We were at this clinic for our 1st visit a month ago. The vet that treated our pet was amazing. We are new to Canada and we wanted to get our pet a general checkup and the vet was absolutely amazing in answering all our questions and ensuring she checked our dog well. The only concern I see for new comers is the lady at the reception who was being very rude to us for no reason from the time we arrived and would go talk to all the dogs and evidently ignoring to acknowledge our pet when he was trying to converse with her. We were asked to get to the clinic by 1.30pm and got to meet the vet only around 3.30pm, when i asked this lady at the reception how much longer it might take just so we could inform at work, she responded so rudely. It is so important to have mature people in customer service that directly impacts the reputation of a place.

Love these guys! They are really good and always easy to get in to see. They genuinely love animals. I highly recommend them!

The veterinarians are very caring. They make sure that your pet is comfortable during exams. The system here is a little different as it is a walk-in clinic, so you can't make an appointment but they have adapted with a phone in method that works really well.

Got called my dog was next went there and then they said it was still gonna be a while ended up being over 2 more hours. They tell me to come back at 9am the next day and that I’ll be able to get in quick then. They tell me 6 hours. Not sure what the point of that is. Waste of gas and time.

Not a great experience. We called and they told us what time to bring our dog. We brought her at that time and they said they would call. They called and told us to bring her. When we brought her the staff had an argument with each other and they sent us away. They told us to bring her at 9 am Saturday so we did and they said the wait would be 6 hours. Unless your dog gets hit by a car we wouldn't recommend this place. It doesn't fit the walk in idea, maybe animal ER.

Not too long of a wait and the vet was very thorough and thoughtful. Great experience with two nervous kitties.

Great experience! Only had today to get my dog to a vet before babysitters are out of town and I wouldn’t be able to take my dog. I love their walk in system. I called in the morning and they put me on the list for the day. They called me when it was time to start making my way there. Short wait to get in, short wait for medication and invoice. Really nice vet with follow up plan. Really nice receptionist as well! Will be back for sure! Highly recommend. Thank you!

After losing one our fubabies at the beginning of March, our other furbaby started to do downhill. We decided to look for a new vet. Dr. Sawa is amazing. She was able to explain to us what was happening and gave us room to accept what was best for our furbaby, called to check on him while we were coming to a decision. Her care and concern are truly admirable qualities we look for in a vet.

Had to have my 16 year old cat euthanized to end his suffering. 2 weeks later I still don't have his ashes back. They claim they didn't fill out the paperwork and his remains are still sitting in their freezer. I'd give 0 stars if I could!

This is a great place. They are very friendly and great with my aging dog. An added bonus is that they aren't super expensive either which is great. And they are open weekends.

Dr Sawa is the best Veterinarian in Regina. I took our dog Daisy her clinic on Saturday. The staff was wonderful. Dr Sawa was awesome as usual. Thanks also to Kim at the front desk.

Tell others why I love this place? Hmmm well Dr. Jinks saved our pup’s life. They showed empathy and patience to us at a time where we were not thinking clearly. Cannot say enough great things about Dr. Jinks and the team. There is not much more I can say. They love animals, that is clear. Will forever be grateful to them.

My faith in this business which goes back to the 'sixties and, obviously, to its founder who I knew well, has been fully restored. Truely a great place to take that most precious friend.

The only place to go if you have a small animal. Our rabbit has been well cared for by this place, and the prices are actually quite reasonable.

Just want to say this clinic is amazing. Toke our baby Chester there today for abscess that opened on his neck. Got in as soon as they could and treated him like there very own. So grateful for them. Got him cleaned up and on the right path. Thank you so much for the care.

Incredibly unprofessional office staff. Was hung up on TWICE while trying to speak with office about having my sick animal seen. Called promptly at 0900 as opening hours instructed on the website. Was told "I'm to busy right now, you'll be put on hold for at least 15 minutes or you can call back", and was then hung up on. Waited as I was instructed and called the office for 2nd time and was promptly hung up on again without even getting the chance to speak. Inexcusably rude and unprofessional. Have been using this vet clinic for several years and have been disappointed with particular office staff on more then one occasion.

Sometimes there's a long wait. But the staff are knowledgeable and able to explain issues in a way that is easy to understand.

Excellent service. Fast, booked me in short notice even with never having my dogs there before.

The vetenarian was very compassionate and allowed us time to say goodbye to my daughter's dog when there weren't any treatment options to prolong his life.

This was my first time at this clinic I’m so impressed that this will be my new veterinarian. The service was outstanding they call and give you updates during the day, my little girl had to get teeth extracted and a cleaning. Thank you for the amazing service!

We went here after receiving the same prescriptions over and over for a chronic ear infection with our dog. Unlike our old vet, Dr Sawa swabbed and tested the ear and offered new possible solutions that the old vet never even mentioned. The service was friendly and efficient. Very pleased with the experience!

Well, with good service comes line-ups!

Staff was friendly over the phone, but they did not take American express. And I was not allowed inside with my dealthy dog. We ended up going elsewhere.

Long waits, never give you answers and expensive. Many better vets out there with more pleasant staff.

It is too bad that after 10 years of service and the lost of 2 pets, which I feel could have been prevented, we decided to try other options, but bad things still happen, as I said, for almost 10 years this was the most reliable place to bring my babies for their health needs, I do not know what happened exactly but after the pandemic started, things started to changed too, the care doctors gave us during these years was 99% first class care, I think this clinic has great doctors who care about their patients but as any human I feel the pandemic has put a toll on their capacity and services started to changed for the worst, opening the door for mistakes, (fatal mistakes) and mistaken diagnosis. I should had go to another clinic when I lost my first pet, but hey! The past is the past and all we can do is learn from it, that is why I decided to leave this clinic, the one I go now, gives me the service I really want when it comes to discuss my pets health needs, this clinic has great doctors I hope things get better for all of us and normality returns anytime soon, but I have to look out for my babies having one of them with a permanent dis-capacity that will make her life harder as she age. Today I took my 1.4 year old Syrian Hamster Maple to be seen as she was in major distress and considered an emergency for a large distended abdomen, lack of appetite and overall being unwell. I already was prepared for the worst outcome of her being euthanized, and my fears were brought to light. Dr. Jinks was incredibly compassionate and kind towards our lovely Maple, and towards myself and my partner with our clear upset over the whole situation.

The overall experience though heart breaking was very smooth, and affordable. The staff took extra care to allow us inside the clinic even during this pandemic out of the cold as we do not drive and needed to take a cab in -40c weather.

For anyone who has an exotic or pocket pet, I highly recommend taking them to see Dr. Jinks here at the Animal Clinic of Regina. You may need to wait as this is a very busy hospital, but you will be rewarded with excellent care.

Thank you Dr. Jinks for making a worst-case scenario for our lovely, sweet Maple hurt a little less for us, and for her.

I should of done this a long time ago I just want to say thank you to all the staff for everything you do for my dogs no matter how busy you all are you always make time for my dogs I'm grateful for all of you and I always know my dogs are in good hands with all of you so again thank you all very much

This was a fantastic experience the 24-hour vet clinic gouged us and charged us and did not even help us. We came to Animal Clinic of Regina and had amazing fantastic service they even gave us credit for a bad experience at 24-hour animal care now that's good business highly recommended take your pets here

I have taken my dogs here for YEARS.
My first dog wound up being a blind diabetic and they are truly the only place that I would trust him going. I will always recommend the animal clinic of Regina to anyone whether they are asking or not! 20 stars out of 5 in my books.

I had the worst experience of my life at this horrible place. Most ignorant staff, wouldn't let my sister see her dog or give her dog back, after an exam. And the dig needed to be put to sleep. My sister has had this dog for more then half of her life, at only 22! This was her baby.

Among the best in Regina the only vet clinic my family deals with. Professional and courteous staff with very knowledgable and friendly vets.

First off, I want to clarify: I love this clinic, as Dr Jinks has been amazing with a number of our animals. We have been using this clinic for years, and they have always been amazing for us. However, this past August 2nd, we went to get our new puppy (from the Humane Society) a checkup, we waited a half hour for someone to answer the phone, then got placed on hold for another 15 minutes. I was not impressed, as people that got there after us got served first. I left, as I live 45 minutes out of town, and had more work to do at home. I know that the wait can't be helped, but 45 minutes on the phone and no service is unacceptable.

I really wish I could leave them ZERO star! Called in for an appointment at 2: 45, arrived on time and try to call them but the line was busy, and wait a couple minutes they answered the phone says that somebody will come shortly to get your pet in. And we wait for 20mins, no one shows up, that was august 17 at 3pm, it was like 40 degrees outside, I was cooked in the car! No one show. Then we called in again, we were told that there is an emergency right now, not sure how long should we need to wait, and let us leave and come back tomorrow. I’m really disappointed, if you are not sure if I can get in today or not, why do you let me come and wait? Why should I waist my time and gas to come to you? Rude reception even didn’t say sorry, pretending this is my fault to come to them. If you don’t want to waste your time and gas, don’t go there.

Our cat was in a lot of pain thought it was Crystal's in his urinary track again, nope he had an infection in his bum and Dr Jinks was great had him fixed up in no time, she made sure that it was the right problem she was fixing, Just didnt want to give him meds and move on. Great service! We have a happy cat again!

When my cat got bitten by a dog and developed an infection they let me bring him in right away with no wait. They looked him over and gave me everything I needed to get him healthy again. I was done in 45 minutes
The doctors are great and the staff was super friendly. My cats all healed up now and we both thank you so much!

On Thursday, June 18th, we lost our ten year old wire haired dachshund Bounty. He had been at the Regina Animal Clinic earlier that day to have an x-ray taken of his elbow as he was limping. He ate the night before and ate that morning. The vet noted that he had an enlarged heart and was lethargic. She did not question us on his behaviour and in fact Bounty was allowed to run around in the back and they ‘lost’ him under some crates. She did not suggest blood work or anything else.
We have gone to this clinic not only with Bounty for his entire life but also three other dogs we’ve had. We do not worry about costs when it comes to the care of our fur animals.
Three hours after leaving the clinic, Bounty passed away. Initially, we thought he might have been poisoned as the dog next door was quite sick or perhaps when Bounty was lost in the back room of the clinic he got into something.
We called first thing in the morning and indicated he had died and we wanted an autopsy done in Saskatoon on him to find out exactly what had happened. We indicated we would be bringing him in and asked to speak to Dr. Lesley Sawa, the owner of the clinic. We were promised our message would be passed along.
We arrived at the clinic and brought him in at a side entrance. We again asked to speak to Dr. Sawa and again were promised the message had been passed along.
We made arrangements with the Vet College that once the autopsy was complete, Bounty was to go to the Crematorium in Saskatoon and we arranged to purchase a special urn.
We got the results through the Regina Animal Clinic and they sent us an email with the report.
Bounty’s ashes arrived back at the Animal Clinic on July 30th, but we had to track down where he was. The Animal Clinic did not call us to let us know he was back in Regina. We went and picked him up.
To date, we have never heard from Dr. Lesley Sawa and we will never recommend this clinic to any of our friends and family.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The vet I dealt with was so great. The price for my dog's shots was fantastic as well. I won't go anywhere else.

Not impressed, have been getting all of our pets vaccination here and you would think that you are building a relationship. Turns out we called once because our puppy wasn't feeling so great and they charged us 80$ for phone consultation without even mentioning it to us

Dr Sawa and Dr Durling are the best in the city. They were able to catch and perform an emergency surgery on my dog in 24hrs. Dr Durling was very thorough with after care instructions. And Dr Sawa is also super informative and never makes me feel like I'm being pushed out, no matter the time. I've been going to this vet for years and this place has always treated up with kindness, and respect. I HIGHLY recommend this place!

Always friendly service, they take great care of my dog and I trust their opinions. They never try to oversell anything. I like the convenience of having the Walk-In service, meaning no appointments need to be made. This means sometimes service is quick, sometimes you might wait a while.

We go to this clinic for basic checkups, shots, and emergency visits.

The associates, the techs and especially Dr. Durling are the most caring and exceptional care givers. I highly recommend this clinic for all your fur babies needs.

2nd time at this vet office as I needed to have an eye pressure test done on my golden following an appointment at the veterinary ophthalmologist. The vet I saw did not even introduce herself, I didn't know if I was speaking to a vet or a technician or just some random person off the street. She quickly did the pressure test and when I asked for a copy of the result that was to be emailed to the specialist was told in a condescending tone of voice that she would jot it on the invoice. Unprofessional - having worked in health care all my life I would never have spoken to a patient in that manner. Not impressed with the walk in part either, the first time there waited an hour even though there was barely anyone in the waiting room. They did give me a reference to the ophthalmologist, so for that I will give it 2 stars.

Worst experience try to charge $3400 to what they say heal and make better wow poor guy i am then want me to put her down for 380 more$$$ went to red barn on sask drive saved my companion for Just less than $1300 hero they will get all my animals care and word of mouth the best place ever on sask drive RED BARN

Dr Jinks put a sincere personal touch everytime we take our pets in there. Her compassion and service is of the highest quality I've ever experienced.

The reason for the deduction of that last star is that the wait felt really long to me. That being said, the staff are kind & helpful, and the doctor we met - Dr. Jennifer, is super professional, patient and thorough! I definitely feel like I can trust this place when it comes to my puppy’s health! A little bit on the expensive side but worth the peace of mind!

This clinic is a walk in clinic, so we had to wait for a long time until we so the vet. That being said the staff were really welcoming and nice, and the veterinarian (Jeniffer) seems to be super professional and our puppy felt comfortable with her. Medically I trust them. I find it quite expensive (the visit alone were 80$ before anything) but if you want to make sure your pet is well, that’s the place to go to.
There’s a free parking lot outside.

This is such a great place. Everytime I've come the staff and vets have been vary helpful. Great people, fair price. All around good place.
