Won’t shop again because owner was unwilling to exchange stale bread. Was told that we should have brought back bread even though we live in ville st Laurent.not very compromising.

Always a stop when we're heading back to Toronto. We love the freshed baked goods and potato luckas. We used to live in Dollard and Kirkland and have been going there for years.

I love this place! The food is fresh and yummy. The staff are friendly! Service in English or French. I’ve had to wait at times, but it’s no one’s fault except for the customers ahead of me for ordering so much!

Rude people they don’t answer phones and have no stock - we have to walk there so calling in advance would save us wasted trips but we won’t be back you can get every single thing they sell elsewhere in the West Island

Everytime I come to Montreal I get some knishes to take home to Edmonton. I noticed on my last visit, September 2022, the potato filling has decreased significantly. I am sick to the back teeth with "shrinkflation"! Charge a bit more, and I do mean a BIT more. Don't gouge the customers. I have no problem with businesses making a profit. I just don't want to be insulted. If this continues I do kot see myself visiting this business anytime in the future.

Good one stop shop for a variety of Montreal bagel varieties and danishes. Quick service in English and French. We always stop by before heading home to Ontario.

Haven't been in ages, since I moved away years ago. Was in the area and decided to stop in. Yagel Bagel is a gem in the west island. Pricing is great. Service is great. Breads, bagels, cookies - you name it, top quality.

The smell when you walk in is good enough to pay for.

I used to live in Montreal and always bought items from this location. I moved to Toronto many years ago and was only able to get my fix lol if I went to Montreal. I decided to call the location and spoke to Brent if it would be possible to send raw potatoe and cheese knish. Brent was amazing and said he would be able to send the items to Toronto. He took care of all the packing as well as arranging the UPS delivery. I just received the items and all arrived within a day as he said it would. I will be now ordering when I need as this is a great option as i am unable to find these items in Toronto. I just want to say Brent went over and above to make me happy and really appreciate his customer service.

Unfortunately they had nothing I wanted. Came down from Toronto and they had no little sandwiches no donuts no chips it seems to have changed to bad

Great selection of fresh baked breads, pastries and groceries. As well as an awesome frozen section. They also now carry EPG's cookies fresh baked and frozen, so that's a huge plus!

I wish I could give it 0 stars. My mom was SO excited to stop in here when she saw on Facebook they were selling her favourite type of eggrolls. It was my mom’s first time in the store and she didn’t know how the system worked, and was rudely attacked by the woman working there when my mom went to take some eggrolls from a ‘reserved’ section. I put reserved in quotes because there was no indication for ANYONE to know they were reserved. There was no sign on the door (or any that was obvious).

My mom was also planning on buying some bagels and pastries but left immediately because she was completely embarrassed. We went down the street to pickup some fresh st viateur bagels from the location on Tecumseh - fresher anyway. We will never be back.

Great little bakery, really enjoyed shopping there until my last visit.
Young skinny blonde haired woman, who is the owner I think, is rude as all hell. She should not be working with an attitude like that and a big filthy mouth. Another ding bat told me that the store does not sell lox until I finally found it myself. I have called on several occasions and the phone was never answered yet the store was open. If I came 1/2 hour before closing I was told by a rude worker that they don't slice meat or cheese after 5: 30pm. I was asked "why did you come so late". Excuse me if some people work. My husband & I are really upset that Phyllis is no longer working there. She was always so kind, friendly and charming. Phyllis is a big loss to the store and Yagel Bagel has lost my business.

Love the food here, everything is always so fresh! Chicken salad and tuna salad are my kids favorites! My family in Toronto are such huge fans of the bagels that they go home with 3 suitcases full of them every time they visit!

Always fresh bagels, cheese rolls, always nice experience and amazing service. Greate variety of baked good, bread, been a customer for 20 years and hope to enjoy it for many more years to come.

Various choices of breads and bagels, fresh and delicious with reasonable prices. The staffs are very friendly.

Customer for the last 35 years since it opened. A great local bakery/convenience store with fresh bagels, rolls, breads, danishes and more. You can buy cold cuts, cheeses, deli sandwhiches, egg and tuna salads but also the little daily items you may need like eggs, butter, cream cheese, steak spices.

This gem has a great collection of freshly baked treats, day-old bargains as well as dairy goods.

Looove the bagels here (all the food for that matter). Super friendly staff and good prices.highly recommend!

Terrible. I'll NEVER go back. This is the ONLY retail establishment that I am aware of that does not accept currency/cash. When I asked why, I was told that it was the owners decision. No scientific basis for this.

Racist, if you’re of colour don’t go there. You’ll be unwelcomed and they’re very open about it. Went there twice and experienced the same displeasure. Shame

Love it. Most popular West Island fixture offering different sorts of breads (unsliced or sluced) and bagels from various sources and fresh treats like cheese danish and coffee cakes/rolls etc. They even have packaged Gefilte Fish (just under $10) and fresh soups etc. During pandemic 3 patrons limited in store at same time. Staff & patrons safely protected between full plexiglass at counter. Staff always helpful and polite. Nice.

Bought some bagels and hala egg rolls today could not believe it. The roll had a a bunch of hair inside the the hala bun. TOTALLY GROSSE,

I parked the car at their 20 minutes limit spot on a Friday night to get some bagels/rolls and also picked up dinner at next door. I walked to their entrance and many people stood there blocking the door and told me that I’m not allowed to park there. I was so mad, I wanted to buy bagels but you didn’t let me in. It’s not yet closing time. Fine! I moved my car, picked up my food and went straight to St Viateur Bagels. You are not the only store that has bagels. If it’s not on my way, I wouldn’t go to this rude and overpriced bagel place.

Always make it to Yagel Bagel when we head out onto the highway to come back to Toronto. Always pick up bagels for the gang back home.

Smells like a bakery. Good Bagels regular and Cheese, Good rolls, chopped liver, potato latkes.

Great selection however service can be great as long as you take a number. Prices however have gone through the roof. 1 doz bagels 2 breads $20?

I love this place. They are always polite, no matter how busy it is. They get their bagels delivered fresh daily from Fairmount and St Viateur. The hamentashen are very good. I have been eating their little man shaped sandwich cookies since I was s kid (even though they took away the other side of the cookie, to reduce costs I suppose). The cheese bagels are very good too. I don’t know what I would do if they ever closed.

The only Jewish deli in the West island that I know of, always fresh baked goods, andday old bread for those who like it like that.

Always stop when visiting Montreal. Can't beat Montreal bagels from Fairmont Bakery. Usually take home at least 8 dozen for family and friends

This is one of the great West Island delis. Staff is as friendly as can be, and the food is great.

Aside from all the baking they do instore, they also carry bagels from both Fairmount and St. Viateur.

And if I'm not mistaken, they're open every day till 9pm. And don't forget to take a number when you walk in.

The challah buns are to die for!
