iPad from the website, and before I requested it, the estimated arrival time was on December 30, but after I ordered it, the estimated arrival time became on January 11, so I called the center to cancel the purchase, but they said that I cannot cancel the purchase until the device comes, and after that I can take it and return it. And because I want to give it as a gift to my friend in the New Year, I had to pay for another iPad to I give it to my friend, and I decided to keep this device for myself. Now, the device arrived to the center after a long time of waiting, so I went to the center to pick it up and went back to my house, but I found they sent me a device other than the one I requested, so I called this center and asked to speak with the administration, and I explained to them the situation that happened with me, and she told me that I should contact the online purchasing department, so I did, and an employee replied to me, and I asked to speak to the administration, he said Well, wait a little, and after 20 minutes, the employee came back and said that I have to wait more, so I told him that I do not have enough time, and I took the device to return it, after I borrowed additional money to buy another device for my friend to give it for him at New Year's Eve, and my money remained with them all this time preventing me from doing anything useful with it. It all happened with me because I am a loyal customer of Walmart and I only buy from them, but this will not happen again, because this is the last time I buy from this store.

The best Walmart I’ve been to is this one. Others complain about the size but I like how everything is in close reach. The store is always clean and things are always tidy.

A bit of a different look compared to your typical walmart, probably because it is attached to a shopping mall. It has 2 different entrance/exit, make sure to check out at the proper one.

This location is my favorite Walmart in Ottawa. Always find everything I need plus staff are very helpful and friendly. Moved all my pharmacy prescription to this location as well. Pharmacists are all great and very knowledgeable. Lots of free parking and its attached to the Billings-Bridge Mall, which has great variety of stores and food court for shoppers of all ages.

The items are displayed online but they are not in store and the customer service representative was unable to say if the item was ever carried in the stores.

Pretty typical Walmart, but was impressed and appreciated the helpful employee in computers/TVs when looking at (and eventually buying) a Chromecast for daughter's residence.

Picked up online order. Employees very friendly and I didn't have to wait long for my parcel pick up.

Working here was absolute misery. Store manager Darin is a dictator. He thinks his staff likes him, news flash, they don't. Walmart is a horrible place to be employed!

This is my second favorite Walmart in Ottawa expanding our shopping there today and no complaints I actually left peacefully no headache no cursing under my breath because somebody ran into shopping cart into my legs haha but in all seriousness good size Walmart that carries most things the demographic is all students if you time it you can be shopping with like three other people in the entire store really always great the only issue and it's not with this one only and that's Staffing size 2C but I guess that's 2019 for you

Bought a faulty cooker, had to return it, the customer service there was awful. The guy just glimpsed at me and kept doing his business, until I had to make the move and said" good evening. " and he just responded, "wait. " And I had to wait few minutes to let him finishing his packaging work to get to me. This has been the case the whole time, even for refund he just said, "insert card". LOL, how much wrong did I do to him?

The customer service at this store is next to none. I went to make a return. There was a guy behind the customer service desk. He glanced up at me then kept doing whatever he was doing. He did not even acknowledge my presence. Another worker came behind the desk then he walked away. The worker then called him and asked for help - he hesitated to help him. He then says, "ok, I'll do it. " This is ridiculous! Customer service is supposed to be fast and efficient. I wasted almost 10 mins to make a return! This is unacceptable!
