Janice Munroe's review describes well the Aardvark Owner I have witnessed during a build in my neighborhood. I second the bad review. Unprofessional behavior.

As a neighbour of an Aardvark build I can say they are professional and respectful! Their houses they built beside me have great attention to detail and character. They have been a pleasure to have as a neighbour. I would highly recommend them!

I would not recommend this builder. I lived next door to an Aardvark build through much of 2019 and it was not a pleasant experience. Sure glad its finally over. Aside from being free of refuse and bits and pieces from the build ending up in my yard, I am also free from frequent trespass and, in my opinion, free from the unprofessional, bully-like and somewhat creepy behavior of the owner, the list of which is too long and inappropriate for this venue. Interestingly, the neighborhood grape vine seems to indicate I am not the only resident in the area to have had such an experience.
Near the close of the build, what I consider an unprofessional and not so cheery text was sent to my phone by the owner on December 26,2019. Perhaps it is appropriate to share it during the holidays!

Merry Christmas, you silly little angry grouches.
You've made this build highly entertaining and for that, we thank you.
We sent nice gifts to all of our neighbours, but because of all the great encounters we've had with you guys, I'm afraid you only get free advise this year.

Anyone else notice that his 5 star rivews are people that worked for him lol. The owner is extremely unpleasant and clearly has mentel issues. He also has yet to complete some of the contracts he signed when he sells a house.for example he still has not done landed scaping on a house he constructed and sold and it was in the contract. It's been 2 years

We had the opportunity to build a custom home with Ryan and Aardvark Builders in 2020. From the moment we sat down at our first meeting, we were impressed with Ryan's professionalism, design ideas, attention to detail and client focused approach. Ryan's many positive attributes as a builder start with his ability to understand his clients' ideas. He then brings his experience, creativity and understanding of space in a way that materialized the vision we had for our home. Most of our favorite aspects of our new home are directly from the ideas that Ryan brought to the design process. During the build, Ryan and Delaney were always transparent with budgetary items, and Ryan never made us feel bad for inundating him with countless messages and questions. He always made time to make us feel valued and important as clients. Our build finished on time and on budget and we absolutely love our new home. After we took possession in the fall of 2020, Ryan was always prompt and available for follow up for a few of the inevitable issues that come up with a new build, and he still checks in from time to time, outside of our regular warranty follow up. Building our home with Aardvark was an enjoyable process from start to finish and we would highly recommend Ryan and Aardvark Builders.

Aardvarks unique designs standout from other homebuilders and their team is great to work with. Would highly recommend!

Had the chance to work with Ryan and his team earlier this year as they prepared to hand over the keys of a newly built home to the owner. Every member of the team I encountered was helpful and patient, even as they worked feverishly to complete the many custom features of the home. I was impressed by the quality of the work and attention to detail. I was lucky enough to get tour of the house and it clear everyone working on it took great pride in their work.

If I ever have the opportunity to design and build a home, I will be calling Aardvark.

Patient, knowledgeable, passionate, collaborative, professional, genuine: these are all words that my wife and I would use to describe Ryan and his team at Aardvark.
We are not the fastest decision-makers, have grandiose visions and I have a disdain for spending money (lol) and yet over the past several months, Ryan has been there for us as we've explored numerous plans trying to find the "perfect fit".
He's taken his personal time on many occasions to meet or hash out ideas on the phone as I craft up another, "hey, what do you think about this? " idea.
We've had the opportunity to see a number of his builds at various stages of build and I've been impressed with the quality of every one: studs and lines are laser-beam straight, mechanical is planned out to the last 45 degree bend, opportunities taken to put in some custom touches with flooring patterns or beautiful exterior details that you won't find on a "pick Plan C" builder's home.
Ryan truly loves his craft; my wife and I appreciate his eye for design and suggesting ideas along the way to help guide us toward our dream home.

Watched this contractor building a house thru the whole construction process. Very unprofessional work, hard to believe he’s still in business. Do not use this company!

Iv watched this company work building a house for the 8 months.they use extremely cheap material, even walking by the house there is weather stripping peeling from the windows.they've had to come back and make repairs to the interior of the house after the people moved in. They work extremely unsafe, I've witnessed numerous safety violations. Ryan himself is extremely unprofessional, intimidating a woman, harassing neighbor's if he cannot get his way and has disregard for other people's property.

We have been working with Ryan and his team for close to a year now. We have always been impressed with their unique style, quality, and aptitude when it comes to custom features. We have seen many unique features on his projects that you just don't see anywhere else in Saskatoon. Ryan and his team make a point to be involved in the whole customer experience, ensuring proper communication between us, the home owner and other trades. We always look forward to working on their projects:). Keep up the great work!

I've seen a lot of builders work over the course of my career and I have to say that these guys really put focus on the details and quality, which is something that is lacking in new homes these days. Ryan and his crew are so genuine and knowledgeable, easy to work with, helpful and creative that I would recommend anyone looking to build to speak with them.
