Worst experience getting new tires from this place. Was told to wait at bay one door, sat there for 2 hours just to be told that they forgot about me and business was closed for the day. Was scheduled to leave the province today now having to reschedule my trip due to the inconvenience. Wasn’t offered no discount or anything just told sorry place was closed for the day. Waste of time wouldn’t recommend them as a reliable source for tire changes. Update from myself/customer, A1 tire did reach out to me via telephone with a sincere professional apology. I do now think it was a honest mistake and this business urged me to give them another chance to make up for the inconvenience. I thank A1 tire for owning their mistake and working with me to make things right and insure best quality of service for my next visit.

I'm not one for writing reviews, but today is an exception.

Picture it. A typical Friday in January (-50 outside) in Saskatoon. The A1 Tire & Wheel team were able to order and install a brand new set of tires for me within hours. I appreciate that they gave me different price points for the tires on the phone. Then, when I showed up literally one minute before closing (on the same day) asking to get my lug nuts retorqued, a nice young chap (I wish I got his name, but he was working at the desk as well) was so kind and retorqued them - outside, in -50.

Thank you for all you did today. I've been a customer for years, but this reaffirms why I keep coming back. I have and continue to recommend you to all my friends and colleagues who needs tires!

Love this shop! I went to two different tire shops to mount my 3 piece wheels which are very uncommon in Saskatoon. They had no clue how to mount the tires and were just playing around with my wheels. Even had the nerve to charge me $$ for their failed attempt and lied about problems.

I went to A1 and Taryn installed them perfectly and knew exactly what he was doing! He unmounted, changed the tires and remounted it under an hour. I was throughly impressed. He was very knowledgeable and explained the whole process to me. The price point was crazy good for all the work that had to be done to mount my wheels. Definitely going to A1 to get work/install done + buy tires on all 6 of my cars in the future. Much Love - Crimson

I went to A1 Tire to get my seasonal tire exchange on Wednesday. As I waited, who I thought was a service employee, approached me to ask if I would like the covers for my tires since they make looking for them difficult so I agreed thinking they’d be clean plastic bags.
Fast forward to payment. The bill seemed higher than was expected. My first glance indicated that tire storage had gone up 20$. As I walked into the work area I commented about the increase and asked why there wasn’t a notification so I could decide whether or not I’d store them again. The same gentleman approached me. Turned out he was the owner. No answer was given. Only excuses about notification to clients about price increase would take too much time and how he had to raise prices on other services as well.
So I left to wash my car only to find the original bags for my tires just thrown in the trunk dirty. At least the individual who did this could have put them in a clean plastic bag. My call back to the owner only indicated that it was the worker’s fault. I always thought the head of an organization would take the hit for problems since they are ultimately responsible for their employees actions.

Fantastic service. Friendly staff. Tire change over from summer to winter in less than an hour. The only place I go for tire service.

I am a newer customer to this shop, previously dealing with a large corporate chain. I inquired about rims for my winter tires with Kal-Tire but the quote they provided was completely beyond my budget. I explained this to the customer rep and received a shrug with no offer of more affordable options. At A1 Anthony quickly offered me an affordable option for rims, understanding the idea of a budget! I regret not moving over to this shop much sooner. They did what they needed to do to make me a loyal and committed customer.

Fast and literally half the price of Kal-Tire - who patched my tire poorly and then wouldn't fit me in timewise when it soon deflated again. Called A-1 and it was done within the hour.

Awesome ppl work there very friendly. Service is awesome, very quick. Highly recommend this place.

Bought a set of used rims from them and a set of new tires. They installed them but in the process they broke the rims. Asked for a refund but they said it was my fault. I used to go buy lots from them but after this I’ll be staying clear. What a joke

Last time I went to A1 didnt even think to ask price before hand as I thought it was reasonable and was charged just about 100$ to have 2 tires changed. Popular garage charges 15$ per tire other tire shops around 20$. RIP OFF.shame as it used to be my go to place years ago. This winter I went to my new tire guy and had all 4 done 80$ tax in mounted & balanced. I will never ever do business with A1 again in my life and this year i have told many people to go elsewhere.

I go in during a very busy rush and it took a little while to get served but otherwise they were professional and the prices were quite good compared to other places in the city. Quite happy with their service.

Called to get my tires changed over. They got my in that day. I was told the tread depth for both sets of tires. Good service, profession staff.

Went to get a leaky tire fixed. They took the man in front of me with the same issue and said they couldn't take me. Couldn't recommend anywhere but did suggest I just keep filling it with air and call and book a time to get it fixed lol if I could give 0 stars I would. Lucky another place squeezed me in once I told them a1 refused service

Always get my tires from here you have a great choice for second hand and brand new tires and the best price in town

Randy went above and beyond. I had a tire repair done by A1 in May. When I went to switch to winters in October I noticed there was one wheel weight on the wheel they repaired, the other's had been removed. I looked at the remaining three wheels and they had at least 5 weights. I assumed A1 had screwed up. After taking the single wheel in I was shown that it was indeed balanced. Guess I'm going to have to get the other 3 looked at by them in the spring to fix the first shop's mistake.

Bought two Firestone all season tires. They were like new with very little wear. The cost was less then one new tire. Installation was done right away. Would buy again from them.

I'm from Ontario and I meant to do this review a long time ago. Lol. I have a '98 Trans am WS6 with a fairly odd tire size. I usually have 1 or 2 choices for tires every few years. I put 4 brand new tires on 2 years ago locally, then had a nail go through the tread and into the sidewall and wreck one last year. Of course the tread pattern was discontinued and I hadn't put many miles on, I really wanted a tire to match. I think I had a local place tell me that A1 had one of those tires left, couldn't find any remotely close to me. Lad I talked to was super nice and ensured he had the old style tread in his possession. He gave me a name of a courier local to him that had fair pricing. Had the tire show up and the car back on the road in a week. Can't recommend these folks highly enough. They could have told me I was insane, but they went above and beyond to get me what I needed.

Best place for all tire related solutions. They have huge storage of used tires as well as new ones. They are also very helpful. Best in Saskatoon!

Just amazing service! Fast, affordable and every time they truly seem like they care. I have been going to them for around 10 years, 3 vehicles for all my tire needs and everytime I walk away feeling like I had a great experience, they really go above and beyond. 100% recommend!

I was looking for some specific 22” rims which other places seemed to have a hard time getting for me. These guys ordered them in and they came within a week. Quoted me cheaper than any other place did as well. Fast and excellent service.

A1 tires are very professional and considerate. My son had put his winter tires in storage here for a year. They also have new and used tires to buy and their shop will put them on while you wait. They will also give you a quote for your used tires if you want to trade your old ones in.thank you for your understanding A1 staff

Went in with A slashed tire/Rim and got A great price and rim and tire switched over in 20 mins.

I came in unannounced for a tire pressure monitoring system repair and winter tire swap. Both the front counter staff and work-based off were friendly polite and went above and beyond for service.

It took 2.5 hours for a tire change and none of the employees except for 1 were wearing masks. When I asked the lady at the counter to put her mask on so I could talk to her she rolled her eyes.

Edit: The appointment was for noon, they didn't start until 1: 30 and took an hour to change 4 tires on rims. And it's interesting that the owner said nothing about the lack of masks.

Great service! Squeezed me in, got the tire in quicker than originally promised, and work done the same day, when they were definitely super busy.

A1 Tire is the best tire shop in the city! Their staff are super friendly and do such a fantastic job. I have never had poor service and have always had a positive experience! I highly recommend them!

Always good service here. Had a bolt into my tire and went flat. They plugged it and put patch as well to the inside of the tire, and as well patched 2 other plugs to ensure they wouldn't leak on me

I had a flat tire and it was beyond repair. They got me a new tire for very cheap & I will be back soon for a whole new set! Fast service and extremely friendly and helpful.

I've always had excellent service from A1. What I found especially helpful was their willingness to work on an emergency situation like a nail in my tire, immediately, to get me back on the road, even during their busy winter-tire changeover season.

Never had any problems with these guys. I gotta say, I went through the reviews that were less than 3 stars and they were pretty lame! Lol.

They did awesome jobs for me till last time, when I was installing new tires in the spring. Someone tied a lug nut in a wrong way, so it destroyed the lug nut and the stud threads. I discovered it accidentally when I was putting wheel spacers. The store manager reached me quickly and solved the issue.

Friendly and helpful service. Was in and out for a new (used) tire in less then a hour. Very happy with the service.

A1 is an excellent example of "local business dun good. " Since the first time I went to them, about a decade ago or so, they've been my dedicated tire service.

. And that's what I love! I'm a world where everyone is trying to be a jack of all, A1 has stayed true to being the master of one.

The service is spot on.friendly, of course, but business focused. They get you in, work fast and efficiently and you're done. Make an appointment and its even more efficient!

So, they're local, fast, friendly, specialized, and here's the kicker: no hidden costs. What they quote is what you get. More than once, I've been given a suggestion that SAVED me money.

Amazing service! Needed a cheap new spare for my van (tires for my van are hard to come by) Brett found me something that would work. Brought my rim, thought I would have to leave it and pick it up at the end of the day, they had the new rubber on in under 10mins and I was on my way. Still made it to work on time! A1 service! I have always hàd good, fast, and freindly service with a1 tire. But was disappointed with my last visit after spending $800.00 on new tires and they didn't even do a wheel alignment after it was all said and done.
Every other shop i called when pricing out the job the wheel alignment was included with the tires. I forgot to ask them that question, my bad, lesson learned & will definitly be going some where else for my next set of tires.

They were very quick, have a wide selection of new and used winter and all-season tires for some of the lowest prices in Saskatoon, and call back very quickly when you leave a message or request online.
All of the employees were incredibly informative, genuine, and friendly.

Friendly staff, great service, only needed a new spare tire mounted on a rim had me out the door mounted and balanced tire quicker than the invoice. Thank you very much. But it would be helpful to put some yellow lines for customer parking.

I 1000% recommend these guys. I had my tire stolen. They went above and beyond helping me. They stole my lug nuts so I couldn't even get my spare tire on. By time I got more lug nuts and got to them, they were closing. I had called earlier to ask what to do and he remembered me and helped me anyway. Totally made my day. Thank you so much!

Been coming here since my first car, love the service everyone is so nice and friendly. Always a quick service excluding the season turnover then the wait time is an hr or 2. Still better than going to my dealer and getting an appt for after 2 weeks.

They are very busy and it’s first come first serve so try and go on a weekday to avoid a long wait. Brett who works at the desk is a pleasure to deal with.
