Don’t shop at Ashley Furniture! Trying to return something is a complete nightmare. They will make no exceptions if you don’t request a return within 48 hours. They will not bend from “store policy” at all. Terrible customer service. I don’t know any other company that refuses a return if it’s not made within 48 hours of receiving your product. I mean what if you hadn’t even opened the box to look at it within 48 hours? I will not be shopping here ever again and will tell everyone about my bad experience. You might want to amend your company “policies” if you want to keep customers. (Btw Ashley homestore at this location is fine. It’s just the company I have a problem with. Not the physical store. The salesman we dealt with was nice enough.)

I purchased a sofa from the Ashlyn Saskatoon approximately 20 days ago. From the very first day of delivery, the sofa had some issues. I reached out to the customer service multiple times, even sending three messages to their AI-powered chatbot, but unfortunately, I did not receive any response from the customer service team. I am deeply disappointed with the poor service and overall customer dissatisfaction.

We frequented The Ashley HomeStore for over 10 years.
Overall I find the service to be very good. Most recently we have been dealing with Abby who is delightful.
We do price comparison for everything we purchase. We try to balance quality and price.
We are not loyal to Ashley homestore. However we have been the most satisfied here.
In the past 10 years more than 70% of our purchases end up at Ashley homestore.
In general our expectations have been meet with no bad experiences.
We adjust our expectations to align with the quality/price availability in the retail sector today.

I booked a king size bed on 26 June and the salesman billed us without giving any delivery date, he said we will get delivery date in 2 days, after two days he said another 2 days and it went UpTo 8 days and then he stopped picking up our calls and when I asked him to cancel my order, he said you will be charged 10 percent (there is no such policy) I called Ashley customer care and cancelled my order on 7th of July, today it's 19th of July, I didn't get my refund yet. It's so frustrating. It's been almost a month and my money is stuck with Ashley.

The delivery people were pleasant and efficient. Had our furniture together quickly and cleaned up all garbage and took it with them to dispose of. Very pleased with delivery service!

Everything was great from the sale to the delivery. Delivery team was careful and cleaned up after they were done. Furniture was packaged extremely well which I appreciate.

Delivery people were amazing. The sofa I ordered almost didn’t fit my door but they went above and beyond to get it into my place. I also appreciate the live tracking system that they have, allowed me to adjust my schedule for the day accordingly.

Update on previous reveiw, Buyer Beware! My sofa was delivered Aug 8th within a hour I noticed it was damaged in two places. I immediately called the store and was directed to guest services. They gave me a number to text my issue to which sounded like an automated responce. I also had to send pictures. I was told I would receive a responce within 48 hrs. The responce was they were going to send replacement parts. I called guest services and said I didn't want parts I wanted it replaced. I was assured they had all the blueprints and if would be fixed to pristine show room condition. I have since received a parcel that contained fabric to be replaced. I called guest services and told her I just wanted to return the sofa. I was told I couldn't as it had been over 48 hrs. I told her I had contacted guest services within a couple hours of receiving my sofa. I now have a technician coming Sept 14th to fix my brand new sofa in my house! This only fixes one of the issues he will look at it and make arrangements to have the other issue which happens to be a hole fixed. My husband went to the store and spoke to the manager. He was sympathetic to our problem but didn't have the authority to let me return it. I am sure guest services is in the United States and that is where the material came from. I will never shop at Ashleys again or recommend them to anyone. Once the sale is made the store has no control over the products.

Sales people are very friendly and fairly knowledge about the products. If they couldn't answer your questions or find what you were looking for they would find another staff member that could. Ashley's has a good selection of furniture and decor. I would definitely shop there again.

I was interested in purchasing a furniture set for my living room. When one of their employees began helping me and my boyfriend i treated very poorly. I was the one trying to purchase the set, making this obvious by asking questions and engaging in conversation while my boyfriend looked at our paint samples and sat on the couch. The employee made very little eye contact with me, consistently looking at my boyfriend and trying to talk to him instead. We requested a quote and confirmed with the manager that it would be valid until end of day the next day.when she left this employee began telling us that we wouldn't get the price tomorrow like the manager had said. When we finally got him to make the quote, he put my boyfriends name as well as mine on the quote despite me asking for just my name. He also tried to hand the quote to my boyfriend twice before i took it from his hands. On top of that when we later looked at the quote he had attached another persons quote to ours which included all of their personal information.
The next day i went to the manager and explained the situation.she thanked me for coming to her to allow her the opportunity to help, but then proceeded to do nothing for us.

I went into Ashley in saskatoon to buy a bed. My dad had left me money and I decided to use some of it to get myself a king bed. While there, I saw a reclining couch for a good deal so decided to get it and the matching chair also. The bed I wanted was not in the store so had to go from a picture online. I had said (in front of salesperson) well if it's not what I want I guess we can just return. Went through with my purchase (total of $8800). Got my delivery dates. My bed arrived and when we took it out of the box. Both the footboard and headboard was damaged. Not to mention this tacky glitter bar that in pictures looked like a grey insert. Decided it was not for me. Called the service department, told them of the damage a d that I didn't want a new one of that but would reorder a different one. Was told I had to pay a 10% restocking fee and that I had signed it on my papers. The salesperson did not tell me about it when I had said about returning it if I didn't care for it. If I wanted my money back to go somewhere else it was a 25% restocking fee. When I went into the store today to order the new one, they told me I had to pay a difference of 285. I asked if he could do a better price since I had to pay this restocking fee after spending 8800 at their store. He said he could not do anything and would talk to the manager. Came back less than 5 minutes later and said no they couldn't do better. I said I would like to speak to the manager as I felt I spent a lot of money there this time and in the past. He said she was busy in a meeting. So how did he talk to her? He didn't. I told him I was very dissatisfied and would never shop there again. He just said ok, like he didn't care. They got my almost 10 grand so who cares. So if you can shop some where else, anywhere then that's what I recommend to anyone who likes to feel appreciated and that they matter.

They assure you signing up for their card is the best option. You are told if you change your mind you will be charged 10%. I did change my mind, fair enough, BUT the 10% became 15 %. There is NO way to talk to anyone about this issue. I will never shop there again. I should have known. The police were in the store my first time, dealing w/ an upset customer.

I previously had a 5 star rating but I retract that and change it to 1 star. Avoid Ashley furniture and avoid temper pedic. Wife and I splurged on a temper pedic and we were assured that “it will last 20 years, if there even a 3/4” sag we’ll come check it out and give you a new one, no questions asked. Within a year our new mattress developed “soft spots” where we slept and left a ridge/spine down the middle. We were literally sleeping in holes in our mattress. It took them almost 6 months to finally get an inspector to look at it. And they replaced it.
Only 5 months into getting our new mattress we noticed the soft spots developing again. They sent inspectors but temper pedic changed their warranty that the mattress needs to sag 1.5” to quality for warranty…1.5”!
After only 5 months ours had sagged almost 3/4”, both inspectors also said they noticed an obvious deformity in the mattress.
It took them 3 months to reply to me saying the mattress doesn’t quality for warranty.
At least we got the mattress on sale, but now we are throwing out $2300 and have to fork out cash for another new mattress so we can have a decent sleep.

Bought a couch there two years ago paid for the extended warranty. It is a scam not worth it. Anything that happens to your furniture they will say is normal wear and tear. Our couch fabric was peeling it is not leather it was not scratched it was not torn. Our love seat looks amazing couch is the problem. We called in had to make a claim through basically text messages. You don’t get to speak to a real person. I sent the photos and they wouldn’t take so than I called in and asked for email to send my photos as the number they gave was not working. A rep at warranty services gave me an email said I would hear back in 2-3 bliss was days. 3 weeks go buy I call in and nothing there is nothing on file. My emails were not looked at I have to start the process all over again from scratch. I once again go through ball the steps only to get notification a day later that it is normal west and tear. It is absolutely not so I call in and ask to speak to small manager. I wait on hold as all are busy. I wait for an hour cause I know if I get off the phone a manager will never ever call me back. Finally they say manager will call you back in 10 minutes. I say okay as I’m beyond frustrated at this moment. This was July 9th todays is July 31st and still no call, no nothing. I want this resolved now.

One of the most frustrating experiences - 2 months in and the couch sags, took me more than 5 calls and 3 chats to log the service request. The conversations with the in store manager, I was asked to pay 25% of the sale price to get rid of the broken couch (which in warranty) and openly acknowledge that I sure as hell am not going to buy a single item from them, nor am I going to recommend anyone else. Btw, This is the 1st time I am leaving a bad review, imagine the pain.

Worst customer service and warranty team I have ever dealt with. Warranty is third party so they can do what ever they want and it has nothing to do with the store. After months of trying to get warranty on a product the process has been the biggest headache ever, they do not forward any information to the techs about the issue, parts not ordered properly resulting in missing work several times to have nothing accomplished. 3-4 months and the issue is still not dealt with, no compensation, no apologies. Do not purchase their extended warranty, if anything happens I would recommend fixing third party locally instead of this headache

Very confusing they told me I was billed then didn’t bill the whole amount but sales told me the whole amount was going through so they definitely do t talk to each other or explain very well to the buyer so I ended up returning the item a and then they took 25% of the money I already paid back soooo now I’m in the home no matter what but I’m glad they got there money they do t care about anyone or anything but them selfs I will NEVER use them again

Went into look for a specific coffee table. Mentioned I am looking for “mid century modern” style. The worker had no idea what that was an was repeating back to me “mid centurick” as they clearly didn’t know the style. Found a coffee table I liked, however it had 2 price tags. One for 449.99 and another for 799.99. The worker advised it was a mistake however both price tags had the same style number and name. Either way - it seemed like no one knew what was going on that day. Working in a furniture store, should you not be aware of popular styles? They need to get their pricing figured out as it makes a customer frustrated when posted for 2 different prices. I do not recommend this place if you are browsing in person.

I purchased mostly all kinds of furniture for my new house. They were falling behind the delivery and most of all furniture I ordered arrived after 1.5 months. The customer care was not much help since you have purchased the furniture their role to care for you is gone. Even the staff at the store did not have any idea how to resolve my situation and most of the time they were trying to create a scene like it was my fault and they didn't have any liability to help me.

A cherry on the top, they offered me not to pay until 1.5 years or after 1.5 I can have finance, I took that offer. At the end of 1.5 years, I signed for finance as I thought it can be a good option for me, to my surprise the finance company offered me a high-interest loan on my furniture I was stuck there since I didn't arrange enough money to pay off so I took the loan. At the end of my term, I am paying double the money because of the high-interest rate. I learnt my lesson. I will not go for this kind of lucrative deals in future.

Picked out a beautiful sectional about 2 weeks ago, the salesman Jay was very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to chosing the right piece for my condo. He was able to get me a great deal and answered any questions I had. I would highly recommend the store and Jay to any friends who are looking to spice up their home! As a bonus the couch also arrived a week before expected! Couldn't be happier

Went in to look for a desk and Nick was able to help me without ever being pushy or attempting to up-sell me. Once I was ready to purchase he got me through the whole process without ever needing to go back to the store.

Bought all new furniture for a house my husband and I bought. Paid for it.v Called a couple times before delivery to make sure everything was good and they said it was all in the warehouse ready for delivery. When delivery day came (day after posession) they only brought a kitchen table. We bought a couch, love seat, chair, kitchen table with 6 chairs and 3 bar stools. Delivery guys said that's all we have on the order. I called the store and asked what was going on and they told me another sales person sold all our stuff and we would have to re order and wait till it came in. (Another 8-9months) so we had a new house and no furniture even tho it was all there paid for in the warehouse. We got our money back and went somewhere else and had new furniture in 4 days. ABSOLUTELY a horrible experience. They didnt even care that it happened.

Came in a half hour before closing and was price matched for a savings of over $120. Then, because that took some time, a call was made to the distribution center to not close until we got there to pick up (since I live an hour out of town)

My wife and I went into Ashley and were greated bythe first sales person. We sat down not all but for a few minutes and without anything being said he just jumped up and went to another couple who were browsing now I have no clue what the reason why he did not want to deal with us. Was it the way we were dressed or the color of my skin I dont kno but another salesman came to us and apologized for his actions which I didn't accept but as for the other salesman it was night and day. Everything went smoothly except for the first salesperson

Abigail was absolutely lovely to us. She created friendly conversation prior to asking what we were looking for. After picking our product she had us taken to the dream centre and that was such a neat experience!

The salesclerk Nick is very enthusiastic, patient and professional. My English is not good, Nick help me a lot, at last I bought all the furniture in my house including 3 bedrooms, 1 dining room, 1 living room and the basement.

We went in to just browse around and 3 hours later we bought a great mattress and sectional nothing we actually thought we would be walking out with. These workers definitely know what they are doing to help you with decisions and making you want things you didn’t know you needed lol!

Worst experience in buying furniture in 25 years!

I purchased some furniture and a dresser for my daughter on April 9 2021. They did not have much in stock for dressers so Sean the salesman helped me pick one out online. I did not take delivery of the order until Aug. The Dresser was broken when I unboxed it that night. Upon further inspection the dresser was of very very poor quality. It had a few paint chips already and the bottom drawer was splintered. The major break was the cross piece on the top drawer which had completely broken in half. I called customer service and they said they could exchange it for another one the exact same model but would take another 4 months or I could pick something different for a 10% charge or I could return it and pay a 25% restocking fee. I was not interested in the same model because it was of such poor quality but was kind of shocked they were going to charge me 10% to pick something else and I would have to wait months for it. I said I just wanted to return it but did not want to pay the 25% restocking fee because it was broken. The customer service rep just said I signed a contract and its basically my problem. I followed up with a call to the store to talk to my salesman Sean who assured me I would be looked after when I was buying the items. It took 2 weeks and 15 phone calls and them never calling me back despite what they would say to finally hear him say that the reginal manager would do nothing for me. The store manager would do nothing for me. I just stopped him there and said I would gladly pay the 25% restocking fee to not have to deal with this type of customer service anymore. To spend 5 thousand dollars on a order and a item comes broken that you wait 5 months for and unless you want to wait another 5 months you have to pay a fee of 10% or 25% if you want to just return it. Its basically the opposite of customer service and they just want their money from you. So just hope that your order shows up perfect because if it doesn't please get ready to just pay the fee to not deal with the Ashley customer care department, reginal manager and local store manager that completely do not care and just want their 25%. Honestly its just super frustrating with zero customer service unless you pay a extra tax for it. I just want to put my daughters clothes in a dresser and am not waiting another 4 months to do it. Moral of the story is go buy used furniture if you value time or money.

My boyfriend and i just bought a dinning set, our first sales person was very new and didn't give us all yhe correct information. But when we came back to pay for the table we got a new sales person who was really great and experienced. Dale was able to inform us on everything we needed to know and even gave us some tips for assembling the table. Would definitely recommend him for your sales person!

Very low pressure sales staff, but very helpful when we needed someone. Found the product we were looking for on clearance at an amazing deal. We shopped around and this was the best place for what we needed.

Worst experience ever. Would never recommend anyone to shop at this store. The experience started off great until it was time for us to receive our items. We never received a confirmation as to when we would receive our items and we understood since we are in a pandemic. It would have been prudent that our sales rep. Sophia had been direct with us so that we would have the option to make an informed decision about whether we wanted to wait for 5 months to get our items or shop else where.
The worst part of our experience was when a portion of our bed was delivered on April 17th but could not be assembled, so was non-functional. We were told that the headboard would be delivered the following week, we are now in July and the bed parts are still sitting in our room. We have called several times and were told the remaining part of the bed is coming every 2 week, to no avail.
We finally asked for Ashley to come and reclaim their bed parts after I started having back and knee pains from sleeping on the floor. My husband ended up having to buy a double sized bed as an immediate fix due to the doubt surrounding when the bed would be delivered. The manager admitted that Ashley made an error in delivering only a portion of our bed then admitted that we were being deceived by not being given a definitive delivery date yet she told us she could not take the bed back. We had to repurchase another bed from Ashley before they can take the non-functional one they delivered. We went out and bought a new kng size bed along with more items (in a bid to try to resolve the issue and have it behind us), only for the regional manager to tell us that they still cannot take the bed back because it was outside the 48hrs window to notify our dissatisfaction with the product what product? Is it even a product if it is still in boxes unassembled on our bedroom?
Since April, we have had boxes of a bed that cannot be used in our bedroom, even with buying a new bed from Ashley. Not only do we have to wake up to the trauma of that Ashley continues to put us through but it is also the last thing we see before going to bed. I hate this company and will never do business with them again. Come and get your bed and be out of our lives. Thank you.

Excellent help with choosing a sectional that worked for us as well as a beautiful bed frame. Incredibly happy with the service. Went out of their way to find discounts. Wonderful staff. Will return in the future for further purchases.
