Walmart Supercentre

In 2021 a store that does not do price match and claims to have the lowest prices makes no sense, they do not have the lowest prices and at least at this location they do not do price match.

Now to get even worse, they don’t offer plastic bags anymore, they expect you to bring your own bags or purchase overpriced “reusable bags” that have odds shapes and have no use other than carry some groceries. Their excuse? To save the environment… so the affordable and way more useful plastic bags from before (because those you could use for way more things) to them was too much for the environment, but somehow they sell products wrapped in plastic with wasteful packages all over their stores… I guess their marketing department is incompetent or their priorities are all over the place.

Also this particular store has no cashiers available, when they do is like 1 or 2 around, forcing you to go to self checkout… they completely miss the point of offering a service, is like go there to buy stuff and do their work of scanning and packing the goods… it just bad.

They don’t even follow the flyer deals. Ridiculous store. Nobody goes to Walmart for their quality. Low prices is their only value proposition. If you are not even going to offer that, I am out

Only god knows what sort of management this Walmart is under. There has not been a single trip when i have not found out that their prices on the aisle and on the system are not consistent. Basic flyer deals are not entertained citing the fine print in the flyer. BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU SHOP HERE!

No help on floor. No one to help customers. Seems they are short staffed. I went to customer service and request to talk to store manager, but the lady said wait but no one came to talk. Then she said call and talk to the manager but no one pickup the phone.

I would love for someone to ask me "how are you? " "Did you find everything you were looking for? " Not just walk up to you and ask "do you want a walmart card? " Like honestly the same lady ask me today and yesterday. No friendly interaction at all. What happen to the other ladies that were nice and helpful. Not these trolls that have no social skills.

I placed an online order for in-store pickup at this store. The store employee canceled the order and claimed that the item was not available, but I found it in the store myself. Then the employee changed their statement, saying that the system couldn't process, only cancellation. It's hard to believe that such a big Walmart would use such poor tactics to deal with customers

It is not a good pick up place for online shopping. The price they offered doesn’t match the price I got online. And they also can not verify the online price. It is a disaster for their price and information management. That’s odd for a big supermarket with so much stores.

Walmart has become an absolute joke! There's never any cashiers anymore! If I wanted to cash myself out I'd work there or order my groceries from Amazon! Walmart will no longer get my business

This is my local Walmart and it has become a place I try to avoid at all cost. Over the past few years, not surprisingly, this store has done away with most of its cashiers, usually having only 1 working at a time. The rest is self-check out. It would be nice if self-checkout meant that you could avoid being accosted about applying for a Walmart MasterCard, but sadly, the employees still do this while you’re checking out your own groceries. The quality of produce has gone down in recent months while prices have gone up. If you do get in line for the one cashier, you can be guaranteed that they won’t bag your groceries for you, as they haven’t resumed this since the pandemic ended. At this point, I might as well shop at No Frills - at least they’re a truly Canadian store.

Zero Star rating. Walmart. Bad customer service. They advertise items and you go over there and items are not available. WHY? They say it didn't get delivered. They don't give you rain check either. Wouldn't shop there.

Being racially profiled in 2023 is definitely the shopping experience I wanted to have. Especially in a walmart.

I was here with my daughter and the short female manager was being extremely disrespectful to the young employee. I also witnessed her raise her hand towards him which was very inappropriate. I believe her name is suja i hope an appropriate action is taken.

Tried to order limestone twice. Each time they canceled my order. They couldn't tell me why, just kept saying we don't need a reason. They tried to offer a 10 dollar credit. I refused it canceled my credit card. 3rd party selling to Walmart. DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU WANT TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ORDER CANCELED FOR KNOW REASON

I will never go back to stoufville Walmart because of the brown Lady who works in the morning shift at the check out.

Everytime I go into this Walmart by my self I get profiled for having tattoos including a face tattoo always a hassle and a embarrassment forced to take all my stuff out of my bags when as i walk in somebody leaving set off the alarm and was aloud to walk freely, having other employees stand around snicker and whisper to eachother as this is happening un acceptable! I go in with other people and never have a issue. It's sad to see the way people get treated in this store is very unprofessional!

We come from Pickering to shop at the Stouffville store. We have never had a problem & the staff have always been very nice to us.

These young staff work here in the morning shift must be happy with their job and well paid, not doing anything while keeps chatting to each other and mocking at people,

I would like to know why customers are being forced to self-checkout? I bought a whole cart of items on a Saturday night with not a single lane open to cash out my groceries. The self-checkout area was brimming with people with a few cashiers providing assistance. A lovely cashier assisted me as I had a few items that needed to be weighed for pricing. Why don't you hire more people to help your customers?
Are we really taking away these jobs for the big box stores to pocket all the profits? Whatever happened to hiring students/new immigrants to help them get on their feet? I'll think twice before shopping here. There are many other grocery stores in town with actual people ready to cash me out with excellent customer service and competitive pricing.

Warning! If you’re going for an online order pickup, you’d better call this place for verification prior leaving your home as they don’t call you about any cancellations. They only tell that your order is cancelled once you go and park there. I have been sent back 2 times in 2 days when I went for pick ups. Rude customer service. Absolutely not in the mood to serve customer. Specially, presumably the manager who seemed to be from Indian roots on 4th March 2023 at around 9am doesn’t know how to treat the customers. There’re bad times because of weather, but being the manager you should be capable enough to handle the pressure and stay calm because the customers were very less in numbers. Moving forward, a training on customer satisfaction is higher required here.
Ample parking is available and inside the store was nice too.

Unsanitary, public hygiene hazard!
I visited the store over the weekend and the smell in store was putrid.
Transpires there was an unattended blockage in the toilets. A member of staff told me the female toilets were still open where I witnessed the raw sewage flooding the floor of the washroom. Revolting!
But keeping the store open and expecting your staff to work in such a hazardous environment-Disgraceful!
Shameful. You’re staff & customers deserve better.

I am so lucky to meet Staff Rathika when i really need help when I am in store.i am so appreciate she treat my problems as her own, responsible and trying so hard to solve it.she bright this walmart, I am living close and this location has so great and responsible stuff there and make my life more satisfy every time shopping whith walmart.she is the person make this walmart not only selling and buying, she make the place to warm customers heart! Don’t go to pickup online orders. They are terrible at it, worst customer service. Person whose picking up the call for pickup doesn’t know a thing about customer service. Very unprofessional. Better go somewhere else.
