Wingbuddy

Well this is my first experience with a tour company. So far I'm not impressed with the booking process at all. The trip was processed on my CC Jan 8 it's Jan 11 and no booking info so we can book seats. Update to follow. I do hope the rest of this experience runs smoother. Now Jan 12th and still no booking confirmation, kinda sounding like a poor credit rating with the airlines. Update to follow! Jan 13th and still no booking confirmation.
UPDATE: Jan 15th - we have now received our airline booking confirmations and have been able to secure seats and add luggage. They have switch to TAP from AC - we paid an upgrade for AC so we shall see about the refund of that surcharge. Feeling more hopeful that this will be a good trip.
Jan 19 - Was nice to see a response from WingBuddy and they did explain why it took so long in doing our booking (holidays and too many bookings!) NOW lets see how they respond to the booking overcharge - will update as we progress. Still being positive about WingBuddy at this time.

Great accommodations, flawless connections, and good itinerary. Only caveat: Sorrento shuts down in winter so an Amalfi coast tour should have been added to replace the Capri excursion that was not provided as originally planned. I would definitely use WB again!

We had an amazing trip through Thailand. The guides were wonderful and treated us like friends. I was travelling with my mom who is 82yrs old and I have not seen such respect for the elderly. The sights we saw were highlights of each destination and the tours we added were fantastic. I highly recommend this trip to Thailand with Wingbuddy.

Had a great trip to Egypt thanks to Wingbuddy. The tour guides were excellent, the additional excursions were amazing the food and accomodations were great. Thanks for making this a trip we will always remember!

The worst trip of the worst. Zero organisation. No respect to people. 100% fraud. Fully ignore for any of our attempts to connected to customer services. Absolutely do not related to that what was described on website and even on the beginning of reservation. Travel company changed our hotel at the last moment without announcement and explanation. This hotel is looks as a motel and located in very residential area far away from historical district. Actually, travel company cut group of us from chance to take a walk and enjoy the Rome. The room in hotel looks just a little over the bathroom size in regular hotel and bathroom looks a little over the closet size. Bus driver only take us to destination and then we left alone without any tour guide explanation about the historical places. Plus if we have to go inside the museum we have to pay extra that is also is not mentioned in internally. If guide knows it will be heavy rain this time of the day why he have take us to this attraction? Change the plans, have some common sense instead of walking under heavy rain back for 20 minutes and being all wet and catching cold. It’s very unprofessional and poorly organised. Our rate minus 100 points down

The itinerary was perfect for exploring each island. The upgraded hotels were excellent as were the breakfasts. Customer service was great. We would highly recommend this trip

Deuxième expérience positive avec Wingbuddy, cette fois pour un voyage en Grèce. J’adore la formule semi-organisée où tout est réglé au quart de tour. Les vols, les transferts et les hôtels sont pris en charge. Les chauffeurs sont courtois, les véhicules sont propres et le service est hors pair. On sait tous à quel point un séjour en Grèce peut être complexe en raison de la logistique (traversiers, transfert à l’hôtel, etc.) alors je recommande à tous ceux qui souhaitent profiter de leur séjour sans se casser la tête.

Last minute flight change. Charged to us. You are told initially that you can't make changes because it is a package. If you didn't take the flight you lost the whole vacation. Tried calling and emailing with no response. Have been dealing with british airways to try to get reimbursed for extra costs. (They want personal banking information by email -not doing that). Wingbuddy has been no support at all. I have left several voice messages and emails. They do not have the courtesy to answer. We lost 1 day of our vacation plus incurred extra costs of $450 per person times 4 people.

Just returned from 16 day tour of the Greek Islands. I was so impressed with Wingbuddy and how well organized everything was. It was stress free to have the transfers taken care of and to be greeted by the Wingbuddy reps at each place. All our hotels were great and staff at each one very hospitable and friendly. I highly recommend this company

We did the Magical Duo tour (France and Italy). Overall the trip was great but the hotel room in Paris was very small for 2 people. The bathroom was really just a cubicle.when you turned around in the shower, you couldn’t help but turn the water off. The weather was beautiful but very hot and we asked about a/c and were told that it wasn’t turned on until June (?) It was also really out of the way to get to any tourist hot spots. We were there end of May. Hotel in Rome was beautiful. A little glitch with our pick up at the airport in Rome but overall great value for the price. My only recommendation would be a different hotel in Paris.

Great value for $$$. Very well planned program with flexibility and options for free time. Excellent pre-sale, post sale and on tour support. Highly recommend!

Voyage du 20 mars au 01 avril 2023. Nous avons fait un super voyage en Egypte avec WingBuddy. Nous étions un petit groupe de 11 francophones avec un guide exceptionnel, Mustafa. Je recommande ce voyage à tous ceux désire connaître la civilisation Egyptienne!

This was an amazing trip to Egypt, the piramids, temples and ancient sites were so fascinating and fulfilled a life long dream to visit them, the Wingbuddy staff was great, informative, polite and went out of their way to meet the needs and requests of Everyone in our group, my wife had a birthday when we were on the cruise portion of our visit, and siad, our guid organized the chef to bake her a cake witch the whole kitchen staff presented to her at dinner, … it was a wonderful surprise and made her night, all in all, a wonderful trip, … we’re now looking at our next destination with Wingbuddy

Everything was as planned! Flights, trains, hotels, amazing experience and we have an wonderful long expected Trip!

Did the Costa Rica Natural Wonders tour, and it was amazing! The hotels were excellent. The tour was well organized. Our guide Walter, was the very knowledgable and informative and provided us with additional things, aside from our itinerary, to do in each town which just made our trip more memorable. I will definitely book with wingbuddy again!

We booked the 9 day magical Dubai package
And worked with the Wingbuddy representative to include direct flights from Toronto Dubai and Dubai Toronto There is a cost but will worth it.
So the 9 Day Magical Dubai is well worth the Money however in my Opinion what really made it a super experience was the WingBuddy Local Representative/ Tour Guide Ayaz Ahmed from our first interaction at the Airport right to our last Dinner with the Tour Group Ayaz was amazing
His Knowledge of the UAE is impressive
Which really added to the whole groups travel experience
In many conversations that I had with other Tour members that we meet they all shared the same feelings prior to the many excursions Ayaz prepared us for what you will see what is allowed or not dress code when required and Ayaz was a wealth of information during the activities and than after while on the Bus or at a restaurant during a group Lunch or Dinner

I am giving Wingbuddy 5 Stars rating for a couple of reasons the Entire tour is very well planned however in my opinion our Tour Guide Ayaz made it a 5 Stars Plus plus experience

Excellent Costa Rica Nature Tour Package: guide/locations/hotel (not fancy but clean and safe)

First, they were quick to answer the phone for reservations but very very slow to answer people who already have a reservation. Too many problems with the guide who do not have a individual's provide appropriate services. You are left in the foreign country where you have to rely on the company who is not responding quickly enough. They said that we meet after breakfast, but most of the time we meet before breakfast. Also too many people are coordinating so you are lucky if they are good. I would never go back to the company again and I would not recommend it to anyone. I love traveling but this was the worst ever. Too stressful!

The tour to Magical Dubai is such a bargain. Wingbuddy has things couvered so great. Your free time is after the planned excursions so they have you a little familiar with the town, transportation and laws. My daughter is already wanting to go back. Great time.

Le Vietnam du nord au sud, excellent voyage avec des guides qualifiés et compétents on a vraiment découvert le peuple vietnamien et une organisation du séjour numéro un.

J’ai eu un bon service lors de ma réservation. Les engagements du forfait ont été entièrement respectés. La qualité des hébergements et des repas ont été supérieurs à mes attentes. Cette première expérience fût très agréable.

Je vais réutiliser cette agence pour un prochain voyage.

We've traveled twice with Wingbuddy and overall they do a great job. Is everything perfect? No, but for the most part things are as you would want them to be. We will use Wingbuddy again for our travels.

The trip Wingbuddy arranged for us to Paris, Rome, and Sorrento was wonderful! We never could have planned this vacation on our own. We had just the right amount of guided tours and free time to enjoy everything these destinations had to offer. We will definitely book with them again.

This travel company might just be the worst run company I’ve encountered. They basically run a bait and switch on your travel plans. Getting you in at one price and then in the days leading up when you already have everything booked they start changing and adding cost. And forget about trying to contact them with any questions or inquiries, they take weeks to respond.

Never again! And I caution everyone else to look beyond the deals. It IS! Too good to be true with this company.

We had a fabulous time on our Wingbuddy “Italy North to South Tour”. From the ease of booking to help with every detail we can’t say enough about the great customer service. With Air Canada altering flights Wingbuddy was on the job getting things rearranged. Communication was amazing. The tour company used in Italy was Carrani Tours and everything was seamless from airport pickup to airport drop off. The drivers and guides did a great job. The hotels were great. We particularly enjoyed Rome Garden Hotel and Michelangelo Hotel in Sorrento. I’ve would strongly recommend Wingbuddy and will definitely use them in the future. As a matter of fact I’m looking for my next adventure with them!

Costa Rica - This tour is AMAZING! We travelled April 3rd to April 14th. We saw the most wonderful animals~crocodiles, sloths, spider monkeys, howler monkeys, caiman, colourful exotic birds, tarantulas, native frogs. Walked across bridges above the canopy. We viewed a volcano, toured a coffee and chololate place. Stayed in the jungle, a small town, a bigger town.a resort on the beach. This was an all round experience with difference weather, different elevations, different scenery. All the food provided was excellent. I highly recommend this tour through Wingbuddy.

This was our first experience on a Wing Buddy tour, but it will not be our last.
The itinerary we selected was Mysterious Egypt and Hurghada. The opportunities we had to enjoy the highlights of ancient Egypt as well as the resort experience on the Red Sea were more than we had dreamed of. The archeologist that was our guide on our Nile cruise and all the museum and pyramid and temple site visits was outstanding.
We are accustomed to putting our own trips together, but having Wing Buddy staff to take care of all the details that we would normally have had to attend to allowed us to enjoy our trip even more.
Definitely a 5 star trip!

I recently returned from a trip with Wingbuddy to the city of Dubai, to my surprise everything went as they promised, visiting many historical places, good food, good hotels and a direct round trip flight.and most importantly the price. I am already planning another trip, this time to Spain and Portugal and this trip will be again with Wingbuddy.

Go to Egypt with Wingbuddy and the tour guide Ahmed Wahab! The trip of a lifetime! We just got back from the Wingbuddy tour package “Mysterious Egypt and Red Sea”.   The cost vs value was amazing. I would highly recommend this trip to any of my friends and family, with the knowledge that some of the room accommodations are 5 star (Cairo and Hurghada hotels- wow!), some are 3+ star (the Luxor hotel was half renovated rooms. The cruise ship could use a new swimming pool), but the overall value of the trip is amazing. Virtually all meals were included. I was very impressed with the organization of the trip- from airport pick up with Fady, to busses/horse rides/transportation always being exactly on time- wow! All of the staff we encountered, especially the staff on the cruise ship, were wonderful. The hot air balloon was one of the most magical things I have done in my life. Most importantly, I can't say enough about our guide Ahmed Wahab. I have been on A LOT of guided tours and he is TRULY one of the best guides I have ever met. He is not only insanely knowledgeable about everything Egypt, but also able to communicate that information in an interesting and memorable way. He is kind and patient, and truly passionate about Egypt- this passion was passed on to the group through his guidance, and it truly made for a memorable experience. He was also wonderful with accommodating the different needs of the group, for example when someone needed a break from walking or wanted to switch hotel rooms. He always stuck with the group until everyone was heard and cared for. He made everyone feel safe during their time with him. He is a great leader and the type of tour guide you hope for whenever you travel. I would definitely do another tour with Ahmed, and with Wingbuddy. Thanks for the amazing memories.

Thank you very much WingBuddy for an awesome trip to Dubai. We traveled as a group to Dubai April 14th through 22nd, and I must say it was an awesome experience very organized from the start to finish. We saw just about everything did about everything! Dubai was spectacular, great food, awesome views, great people, safe & very clean. Surely will be using Wingbuddy again for my next trip!

If only there where a 0-star. This is an incompetent company-misrepresented entire trip. We were told we would have an English speaking guide. NOT! We were not told it was pick up -drop off tour. We were not told Wingbuddy contracts through another more incompetent company.
The bus wasn’t cleaned for 17 days, bathroom was locked (niot just encouraged not to use)
The tours were non-existent “panoramic Views”. No info about sites. Like a 17 day local bus ride for $3500. Tons of “free time” without any guidance.
Trudging through medinas (Morocco) to overpriced stall and urged to buy. (one guide cursed because We didn’t buy.) Wouldn’t let us stop at cheaper fun stalls. Trudge trudge for 4 hours
Had to get Covid test -much chaos finding place and getting computer results.
Then the topper -on Monday before tour ended on Wed. -guide dropped us on curb at hotel with “ with “bye bye you’ll have 1 hour city tour of Madrid in the morning. THAT is what we saw of Madrid! That afternoon in hotel cafe one of our purses was stolen-called the emergency line-no answer. Emailed Wingbuddy-got response next day-sorry for situation go to Embassy. No local support at all. Of course we had gone to Embassy before e-mail.
Absolutely no tour company care-no name tags, no introductions, they had no idea where we were for 2 days-could have disappeared like the purse.
Do not expect professional behavior from this company-Wingbuddy May be a “fly by night” deal maker, but they are lacking the skills of a competent travel agent.
I checked the reviews. Good ones are on short day trips! Read the bad ones-they describe our situation just the same
It was a miserable expensive vacation. Forget Wingbuddy and their contract VPT in Spain

My third trip to Ireland this was the best and all booked through Wingbuddy. They did a great job.

The only suggestion I would make is Wingbuddy should avoid sending their clients through Toronto’s Pearson Air Port it is utter chaos. If you really want to get Covid travel via Pearson. Two hours to clear customs and immigration while standing shoulder to shoulder and no Covid protocols. The systems and the staff are totally overwhelmed.

I thought I was traveling into a third world country. Avoid Pearson airport at all costs.

To travel. They are sloppy with with their
Correspondence. They have no issue collecting their funds for their tours
On time. But to refund you money that’s owed is an issue. Voice mail, no person to speak with, send email to operations and no response. I would never recommend or use them again for group travel. The itineraries were not as they
Posted. Places were closed. We just drove around on the tour bus and pointed to places of interest,

Nous avons voyagé tout à fait dégagé des contingences: toutes les réservations avaient été faites et elles ont été respectées sur place. Les représentants locaux ont fait les rappels des départs des navettes et la prise en charge s'est faite aux heures indiquées. Bref un voyage sans inquiétude, relax. À cela s'ajoute le plaisir d'avoir séjourné dans 4 hôtels confortables et bien localisées. Un voyage à bon prix que je peux facilement recommander. Trois îles à savourer au soleil.

Ahmed was the best guide very informative & friendly. He interacted with his group. Very informative. Would have him as a guide anytime!

Wow, a phone call and I actually get to talk to someone right away that answers all my questions! The tour was well done, my first motor coach tour but amazingly active everyday if you so desired…. And a Canadian company …I will be travelling again with them!

We recently travelled to Egypt and booked the Wingbuddy tour package -“Mysterious Egypt and Red Sea”. Our interaction with Wingbuddy was excellent. They were prompt with replies to our questions and helped guide us with any travel questions. Our family came from multiple locations so it was important that the tour coincided with our air travel arrangements which we booked separately. All in all a great experience.

Just returned from a Wingbuddy trip to Egypt. It was really great. A little exhausting mostly because where 76. But we did the camel ride to the pyramid. Everything went smoothly and the four days on the Nile was really special. Plenty of good food to choose from. The lasT three nights on the red sea (and pool) let everyone de compress before long trip home. I would highly recommend.
