Very unprofessional. Very unkept.

I had gotten a family doctor here quite some time ago. He apparently left as I was doing paperwork. Had been getting prescriptions filled and needs met for 2 years then they decided to tell me randomly when calling for a refereal for a cardiologist. That they werent servicing me anymore.in.a city with 0 family docs. With zero consideration for anyone.thanks. I hope other people see these reviews and steer clear from these aholes

My son is having health issues we were seen in a timely fashion and the physician listened to his concerns

You receptionist was incredibly rude to me when I came in at 3: 30 on Thursday for a walk in appointment. She said they don’t have walk ins after 230pm which I’ve never heard of before. Then she didn’t take my health cards or name. I believe a physician spoke with her because suddenly she was ten times more approachable and did her job. I believe you need to either change your listed hours or have staff trained better to assist busy single mothers who are just trying to get their children medical attention.

I have been a patient of Dr. Jamil for years she has a wonderful bedside manner and is a very knowledgeable, professional, and caring doctor. Receptionists have always been friendly on visits.

Don't go to this clinic as a walk-in. The doctor literally told me she was running late and cut my appointment short (as other reviews specify, they run ~1 hr late so I waited an hour for this outcome).
***As of today they ARE still requesting masking so a safer space for immune-compromised and covid conscious folks.

Have to wait 30-50 minutes on every visit even after the appointment.if i am waiting I don’t care before but this time i am with my new born and it’s hard to wait that much with her as too many people waiting there thus risking her health.

This clinic requires you to wear a face mask as their “policy” in order to see a physician, and then charge you money for a mask if you don’t have one. They don’t tell you that a mask is required when you make an appointment. How is this legal?

The staff in the clinic are very friendly. I had to see the doctor for a very bad flu and they arranged that in a very fast manner. The doctor was really helpful and followed up on my condition. Best service. Highly recommended.

My appointment was at 9am and staff said Doctor will arrive at 9: 55am. I had to wait more than an hour. Staff should’ve just book patients right at 10am if the Doctor’s will ALWAYS be late anyway. What a waste of time!

Visited Dr. Pannu for my first time visit to any doctor after arriving in Canada. She is humble and patient with me. And everytime she answered my all questions patiently. I had a good experience with her. Thank you Dr. Pannu for your help and support.

AVOID Dr. Farzin Kasmaifar. If there were 0 stars, I would definitely give him that. He is the worst doctor ever. He doesn't care about his patients and considers them just as $$. My wife is pregnant and waited about 2 hours to see him. After 2 hours he rudely told my wife that solving your problem takes half an hour, I can't spend time for you. He said it's your problem not mine and try to come in slow times or see other doctors who are not busy; while he is our family doctor! How can a Doctor say these words?

Doctors aren’t always available, or consistently changing. My doctor, Dr. Awan, who I absolutely loved, was replaced by Dr. Azma. Not too fond of her, doesn’t hear you out, jumps to diagnosis conclusions without listening to you and letting you finish. Has this habit of making you feel like the culprit for your genetic hereditary health issues.

I received my IME on 15 November 2022, and many panel physicians in SK were fully booked for weeks. Fatma at Avalon managed to squeeze me in two days later.

While my appointment was at 10am, I arrived at 9: 30am and they pretty much started my exam in 5 minutes. My doctor and clinic staff were very nice.

After my physical, they directed me to go to Lifelabs in Market Mall who did my blood test in 30 mins, and then Saskatoon Medical Imaging for my x-ray. All these locations were fairly conveniently located near each other.

Avalon then kept me updated regularly updated as to when my IME results were transmitted to IRCC, which was 23 November. I felt they were very professional and efficient so I don't hesitate to give them this five-star review for their speed, service and getting me an appointment quickly. Thank you Avalon team!

The doctor is very rude. Dr Pannu is not very welcoming and cold hearted. She didn’t not even spend 20 minutes talking to us and when i told her my concerns she said she will only do 2 diagnosis only. Of course, i just have told her my main concern but when ask her if she could check other concern she told me, oh i just removed my gloves. I was like can’t she just put on another one? In fact, she can’t check two different concerns at the same time. Very frustrating. Where is the good patient and doctor relationship there? Also, she keeps saying, “oh is that what you guys do in the place where you came from? ! ” Unprofessional doctor. She literally doesn’t know how to listen with the patient!

The waiting time is even longer than the time the doctor spent talking to the pt.

This clinic is the best clinic for Immigration Medical, staff of this clinic is very helpful best thing which i like is time saving. Easy booking on phone call. They are best.

Old building. It was busy and waiting time is higher than usual. I had to pay cash and they told me give us exact amount cause we don't have change. I forget that and I had to go back to a bank to change my cash. The doctor wasn't friendly too me. Only two staff there had positive attitude and nice to me.

Must recommended for immigration medical exam. I went there, it was quick. Staff and doctor are great

Very rude. I was sitting right next to my grandma when she was speaking to doctor. Dr. Jameel needs to work out on her attitude and re-read hippocratic oath. Doctors are paid by peoples so they better work for people as they must.

This is the worst clinic that I have ever seen in my entire life. I had booked an appointment to take a Pap test in their clinic, and they have been constantly cancelled my appointment for six times. The last time I got there they told me they reached me out, while my phone was available all time. They told me that they had left a message while I don't have a voicemail at all. The last time I got there the female physician was not available again. This is a big shame.

I also had similar experience with a different recent reviewer. Came in for a medical exam, and everyone is so understanding, even though they’re so busy they have put me in earlier than expected, and helped me so I could make it my other appointment/and work. The receptionist actually returned my call during after hour because I booked online in the evening. Within less than a day, my appointment and initial part of the medical is complete. Their online booking system really helps to start the appointment. I don’t know other medical exam location, but this one is of no regrets. The Dr. Awan Malik I booked my appointment with, is also really nice! I appreciate this clinic so much.

This is a really good clinic and very understanding staff. Dr. Najma jamil and has really been super understanding and supportive through out my pregnancy despite having so many complications during and post partum.she has really been a very good counselor too. JazakAllah khair for understanding and being kind toward us in our uncertain times.

Stay away from this clinic. Receptionist is rude and the doctor who is taking care of me left a voice-mail telling me to look for another doctor who will accommodate my schedule. If you have a schedule for phone appointment from 230 to 3pm; they will call you at 4pm and when you returned the call; the receptionist will be rude and telling you that he will call you within 30 minutes. I have work as I need to earn for living and I can't sit in the chair just waiting for his call. I did an email lots of times asking for the refill of my medicines. I am diabetic, hypertensive and etc as I ran out of it. And mind you, they don't even care to reply and when they replied they will tell you the same thing. You should know how to take care of your patients and I just warn people to stay away from this clinic and find someone else who can look after you.

I am really sorry to say that they are careless because it's our second time that they gave an appointment to us on phone but the doctor didn't call although we were waiting and wasted our time, and when you call them for complaints they will not receive your call.

I am grateful that I went to this clinic today. I needed an urgent medical exam for immigration. They did it right away for me. Dr. Malik is very friendly and cooperative. He answered all my questions very politely. Highly recommend Avalon.

It's a pleasant trip in the clinic. Come from Regina to take the immigration medical test. They arranged a good time for me so that I can finish all the test in one day and go back home on time. Dr. Malik Awan is very nice and professional. All the staff is patient and kind. Thank you so much for your help.

I would never recommend anyone to avalon
They never understand emergency situations. And doctors never give a call on scheduled appointments.if unfortunately something happens I would totally claim on avalon family.

Anytime there's an emergency coming up that is not too serious to go to a hospital and requires you to speak to your doctor, they say we can book you an appointment in a week. Crappiest clinic in Saskatoon for sure.

I've been here three times now, always as a walk in and they've always been very quick getting me in to see the doctor and the doctors and receptionist have been very friendly and professional everytime.

I always prefer to visits avalon medical whenever i need medical assistance. All the staff very professional and helpful.

I visited here in order to take a medical exam for PR card. Dr. Malik Awan is really kind and I can adquately rely on him. I appreciate to Dr. Malik. Thanks.

Receptionist was super rude! Tried to confirm an appointment thru phone! It’s not just today but the other few appointments call was the same. Aside from waiting more than an hour even you had an appointment. You guys need to evaluate or retrain your receptionist.

Went to Dr Malik Awan and doctor O for some issues, I have been going to them for years and I love their service. Proper doctors, front desk is very nice and polite. Great experience.

Super excellent clinic. I must recommend to visit the place for any immigration purpose and routine checkups as well. The staff is super amazing and Mrs Rafia is very helpful in every aspect. She always explain the ways to remedy my situation.

I hope you already read the recent reviews and you are promising again and again to improve your services. Do you really think that your services are improving or it is just bluffing?

Waiting time is undefined, no one knows how long s/he has to wait. I wonder if I have to search for a new clinic.

Been visiting for 4+ years. Staff is very accommodating and polite. Great experience having Dr. Awan as my family physician. Would highly recommend this clinic to everyone and anyone in need of medical assistance!

Worst place to go to DO NOT RECOMMEND! Dr.jamil Najma is the most rude and unprofessional doctor i ever met STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE OF NIGHTMARE!

Again I am not sure why do I keep coming back to this clinic as I had to wait over an hour again (4: 30pm appointment). Adding further insult there was a confusion when my family doctor called my name, I was stopped by their receptionist saying this other patient was first? And I booked my appointment for 430pm? This is a completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Only go to this clinic if you have spare a full day for an appointment. I had to wait for minimum 1 hour extra everytime i visit this clinic.

Cant stress how bad this place is, been here for myself and my wife. Both times where unprofessional and lacking any actual experience. Mehta prescribed medications without even examining or any test just happy to sign prescriptions.

Went in twice. Both times he said he would sned off a referral and then he never did. Its been 3 months and i had to go to a different doctor for a referral to a surgeon.

The receptionist didnt tell the doctor I was here so I ended up waiting an hour before they realized i was still waiting. They also mix up their patients. A man came in and they started calling him the wrong name until he came up to prove he wasnt who they were asking.

If I could give negative stars I would. Avoid this place. Dirty, rude staff, doctor didn’t even make eye contact or take my issue seriously. Simply prescribed antibiotics without even really looking at my wound or touching me. Wouldn’t even give me one extra bandage when I asked politely. Not ok. You should be ashamed of yourselves & your ‘medical’ practice. And the ‘wait times’ are BS. Do better!

Unbelievable. Appointment was 3pm and still sitting here waiting as it 4: 45pm. This clinic has to work on there patient wait times as this getting ridiculous. What's the point of all this just to book an appointment and then sit here for eternity just to see a doctor.

Staff is horrible, there is a woman there, with no courtesy for a patients, people should make an official compliant about the behaviour of the staff, and the doctors just want to charge your health card and make sure you leave their office quick.
Needs to be civilized and human.

No look for someone else with more sense of being human

I am here again having an appointment and still need to wait more than 45 minutes. Not recommend this place.
