Below Average Baklawa, overpriced and poor presentation.
I had given them 5 stars 2 years ago, but clearly quality and service took deep dive since then.

The most delicious sweets in Canada. The treatment is very good and the cleanliness is second to none. It is a wonderful shop in every sense of the word.

This is my absolute favorite Syrian patisserie, Greater Island of Montreal. The sweets and food are always fantastic, and no matter what I order, I am always delighted with my choices! Servers are also great and always efficient, happy, and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat kanafa, barazek, fried apricots (awama), qatayef, I lost count

Next time you go, get these halawat al-jeben and various pastries. You will not be disappointed as they are the best.

Family run Syrian sweets and home made food. My favorite sweet is warm Kunafeh with cheese. Server with syrop. I took the picture at home, same taste, but looks better when freshly cut.
Frozen food: Kebeh; if you don't the hassle of making Kebeb (usually fried at home).

Service de commande très médiocre. J'ai commandé par téléphone. Quand je suis allé prendre la commande, ils m'ont dit qu'ils avaient oublié ma commande.

I bet that the people who are giving this place a 5 stars never tasted authentic syrian or Lebanese sweets, we tried halweit el jeben, nammoura, and several other sweets, all tasted badely, i don't know if he is famous for other stuff, but what we tasted wasn't good, not really recommended

A couple runs the bakery. The man is a kind person but the wife is a nasty controlling woman. She treats each customer as a thief. She watches the hands of customers. Last time i was there, I wanted 500 grams of baklava and she gave me 600 grams. I said to her, please change it to 500 grams. She started laughing and saying that i am afraid to spend 4 dollars more. I was in total shock. How about you as an owner trying to force on customers to buy more so that you make 4 dollars more. I told her that if in Syria she functioned by sarcasm, control and disregard, now she is in Canada. Her response was, I am well equipped with all my rights and i do whatever i want. The poor man was not even able to say a word because she asked him to shut up. The sad part is some people move to Canada and try to screw customers the way they did in their country. In some countries, it is done on a regular basis and customers go back. I am hoping that she will learn and stop imposing or using sarcasm on customers to sell more. Time will teach her that she is no longer in Syria. One thing is sure, I will have all my circle to write a comment on this page and tell their stories with the woman who was also nasty to them. She had also argued for 50 cents with one of my friends' and yelled again to the husband.

C’est LA pâtisserie où l’on va pour offrir en cadeaux aux invités à la maison ou pour la famille durant le ramadan. Les employés sont super sympathiques. Un classique dans le quartier!

Le monsieur était très gentil avec moi! Il m’a donné une café ️ gratuit et un biscuit pour goûter! Une grand plaisir de venir ici!

Gâteaux bons mais les prix sont exagérés par rapport aux autres endroits, quand j'ai exprimé mon opinion à la dame, elle n'a pas accepté mon point de vue, j'y reviendrai pas.

J’adore nous allons à chaque semaine! Ça vau le coup! Nous somme de chambly sur la rive sur juste pour vous donner une idée

The real sweetness you find it when you visit Yasmin Alcham is the owner. He welcomes you with a smile a piece of baklava and he even offers coffee for free.
I liked this cozy place with si many YUMMY treats and other baked middle eastern pies.
They use real PISTACHIOS unlike the fake colored peanuts used by the other very famous series in Montreal.

The staff's hospitality and kindness are out of this world! The way they welcome you to their store is just amazing. They even took boxes of food out to my car because I was carrying my baby.
This shop and its owners are just what Damascus and Syria all about.

I am very disappointed with the “madloqa” I bought a couple of days ago. It is completely different than the traditional “madloqa” we know. The madloqa is based on “ashta” and the one I bought was mainly just Dough with very low quantity of actual ashta. It is really not worth it for the price I paid

Excellent endroit pour manger des bouchées de bonheur vraiment des produits de pâtisserie et de gâteaux vraiment délicieux et très très bon.
L'accueil est vraiment chaleureux toujours avec un beau sourire leur soucis c'est vraiment votre satisfaction.
Et en plus de tout ça ils sont serviables aussi
J'avais demandé un tournevis pour enlever ma plaque d'immatriculation et la dame n'a pas hésité a aller me chercher l'outil malgré le contexte de la pandémie.
Faites un tour là-bas vous serez satisfait

Personnel très gentil et accueillant, des baklawas et kunafa succulentes, goût très authentique, pas trop sucré juste le parfait équilibre.
Et dès l’entrée le parfum de la semna et du beurre fondu embaume la boutique, j’ai adoré!
