PLEASE MAKE YOUR CUSTOMERS FEEL SAFER. This Walmart always has homeless people, drug addicts and other shady people hanging around the front at night. Recently, all the windows have been smashed to the north of the doors and are now covered by plywood. In the past, people have always been panhandling right when you leave the doors.
Walmart and Marlborough Mall, I ask that you take serious steps to make this location feel safer for your customers. Do you want customers, or do you want to drive them away?

This is dangerous walmart.there is criminals inside.when i go there, there were many drug users inside.also saw one person trying to steal. This is unsafe walmart.it is also not good feeling stepping inside

Thankful to have this place so close to our house, 1 specific Staff Leader stands out among all the amazing employees she's a Yellow Vest her Name is Hiam Charnek, so sweet and always so courteous. Very strong driven and motivated person makes this location just that much better

They close self check out early so at the end of the day the line up was 25 minutes long. I left the store at 10: 07.
If they don't want to use people then keep self check out open until 10. There are not enough staff to handle all the customers. A suggestion would be to even leave a few open. Maybe the manager left early too.

I went there set on getting a TV. Walked up to the coounter at the electronics area, and I asked for assistance to make a selection. I got no attention and no assistance. I ended up in Best Buy.

Unbelievable slow cashier ever! I wait close to 40 minutes for 3 customers!
She was talking with people and taking her time when the store was very busy.
I will not come back in this store again!

This store is SO bad. In every aspect. It's so messy and unorganized that there's stuff thrown everywhere, piled on top of each other. You can't find anything. Theres missing tags, half of one thing, then half of another lined in the same spot, empty shelves. What's the point of the planogram if you're not going to follow it? Even though something is listed on the website as in stock, you go in and can't find it anyway! I should know better, whenever I go in here, not one thing on my list is stocked. Rude and unhelpful staff. This place needs a management sweep before it gets so bad they can't recover. I'm telling you it's bad.

The store is always dirty and in the need of thorough mopping. Lot of people hang around the main doors harassing customers and asking for money but it looks like the store manager doesn't care.

Definitely a chaotic but heartwarming place to be. Despite being cornered by a man in this store as a teen (not their fault, security helped me, took it seriously and escorted me safely), this place has always been a go-to for me for cheaper goods (given at others' expense as it's Walmart but you take what you can get when you're on a budget.) They have a great vegan selection now which is awesome, staff are usually helpful and friendly enough. I have a soft spot for this location and it's usually well stocked. To be fair, I never ask for sales advice as I scour the internet prior to purchase! There's always something to see at this location, whether it be what you expected or not. Note: Only shop here if you have patience.

Worest customer service from front desk to customer service manager.
I went with my receipt to ask a refund after 10 days they said no bcs of not letting them know by calling
Eventually there was no time frame on the receipt
At the end they refuse me to talk with store manager

I called in to inquire about a product in the electronics department and the gentleman on the phone said he would check to see if they had told me to call back in 10 minutes (instead of putting me on hold) and then hung up on me. When I called back 10 minutes later I waited for 40 minutes listening to the dial tone. I figured they might be busy so I decided to head to the store myself and inquire about the product in person but when I arrived there were no customers in the electronics department and the gentleman behind the till was just standing around. I decided to test and see if he would pick up the phone if I called the electronics department again. When I called he looked at the phone for a second and then proceeded to just stand there and ignore it while he had no customers to attend to. This kind of cappy customer service is why I won't be buying a new xbox and TV here as the employees do not care to help the customer unless they are right in front of them. What is the point of having a telephone line for customers to call and ask questions so they don't have to waste time coming to the store for something that isn't in stock if your employees won't answer the damn phone.

I love how you can’t even find a shopping cart here to save your life. How the management expects customers to be able to shop for multiple items at a time is completely beyond me.

This Walmart is not the greatest. Never enough cashiers which causes massive lineups and today there were no shopping carts to be found anywhere. Literally none. Only good thing about this location is that they always have what I'm looking for in stock

Looking for a wading pool, none in stock, you did this last year as well, knowing covid has impacted our lives for 2 years now, a little relief would have been nice, and it's not like they won't sell, and be on shelves for years.

Today I went in to purchase a recliner chair, I am 6 months pregnant and needed a hand getting it to my car. Andrea from the bakery offered to give me a hand and went ABOVE and beyond in helping me, I couldn't be more appreciative! Thank you!

The staff called Kishor 3012 in photo centre is very nice and helpful.
Last time, we came here to take our photos but two girl staff were looking for so long and didn’t find anything. They found wrong name even though we gave the correct name. They were not professional and very slower.
Kishor helped us to find out our photos order by using order number. He also asked his manger to help us find out in transit orders in the warehouse. We had a good picking up experience with him. Thank you.

This store is a bitter disappointment. No carts, no cleanliness and always unorganized. Self checkout terminals are not wiped after every use like the other stores. Unsure what their logic is, but half the self checkout is always closed

Woefully incompetent management, and the staff, as nice as some are (key word some), they are restricted by their useless managers. Then there's the loss prevention staff, the only thing to say about them is they are unprofessional to the point of bordering on criminal. Go anywhere else, and save yourself the stress of dealing with people that are as incompetent as a bag of moldy potatoes.

Really very bad customer service, marked price was different and they charged different, so i went to customer service to check they took more then one hour to solve my problem, that lady was taking other customers in between and busy with colleagues to talk and laugh and arranging her other stuff even after one hour I returned my item because o waited 20 min in line then more then one hour to solve my problem but problem wasn’t solved.

20-30 people are waiting in customer service line including senior citizens, employees show no respect. 3 counters but only one is in use.
Employees yell back when someone complains. Manager needs to look into the matter.

Store css and cashier makes up their own rules regarding coupons saying that we can't use it on flyer items. After talking to co operate office they said there is no such rules. They give so bad look like we are stealing something from their store while we use Coupons. Why they are so much bothered if they will get money back from company.

Exchanging a jean size that was bought last night.brand new with tag only worth 13$ and we are ask to go back to deerfoot city branch where we bought it and we get to deerfoot city it’s not even a minute process this is very annoying and disappointing specially for a big chain store.not to mention the marlborough location is dirty and very crowded i’m pretty sure they are breaking the 10% occupancy rule for covid.

Worst customer service ever experienced. I was dealing with Ankit on the return counter and he wasn’t helpful or respectful. If customer service isn’t helpful then he shouldn’t be hired to deal with public. So disappointed!

False advertising in the store. Went in yesterday to look at phones. Saw that I could get a $300 gift card if I get this one phone. I'm with Bell. I asked the guy if O get the 300 gift card with this phone on Bell. He said yes. I come in the next day, Black Friday, we start working on the phone and he tells me before we're almost done that I only get the $150 gift card. I was lied to either by the first or second guy. Pick one. False advertising of getting a $300 dollar gift card to get people to buy new phones then tell them at the last minute that its only $150. I'm getting a new phone with another company and not going through the Walmart cellphone people. Liars.

Very very bad service for pickup.
They did not inform us whether the order has arrived or not. It's been 20 days, I was waiting for my order and finally they rejected my order.

I shop at this location a lot of the time. I must have spent thousands of dollars there. What I don't understand is why security checks every second person for there receipt at the exit for the goods they just purchased when there's at least 4 or more people pan handling only 10 feet away from where they checked you to see if your not a thief. Somebody clue me in.

I went to return a pair of pants, but since it was 4 days overdue from the "90 day return" policy, they would not allow it, with an excuse of "Alberta Health Service Regulations". They dont own Walmart and what would 4 days make a difference of? Customer service rep replied and said if she made the exception for me, she would have to make it for everyone else in line. So what? !? ! Its 4 days!

I went to Walmart located near IKEA. Walked right up to them, explained my experience and they said there was a 45 day extension on the 90 day return policy due to COVID. Took the item back with no questions asked.

Also, this location was way more quiet and clean! Its worth driving out of my way to go to any other Walmart than the Marlborough location. Customer service goes a long way!

Not even want to give one star. Asked for help to get baby car seat was waiting from 25 minutes no one came there. Talked to the customer service manager she also didn’t did anything to help. At last i have to go somewhere else to buy. Worst service

East Hills Walmart is a 2 minute drive from us, but THIS Walmart has produce that ISNT Mouldy, They actually have stocked store shelves (Shocker, I know!) and their staff/management Doesnt ignore you. Will recommend, as far as Walmarts go, this one aint bad!
