Front desk workers (Sabrina, Saad) and the AGM work very professionally. They are kind and very helpful. I wouldn't want to train anywhere else. I love it here

Excellent personnel! Le coach que j'ai rencontré était gentil. J'enlève 2 étoiles, parce que le coaching privé est vraiment trop cher pour mes moyens. 119$+taxes aux deux semaines. C'est troooop cher. Même si je leur fais part du fait que je suis étudiant et que je travaille 1 jour par semaine, pas moyen d'avoir un meilleur prix.

I’ve had an issue with my body not able to gain weight nor muscle he gave me a trick and that worked like a charm.
Honestly thank you coach i’ve been having this issue and asked several trainers about it each one gave me a different ideas but this one here was the one that did the Job, can’t wait to learn more from this excellent individual. 10 stars if i can!

La propreté et la courtoisie pour la propreté ils font leur possible mais parfois ce sont les gens qui sont malpropres. On est toujours bien reçu par le personnel. Très satisfaite.

Very disappointing that they steal money from my credit card. I canceled my membership last month, and they charged on my credit card this month without my approval. When I did cancellation, they told someone to contact you on the phone, but no one called me. No helpline for customer. I do advise everyone not to sign an annual contract.

Very happy to be come a member of this world wild gym - ones u are member, gives u acsees to all the location gym same brend. Gym offers u a really good service for the relaible price (24,99 cad per month + 15tax) The Vip packet incluides: gym area, groupe workout (yoga, zumba, latino dance, box classes.) sauna, pool, jakuzzi. Yes the only strange things for me was, that u will need to bring your own locker for the changing room (to keep your private iteams). Also here incluides here tuning room (not at exactly this location, but u can visit at any another near u) and baby seat room (u need to call in advance att least 24h for reserve a place, baby seat room is for free for 90 minute per day, if u wanna leave it for longer, u will need to pay. Babby seat room is available 4 times a week (scedule need to be double checking with admistrator).
Also one importand things ones u be come a member of the gym (u automaticaly sign in for 1 year, so from your card will be charging everymonth payment, if u have medicale proof that u are not able to visit gym during one or couple of months, u will be still charge and then does ammount of months will be adding to your card for free, for example: u start at january 2023 and february / march u was not visit the gym regard medical conclussion, u will still pay for it, but your card will be valid up to march 2024, not January. The exeptions is member card Flex - this card u can stop any mommnet, the price, if i am not mistaking, 40,00 cad + 15%tax, but do not forget: ones u stop and wanna renuvet, u will need to still pay card fee and members fee, what is in year membership - 1 time payment. I would love those last explenanttion read it as well people who is putting 1 /2 stars for gym, because they been charge even after they bring medicale sertificate, because i think is not fair to put low raiting for gym it self, if u are not awear well about they rulles

Now after many years that i canceled my subscription they send me en mail to my old house to pay 60$, really it’s a shame, Disappointing gym. Machines are always used clearly not enough for the large amount of people trying to train, with fake service guard for kids cuz always closed no employees there! Overall miserable experience, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else And if you want to cancel your membership you have to pay a lot $$$ it’s like punishment, be careful, now I have to pay each month until the contract end

Ok first of all why there are cameras in the change room and even in the washroom. Is it even legal?
Broken and old equipment

L'horaire n'est pas flexible du tout surtout la piscine ferme chaque jour de 12h00 à 17h00 et weekend ferme à 13h00 donc on ne peut pas y aller l'après midi, et tous les jours ouvrés à 17h00 et ferme à 20h00, ils ne peuvent même pas rester la nuit jusqu'à 22h00. Vraiment honteux ils veulent juste largent sans penser aux clients. Vraiment une mauvaise expérience jamais y retourner.

N'aller pas à ce gym. Ça fait plus de 2 semaines que j'ai fais une demande de cancelation pour mon entraîneur et rien n'a été traité jusqu'à ce jour. La moitié des poids libres ont disparus, vraiment décevant.

My sister got injured and she can no longer train anymore and this great gym will not cancel her contract and still charges her for imaginary sessions.

If your not a girl the guy staff will ignore you last time i ask for a band the staff guy told me he didn’t have any he didn’t even open the band drawer i told him there’s one in the drawer and there was a lot in it, to busy flirting with guest

WORST GYM
This is by far the worst gym I had to deal with. We registered for 2 months membership and took the VIP package just to be able to cancel it after 2 months because we're travelling for 6 months. We made sure to call them and they assured us that we won't be charged extra months. Guess what? They're still taking money off my credit cards 2 months after we canceled by phone.

I hired a trainer at world gym Laval.due to some family reasons i have to cancel my contrat.i have already paid 500$ cancelation fée.but they are still charging 530$ every month.i have send them Lot of emails but none is replying. The stuff did not help me at all. Its fraud

Bonjour je me suis fait agressée verbalement au gym de Laval alors que j'étais avec mon bébé. J'ai essayé plusieurs fois de contacter la manager du centre pour une plainte mais les employés refusent de me la passer au téléphone. Depuis ce jour je suis terrifiée de retourner m entraîner alors que je suis abonnés comme tout le monde.je ne sais plus quoi faire. Je pensais que le gym devait être comme une famille qui s entraide. Un vieil monsieur était témoin et m a même dit ben voyons es ce que cette personne est folle de vous parler comme ça.

Trop plein, les gens viens ici plus pour chiller et occuper les machines que pour sentrainer, dommage je retourne a celui de ddo

Sachant bien que les premiers jours ca marché et apres quand j'ai appelé la salle de sport de laval le monsieur ma confirmé que sa gérante a confirmé que pour juste accéder a ton profil même si tu es un adhérant vip tu dois payer un supplément hors jamais ils m'ont parlé de ca lors de la signature de l'abonnement et par tout dans le monde je trouve bizarre juste pour un accès a son propre profil au temps que membre dans un club tu dois payer

Si on compare avec les autres World gym, il est peu intéressant au niveau des cours de groupe. Il y avait des bons cours de fitness, de xfit et de yoga. Il me propose d’aller à Rosemere pour répondre à mon besoin… je suis à Laval, la demande est là, à Laval, pourquoi ne pas répondre aux besoins de Laval? Le staff changent régulièrement aussi.

Not my cup of tea. Old and dirty. The equipment dates back to the 2nd world war. Good luck trying to find free weights, cause they're not on the racks. Nobody cares to put weights back in their place. Showers are a health hazard. I was afraid of getting some sort of bacteria every time I took a shower. But at least you're not alone while taking a shower, the shower flies keep you company.

Dry Sauna and steam room closed all the time for the past 3 years because they cant find the parts. In 2019 they ordred the parts from USA but not arrived yet so they promised that they would re-open the sauna and steam room in 2045. The rest I like good staffs good machines.

Abonnement de 30$ par mois pour un gym ou la piscine est en rénovation le saunna pas réparer depuis plus de 3 mois.
(mon goût personnelle, il manque de cours de danse le jour. Sur 7 jours, 2 cours de danse avant 17h)

Manque énormément de matériels, le centre est petit et donc pratiquement toujours surpeuplé et surtout une équipe incompétents! Je déconseille fortement!

On s'abonne vip c'est gratuit pour ma copine.non je continue de payer vip mais du a la capacité a 50% ma copine dois payer 10$ meme si je continue de payer vip.pas d'eau dans le gym a laval depuis 1 demaine et ils ne fournisse pas les bouteilles gratuitement en attwndant!? !? !? On dois payer pour boire de l'eau dans un gym!? !? !? Ils on meme coupé l'eau dans les toilettes! Personne surveille les bottes a l'entrer donc le plancher dans le vestiaire est toujours salle et plein d'eau. C'est dégueulasse quand on se change on a les pieds dans la sloche. Le pec deck est tordu completement désuet et il y en a juste 1.

Went to sign up yesterday, the front desk representative was very helpful and guided me through the different memberships. It suddenly got busy because of the capacity I assume, but nonetheless his manager stepped in his shoes and she made sure everything was good to go.
Teamwork and enthusiastic gym.

I recently bought my membership and I sincerely regret my decision. The hot sauna is out of order and the management doesn't care repairing the hot sauna for men. They are good at collecting money. ZERO SERVICE! In case you want to become a member at this gym take my word go somewhere else.

So I’ve been really underweight all my life and when i started training with Niko at world gym laval, I started seeing changes in less than 3 months! I’m now really healthy and feel stronger It’s really worth it because I’ve reach my goal and still continuing to train with him to go further

A lot of space, lots of machines, pool, jacuzzi, sauna, customer service is helpful and polite.
Cons: removing one star because pool area often too crowded.and pool need maintenance for 3 months now, and closing now for unknown period.
I joined only for the pool, hope they fix it soon and better manage attendance in the future.

I would like to share that the course of spinning with Benjamin was veryyyy funnn, his very enthusiastic I totally recommend to go to his courses!

I was diagnosed with stage 4 leukemia and wasn't able to train. I called worlds gym to see if they can pause my membership until I recover and there answer was unfortunately we can not do anything. Worst gym ever.

Ce gym va perdre sa clientèle car il continue à prélever du compte pour un service non obtenu pendant la fermeture soit pour covid ou rénovation disant que c pour garder le prix du contrat à vie mais ils vont perdre leurs clients à vie. En plus on paie pour vip pour un cours préféré et les bon instructeurs toujours quitte à cause du salaire selon eux.

Je ne comprend pas pourquoi vous continuez de faire des prélèvements alors que nous n'utilisons pas le service! Et vous demandez de payer d'énormes sommes si on veut annuler le contrat alors que vous ne respectez pas votre part du contrat.
En passant, si vous avez des questions ou des inquiétudes en ce moment (contexte de pandémie) vous pouvez communiquer par courriel avez eux, mais soyez informez qu'ils ne répondent jamais, jamais, jamais!

World gym continue de prendre l'argent sur mon compte jusqu'à date et quand j'ai parlé avec un responsable pour annuler mon contrat tant que vous me livrez pas le service et vous ne respectez pas mon contrat, il veulent que je paye 523$ pénalité je recommande pas du tout la compagnie World gym se sont des voleurs.

Puis je savoir pourquoi vous continuez a prendre les paiements alors que la planète en entier est confiné, c'est pas honnête la?

They charge a "price guarantee fee, ' which yes, you do know about it when you sign up, but you can't opt out of. So all their publicity of low prices are laced with extra fees which makes it similar prices to other places.
I tried cancelling my membership after 5 months and basically at 6 month mark, you still have to pay for the full year. Other gyms offer you to pay only 30% of what's left.
Positive: there are a lot of machines and great choices of classes.

Je me tais depuis longtemps. Lorsque le Québec et tout le Canada sont touchés par Covid19, le gouvernement a mis des mesures pour protéger les gens. Les gens tombent malades et certains meurent, World gym ne se soucie pas. Ils disent aux gens qu’ils portent un masque et désinfectent les mains. Mais avez-vous eu le temps d’observer qu’il n’y avait pas de gel désinfectant pour les mains n’importe où dans la salle de gym. Dans les pulvérisations, le liquide était 99% d’eau. J’ai eu l’impression qu’ils n’ont gardé que de l’eau avant d’entrer dans la salle de gym. (peut être un petit gout de détergent dedans) Même pour nettoyer les équipements le liquide n’était rien d’autre que de l’eau. C’était juste un lavage des yeux juste pour montrer qu’ils s’en soucient

Have had problems with service at the front counter more often than not and I've been waiting months for them to fix an issue with my contract. The 'women only section' of the gym is way too small and there aren't enough machines. The leg press on the womens side has been out of order for atleast six months, as if the lack of equipment on that side isn't bad enough.

Le service à la clientèle est très ordinaire. La plupart du temps grand roulement de personnel. Les heures de cours changent constamment et souvent l'aquagym pas de professeur.

Recently from March 2020 due to pandemic their all the services was closed even though they charged from my credit card. Also they charged additional monthly fee for the guarantee rate. I dont understand that how come some one can charged you for something and provide a rate guarantee if the service in closed.
Also normally their contract renewal is not automated so until you dont sign it wont be renew but mine they renew automatically and started to charging monthly. So annoying and frustrated to get your money back from this all un authorised payments.
I will try to file a complain again this gym as there are so many glitches there to get money from the client.

I am agree with the people who are concerning about hidden fee, and misleading advertisement. Also when you called to get the information about membership, you will not get it clear and they are hiding to tell you about all the fees. First time registration fee, Price guarantee fees two time in a year.and much more. Just try to call them. Updates. So in total they are charging 356$ (including tax) for the whole year that include two time price grantee fee of 19.99$ and 34.47$ for Inscription and card fees. So around 30$ per month you are paying. So decision is yours. IN CURRNT COVID-19 PANDEMIC LOCK DOWN THEY CHARGED MONNTHLY FEES PLUS PRICE GUARANTEE CHARGES. I HAVE REQUESTED TO GET CREDIT IT FROM MARCH 2020 BUT NO ONE REPLIED. People need to consider this kind of services while they join this Gym.

I consider it one of the worst places in customer service and they have hidden fees. They just steal more than 40$ cancellation fees although i cancelled the contract in less than 24 hours although the responsible there told me that in the first 6 days no cancellation fees. Shame

The fact that their contracts are laced with extra charges is something to be wary of. After you pay them, they have the audacity to charge a membership fee upon signing which is $19.99, a card fee which is another $19.99, and then a guaranteed rate you pay every 6 months, again $19.99.

It should NOT be this complicated. Most gyms have a shady cancellation policy, they don’t necessarily like the concept of services rendered. After reading the comments below, it should come as no surprise how this gyms cancellation works where they squeeze every dollar.

Attention à tous les membres VIP, World gym modifie vos contrats sans votre consentement. Si vous amenez un invité avec vous comme c'est possible normalement dans votre contrat, vous risqué d'être facturé!

Nice staff, lots of machines but also lots of people on the weekend obviously. If you go outside busy hours, you'll appreciate the variety of machines

Bien que la salle soit très bien équipée et que les cours collectifs sont biens, le service est vraiment médiocre. Les personnels d'accueil et du mini club ne connaissent pas la politesse. Ils sont condescendants et hautains!

La pire expérience que j'ai passé, tu paye pour un abonnement de 1an et il y a un vice caché de payer un garantie de 2 mois Avril et Novembre, attention à ça, parce que c'est de fraude d'une façon indirecte, pas de respect de la gérante, il y a pas de bain ni sonna ni piscine à cause de rénovation et ça fait des mois.ils veulentjuste générer de l'argent alors qu'ils sont fous du comfort ou de l, expérience de leurs clients.je conseille personne de s'inscrire dans ce gym, Worldgym est n'importe quoi.vous pourriez même attendre devant la porte de la salle de curée labelle et se renseigner d'un client avant de signer le contrat, attention.

They made people sign contracts with personal trainer. Please watch out, they will tell you that once you finish your sessions they will stop charging you but that's not the case, i am still being charged and personal trainer lie to people. Please please do not sign any contracts with them.
