Angeethi Flame Fine Indian Bistro

Decent place to dine in and liked the food and atmosphere. The service is amazing. We met a cashier name Lovekiran there. Loved to talk with her and had amazing time.

Much recommended if want to try Indian veg food.

Angeethi is incredible! The food is authentic and quality. The lamb jalfreezi, papri chaat, and tandoori chicken are my favorites, and the Naan is always fresh from the tandoor.

The dine-in environment is upscale and enjoyable, I thoroughly recommend this place to everyone!

The taste of food is very bad i don't why there are still open. We order couple of different dishes and all of them was like watery. The naan was so hard couldn't even chew it. It is just wasting money and time.

If you want cold food that takes 2-3 hours and being hung up when you ask about your order that’s over an hour late, this is your diamond in rough! 5 stars for terrible service and cold food!
My poorly trained dog didn’t even beg for food, in his defence the food took so long, people went to bed. If you like butter chicken that tastes like 99c ragu spaghetti sauce that comes in the can, you can’t go wrong with this place! I usually don’t trash places so hard but the service was terrible and rude!

I am now down rating Angeethi from 5 stars in 2019 to 1 star in 2021.

On 2 occasions, I ordered the late night take out of butter chicken, rice and 2 samosas. On both occasions, I was very disappointed. The samosas were soggy with oil. The rice was overcooked and soggy too. The chicken was overcooked and very dry. The chicken portion was not generous. The sauce was watery.

Was good fresh food. Clean restaurant. I had earlier gone to a Indian restaurant which ranked high on TripAdvisor bit clearly their ratings were fake since my experience there was not great. This restaurant was way better.

I ordered butter paneer with garlic naan for takeout. It was damn delicious and fresh as well. The customer service (by lovekiran and manpreet) was very good. Must visit this place.

If you are a non east indian and want to try indian food, do not go to this place, the food has been very bad recently, not sure if its a change of ownership or change of chef but do not go here. The food we ordered was burnt, the sabzi was too too sweet. Ever tried spicy paneer sabzi that tastes sweet?
I am hoping that the business should read the recent reviews and make changes otherwise they will loose its customers for sure.

Yum! Ordered from here for the first time tonight and was impressed! I was happy with the variety of the menu and it was ready fast. We had muttar paneer, chicken biryani, and lamb jalfrezi. You could taste every spice and it was so fresh. There were lots of big chunks of chicken in the Biryani and the lamb dish was super flavourful. We'll be back!

Having worked in a restaurant business I will rate
both food and service experience as poor. I ordered business lunch to go, butter chicken, Nan, steamed rice, veggie samosa. The samosa, butter chicken and Nan was poor. The portions were quite small for the price. Will not be going back again.

Ordered food worth of $100 one hr early and when went to restaurant I had to wait for 20 mins to get served. I asked them to make food medium spicy but all food was very mild and not tasty at all very bad experience. Everything I ordered while dining in took more than expected time. Very poor service and bad taste of food. I won't be going back there ever again, very disappointed.
Restaurant was not even clean when I went. They start cleaning while I was dining in.

One and only restaurant in Saskatoon where you can get authentic Indian taste and good customer service. Highly recommend.

Worst customer service.food came after 30min and then waited for another 10min to order more naan bread.its wasn't busy and had 2 waiters none came out from kitchen literally had to knock the door.food was ok

Used to be my most favorite restaurant but not anymore. Please focus on consistency of your portion sizes and same recipe. And why short staff?

Really slow service.waited more than 40 mins and asked at least 2 times how long it would take to get food, each time the waitress would say 3 mins.and we got food after waiting for an hour. Won't come back here again.

They don't serve fresh food, naan was store bought and curries were very old, there are many indian restaurants in Saskatoon that serves fresh food and very tasty so don't waste your money by going to this restaurant.wish I could give zero star

Reviewing this place based on experience over three visits in the last two months. Only one server all the time, who has to do everything. Server is extremely lazy, doesn’t communicate, and have no intention to provide a good customer experience cause definitely not happy with the job. To the owner, please hire more workers.

Food preparation is good. However the service is not up to the mark. Took a lot of time during our visit which made the dine-in experience average.

First time tried their food by skip. What a disappointment man. Naan was chewy like plastic. Paneer tikka had hardly any marination and also was dry like plastic. Rice was not fresh. Wouldn't try this place again. Very disappointing

I NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. Customer service is extremely poor, sometimes no response even she knew that we wanted her help. The waiting time between two foods was 40 minutes. Highly dissatisfied with all the services. Even I told her to make spicy it was sweet. No care of customers and their time. I will never ever go to this restaurant and never recommend as well.

I am writing this review because its been the third time we had the same kind of tasteless food. The first two times we order online nd we thought may be the quality changes until the food gets delivered so we decided to dine in this time. We went to this place after a while nd the quality of food change disasterly. I personally was so shocked because I used to love the food of this place and tell all my friends to visit this place to taste the quality of Indian food but I guess not anymore.
I don't know what happened to this place they changed the chef or might be some other reason.but the quality of food we had today was so tasteless that we didn't like the food at all even though we were so hungry that time. It seems like a waste of every single penny.

Me and my husband were so disappointed. They were busy today seems like don't know how to handle the rush or may be because they had a big group of people for dine in.they took the other customers for granted nd seems like just trying to get rid from the rush. I found it very unfair because we didn't mind spending money but we didn't deserve that kind of quality of food at all. Atleast the girl who was attending us were nice but the chef did some disaster to the food.seems Iike he was not happy nd just did a formality to get rid from our order. We will not recommend other people to go there if they will get the same kind of quality. Nd we will definitely won't visit this place in future

I was served cold rice at first, then ordered a lamb dish but the meat tasted soo bad like a strong after taste as if it want fresh or cooked few days ago, Service was bad too.

Wish I could give them 0 rating.this place is horrible, today I ordered vegetarian Lunch dish, and I also order side mango Lassi. Samosa had very bad smell seems like it turned bad, I don't know when did they made it but looks like it was not fresh at all and it was undercooked I can literally taste the dough, had to through it away and they forgot to put lassi in my order. I don't know how this place has 4.5! Will never order from this place again

The food was savoury and quite exquisite. It was our families first time there and we will definitely go back again.

The food was good but the service was terrible. Another man was complaining right before we paid. Something shifty happened with our bill too. I didn’t drink my lemonade (horrible!) and asked for it to be removed from the bill and somehow the bill was the same. Had to ask 4 times for our drink! Not sure what was going on but won’t go there again.

I had a lamb business lunch menu. It comes with a fresh samosa, lamb curry, rice and nann. The samosa was fresh cooked and a green sauce came with was amazing. The lamb curry was also really good.

I keep visiting this restaurant. Its my favourite place in saskatoon. Food is so delicious and the server Arsh served us very well.

The well known Lamb curry smells awful. Couldn’t even finish the meal. Chicken tikka is basically butter chicken with a new name.

Had lunch at Angeethi Flame for the first time today. Lunch combo for great price and the butter chicken was SO good.
