Food was good and the service was fast. The building itself, inside is aging and needs renovation. The price was very good.

This place is really awesome! The food was awesome and the service was great too. Prices are worth it and the sizing of the plates is nice. Really went here just after seeing the reviews and didn't get disappointed!

Chicken Taverna is awesome but the Greek salad is lacking.bland and tomatoes over ripe. 2 times now.

Title: don’t go there unless you want to give 20 or over tips for a small meal.
The whole restaurant looks a bit too dark for us. Door next to the table was open and it was too windy and cold. The dish was tasty and it does come with big size. The cashier was the negative side. When I asked for the bill and paid in cash, we left 15 dollars for the tips but the cashier was so obvious not happy and gave us a “ you are cheap” looking. Therefore, never going back again

I love this restaurant for grilled chicken lovers this is the place to go. You wouldn't be disappointed.

Just ordered a pork pita with coke zero through the doordash. There was no coke in the bag which was stapled. I called them they said they packed it, blaming it on a delivery guy. Chunks of pork were half raw and chewy. Not shaved like in real gyros. Based on this order staff of this restaurant is lazy and ignorant. I'm done with this place. This is Montréal, Québec, Canada - first world country. We Canadians deserve great service, great food and respect. If you're lazy and don't care about your customers don't bother doing it.

Great Greek food. Place needs a little TLC. Table sticky and wood banisters as well. Ceiling very stained. We were 8 ppl and the service was pretty good.

It is a restaurant where you can feel the taste of European style food with fresh ingredients.

I’m usually happy with the food and ordered regularly but I was very disappointed with my most recent order.

I called 35 minutes before the restaurant closing time to confirm if a pickup could be possible/ if the kitchen would be able to prepare the chicken in time and was told that this was possible and my meal would be ready in 20 minutes. The chicken was unfortunately undercooked and as the restaurant doesn’t open until 4 pm on weekends, I could not call them until then.

I asked if anything could be done to be compensated, and I was told that the meat was likely undercooked because there wasn’t enough time, but I wish I had just been told that it would not be possible to order rather than to receive undercooked meat that I was not able to eat. I was only offered $5 off for a future delivery but I would have appreciated a more understanding compensation.

EDIT: I appreciate the response from the owner and apologize for my harsh review and rating as I now understand that they are training new staff.

It would be unfair for me to leave a negative review without stating that my previous visits have all been pleasant both food and service-wise. Thank you for your understanding!

My favorite place to go, they have delicious food and more variety of food & drinks. Very friendly staff. It excellent atmosphere, only one thing; wish they would open for lunch on weekends too,

Best greek in town (2023). I tried several, but this one puts enough chicken and it's fresh and tasty, which is rare these inflationary and downsizing days.french fries are the same in all franchises.

There were 10 of us and there was a power outage at the beginning of the meal and there was terrible smoke that caused burning in the eyes and the hosts did not offer us to go out on the balcony and did not try to find a solution and charged full price for the meal

My family took me for my bday and we had a great time. They accommodated my food allergies perfectly. Will be back

Lol easily the worst service I have ever experienced. I hate leaving negative reviews, especially to a family business, and I get that COVID hit the industry hard, but you can't run a business with people with zero customer service skills. People just expect tips at this point, and will chase you out of the restaurant when they don't get any, just absurd.

The waiter had the audacity to chase us outside demanding a tip. Beat it

I went there to meet other people to eat and write postcards. Im Greek so I really liked the feta, olives and the lamb!

Everything is average and below. Bread is not fresh. Meet is chewy. Salad is below average. We wanted to share a meal. They charge extra for sharing!

Excellent greek food. We ordered the chicken stick, lamb stick, jumbo shrimp, fries, potatoes, rice and greek salad. Everything was fresh and tasty. The tzatziki is very tasty. Very friendly staff and great service. Highly recommended.

Good greek food, well prepared, Our waitress, Maria, was very attentive, professional, friendly and efficient. I'm sure that, do to a shortage of stuff, that's present everywhere, it took a little longer for the food to be prepared but it was worth the wait. The chicken souvlaki is good, oven potatoes great and a greek salad. For drivers, they have non-alcoholic beer. Due to popularity it was full and a little hard to have a conversation with someone that wasn't sitting near you. Otherwise a great experience.

Really amazing food and good portions. Our waitress Maria was very friendly, attentive, professional, efficient, and composed considering that she was alone to serve and the restaurant was packed. I had the chicken souvlaki pita platter, and it was very tasty.

Great Greek restaurant on Queen Mary close to Decarie and Snowdon metro. Went there for my girlfriend's birthday. Food is delicious. Ordered pikilia entree and Gyro chicken plate. Plenty of food. Great service and nice ambience. Highly recommended!

EDIT: March 14,2023.ordered from ubereats about an hour ago. The cold dolmades are canned cedar brand “stuffed vine leaves”. NOT fresh, NOT handmade. They look and taste disgusting and still slimy from the oil in the can, too. They didn’t even bother washing them to try to pass them off as the real thing, it’s shameless. I am Lebanese and this is a shared staple food in our cuisine as well – I know the real thing from the slimy, cheap stuff made in a factory. I paid $13 for something you can buy from Adonis or Akhavan for $3. Completely inedible, this is going straight to the trash. I am disgusted, shocked, and disappointed at the lack of quality and care, this place has really gone downhill.

Review from 2018: Amazing food, the best calamari I've tried in Montreal. The water tasted off so the waiter gave us complimentary water bottles and drinks. Everything was excellent from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out. Will definitely be back. 0/10.
