RIP - ACE Burger.
Went 2 days ago and ordered 2 Burgers and some fries and a drink.
One of them was a gluten free bun and paid extra for it.
Honestly something is terribly wrong going on. Food was very very average and the gluten free bun was worse than a piece of cardboard.

The most irritating thing was the person on the counter. Extremely horrible, pathetic and bad attitude.
If you can't greet and smile to any customers, why the hell you take up this role.
Never wanna go again.

It's a mess to eat but the patty is delicious, the bun is squished but so sweet and soft, the pickles are crunchy and the onion has just enough bite to it. Fries are really good too. Oh, and it was only $5 (Tuesdays only).

I went today to grab some food for takeout because I’ve heard great things, although the food was pretty good - the service was awful. Both girls working were not friendly at all and were overall rude or just seemed like they hated being there.

Had the smash burger and onion rings. Ace burger is a bit on the expensive end, however they do make a really good burger. Love coming here.

Eating at ACE is the closest this atheist has ever come to having a religious experience. Legendary every time. The chili cheese fries hit different. Mushroom melt burger? Three syllable damn. Ddaaayyyuuummmmuuuhh!

Ordered the Mac daddy burger. The burger patties are always nice and juicy and the fries are super crisp and soft in the inside. The prices are pretty great too.

We didnt get our food. I need my money back. At least answer your phone if theres any inquiry like this. Not all your drivers are smart enough to go around the city. We never get our food. Your delivery guy Shubang didn't know where is he going. He should at least call the customer phone like the last time we ordered.

I never had a patty melt before it was tasty, the only downside was not having the toast, toasted longer.

The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly. I've eaten here a few times and wouldn't hesitate to go again. My daughter is vegetarian and loves their vegetarian options. I've tried them as well and would order the vegetarian option myself! Definitely give Ace Burger a try!

The whole restaurant concept is great and food taste awesome. A bit pricey, but it is a good option to indulge yourself once in a while.

What an awesome little neighborhood place. Priced well, simple menu, and excellent quality food. Just moved into the neighborhood, so very glad I found this place.

Usually I click photos but these guys make the food so fresh that you forget about that altogether. Great food amazing experience friendly staff. Definitely try the fries.

Literally the best burger and fries I have had in my life. (And I once waited 2 hours for a chicken burger in LA!) The burgers are so juicy, buns are soft, and homemade pickles really just make their burgers. The fries are always so crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. Actual perfection. If you haven’t gone here you’re seriously missing out!

I had a fish burger and fries. If the batter around the cod or sauce had more flavors, that would be really good! But the cod was deep fried properly in the proper temperature! It was soft, moist and juicy.
Whereas I thought the fries were a bit oily. Rice oil might work well when deep fries! Or let them rest on the kitchen paper towel.
But overall it was great!

First time here was absolutely amazing! Had the Truffle Mushroom burger. The patty was charred on the outside and juicy inside. Will definitely be back!

Nov 7 Edit: Ace Burger was divine, pure heaven. Fries Amazing. Words cannot express how good these burgers and fries are. Best in Town as far as I know of.

Sept 24 Edit: Fries still the best in town but Quality control needed on the burger, dropping review down to a 3. The most recent time I went, my burger was drowned in the ace burger sauce. Totally killed the experience, made it worse than a McDonald's burger. I'm hoping this isn't a repeat experience.

Original review: 5 stars. I need more ace cheeseburger in my stomach. The burger tastes so good. Get the ace burger, fries and chocolate milkshake for a good first-time.

The food is great, but the service was frustrating. We were the only people in the restaurant, and after the cook made our food, the three employees working at the till stood next to it, talking to each other and letting it sit there while we waited. One of them put a lid on one of our orders, then went back to talking to the other coworkers and completely ignoring that we were there, even though we were the only people in the building and that was the only order that was waiting to be sent out. About 5-10 minutes later they finally put it in a bag and gave it to me.

Not that great. Inconsistencies with taste and the prices are high for the quality. Though it has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Prices are bit high, and the wait is long. The fish burger was really good though, and I’d have it again. The fountain soda was perfectly carbonated. Seating area is nice.

Best burger place i’ve ever visited, the mac daddy is a 10/10 burger, would recommend the place to anyone and have definitely found my new favourite burger joint

First time trying this place, wasn't to impressed by the burgers. Frozen and very small with no really taste to the burgers. All you could take was mustard. Fries were good tho, wouldn't be back from the quality of burgers.

By far one of the best burger joints in saskatoon! Great staff and fast, amazing service. We will definitely be coming back!

My husband and I have been here a few times and have always been impressed by the food and staff. However, last time we went we waited around 40 mim for 2 burgers and an order of chili cheese fries. About 5min after we ordered a group of 4 ordered and their food was delivered before ours. And they mistimed our food so our fries were ready 10 min before our burgers so it was cold when we got it.

Overall I enjoyed the food here. However, I'm not a big fan of the prices (though post pandemic closures, I understand it to an extent). I had the Bacon Cheese Ace burger, which was prepared well. The patty tasted fresh, though felt rather small, and was slightly overcooked. The flavors and the other ingredients in the burger worked well. Ultimately though, $9 for a single medium sized burger is simply too steep. The chili fries tasted very good. The chili used was flavorful and substantial, and the sauces on top really brought everything together. The advantage and disadvantage of an open kitchen is that you see your food being prepared, and you also see employees with ungloved hands handling raw food. I did not see much in the way of hand washing either.

The food was worth going again. Food was great and it was a nice, clean and inviting environment. It was a sweet date night.

I really enjoy the burgers here! But the fish burger not so much. I tried their fish burger a while ago so hopefully it’s been improved? But it was so bad, probably mostly all fried batter and no fish, I was left hungry bc there was no substance to it just bread and fried batter!

Amazing food. The quality is worth the cost. At times they are a little slow. I run to the extra foods usually.

I had the Mac Daddy Burger, lettuce wrapped, my partner had the Truffle Mushroom Burger, and we shared fries.

I found that my burger and the fries lacked flavour. There was no mention of the lettuce wrap costing an extra $1, even when I asked. And my partner noted that the burgers were small for the price. On top of this all, they don't even use real cheese, they use processed (at least it tasted like it) - gross at the cost the burgers are.

The person behind the till also could not stop grabbing their pants around their pubic region.

Overall not a good experience.

The Ace Burger was good, but the Ambiance is very cold.
They should do something with the floor and I found the room very smelly, it smelled like dirty socks.

Solid burgers for a solid price. Has an atmosphere like burger joints in larger cities which I appreciated. Felt like a hip spot in Portland and that's a great thing.

This is a good place to go and grab food. In Saskatoon. These artsy farsty normal burgers are made with best of meats.

Im super glad that there is a good burger joint on Broadway. Though I miss Lydias!

Burgers were well seasoned and amazing. Price is reasonable but just would be better if they offered a meal combo (burger/fries/pop). Would recommend this burger to anyone

Food is pretty good. Meat seems fresh. Service is sooooo slow and the people behind the till don’t seem to know what’s going on. They’ve been open 6 months and their website still says coming soon. So it’s hard to get any details on this place before going.

Amazing food, burgers might not seem big but don't let that fool you. Great flavor and looking forward to trying more food from the menu!

Love the service, but beverages and fries are not included in the burger price. It would be nice to have a kind of combo

It was ok. I came highly recommended by a colleague but it didn't quite live up to the hype. I ordered the double cheese on a lettuce bun (which is an extra dollar.), And it was tasty, but not enough to get me full. My friend also came with me, but her experience was less enjoyable, as the staff lost her order and she was forced to wait over half an hour for a hamburger, despite mine only taking 10 mins to receive. The inside of the building is too loud, echoing the entire time i was in there.

I was excited to see the return of Ace Burger after experiencing their evolution from Congress, to their food truck, to a very 'meh' stand-alone restaurant. The burger itself was tasty, but $10 for a wimpy 1/3 lbs patty and no fries; come on guys!

The interior is sleek and modern, and the busy atmosphere is encompassing, even if it is a bit loud. The patio is a nice touch, but without servers to bring you, well.anything, it's kind of annoying considering they ask for a tip. The front menu is a bit misleading and poorly designed, luckily their pamphlets are much easier to decipher.

Overall, a good start, but I probably won't be returning until they have the kinks worked out.

Not very impressed. Fries were good. Burger wasn't very good (much better options in the city). Milkshake was terrible (kids wouldn't even drink it).

I am sorry, I don't want anyone to lose their business, but I threw my meal in the garbage.

There was no flavour. It was all goopy with mayo, the fries were processed ones. I wouldn't recommend it.

I read these comments before I went and I obviously have different taste buds then the ones that spoke highly of the place.
