Avenue Living - Swift Current Office

In my experience Avenue Living has been great to deal with. My maintenance requests are handled quickly, my neighbours are great, and anytime there have been noise problems the situation was rectified quickly. Living in an apartment can be challenging at times so I feel fortunate to be living in a place where there is a concerted effort to maintain a pleasant living environment.

However, if I could offer one suggestion for improvement it would be to do snow removal. I have never lived in an apartment before where the parking lot was never plowed in the winter.

UPDATE: Avenue Living made good on their promise to do snow removal. They are on it quickly and it is completed with minimal disruption. In fact, over the last years I lived in my apartment there was a noticeable shift in the service level that seems to have affected the entire company in a very positive way.

Staffs are very flexible and easy to deal with. Units are well maintained and if there is anything that needs maintenance assistance, they'll fix it right away. So far we're happy with our stay with Avenue Living, going 1 year on March:)

Misty is an absolute delight to work with and speak to! I work for the city in utilities and her and I work very closely. By far the best customer service! Highly recommend getting in contact with her if you need a place to rent!

Been renting with them for 2, almost 3 years and I don’t have a single complaint. Misty is incredible! She took the time to make a connection and find an apartment that suites us just perfectly! We've been living with Avenue for the past 2 years and going on our 3rd. Misty knows how to take care of her people!

I have rented from Avenue Living for approximately 12 years now. I would have to say that I have never been treated so well in my life. I can rely on my landlady Misty at any time. The last snow storm she came and shovelled me out not only at the apartment but also when I got my car stuck at the bank. In the spring my dog Ella who was with me for 8 years passed away and I was laid off from my job. I went to the office as I knew Misty would listen to me, my dog was my life. I could not afford to cremate my dog, as I had a little cry telling Misty how I wasnt able to afford the cremation for Ella and I was going to have to burry her somewhere but had no where to do it, Misty offered to take my dog and put it in her spare freezer in her personal garage unit the ground could thaw. Next thing you know 10 days passed and I got a call from Misty to meet up with her. When we met up she has what looked like a gift bag for me, low and behold it was Ella now Cremated, along with a necklace to put some of Ellas ashes into a Certificate of Cremation for my dog. I never cried so much in my life for being so thankful, Misty told me that she asked around the office and that her and the Avenue Living Staff in Swift Current all pitched in and Ella was transported to Moose Jaw and transported back being cremated all with donations from the staff. I would like to extend a huge thanks to all Avenue Living Staff in Swift Current. Nathan is one heck of a boss and Misty never seems to amaze me with all the kind things she does for not only me but that also goes for any resident that reaches out to her. Also a huge shout out to Misty and Karen for the food gift cards when I was struggling. I must say Misty has a kind heart and her motivation to work is one that is very much respected in my books and is often talked about in Swift Current. Love you all, Heather ;) thanks again for everything.

Employees working in Avenue living are so kind, helpful and responds quickly to our questions. Kudos to Nathan, Misty and all maintenance staff for doing a great job.

Max loves it here. My daughter and I are very comfortable in our space and we got great neighbours too. The staff are all nice and professional. Perfect location downtown and is even walkable to most business establishments and parks. My adult daughter rented two apartments in Swift Current a few years ago and one in Lethbridge all under Avenue Living. I highly recommend this company.

I am currently renting from avenue living and looking to upgrade to a 2 bedroom apartment and misty has been helpful showing me the places that they have available or will be available. She is easy to talk to and had answers to all my questions about the apartments.

Misty was able to find me a place really fast which is nice and modern at the same time. She is very accommodating. Now I’m living in my apartment for almost 2 years without any hassle. Highly recommended!

Iam here about more than a year now and everything was awesome from the employees itself they’re so much accommodating whenever we need some stuff like renewing contract and some maintenance work. This place had a very friendly environment and i think i can stay here longer.

I called the office the other day to check about the availability of a place for my friend. The employee I chatted with was Misty and she was simply amazing! Every question I asked her, she immediately had an answer and was so professional and knowledgeable. If my friend decides to move, I know she will be in good hands with Misty taking care of her!

The only word that really comes close to describing my landlord misty is wow, anytime if the day or night she’s always available for her residents I have never had a moment of frustration with her, from viewing my apartment (in which she dropped everything she was doing by that I mean she left the lake to come show me a few places) to checking in and making sure everything is going well. 5 star service for sure

My landlord Misty is the bomb dot com! She has been so accommodating and wonderful. She made what was shaping up to be an insanely awful moving process quite perfect. She makes sure I feel at home and happy in my new space and thanks to her I definitely do!

Great apartment. Only reason i signed the second time lease was due to Misty. Misty cares, gets back to you and advocates for the tenants. Only down side to renting from Avenue Living is breaking lease to buy a home.

The Swift Current staff is friendly, and quick to respond. Misty is awesome, and addresses any issues brought to her attention quickly, and will follow up personally to ensure they are resolved. The maintenance staff responds quickly, and will make sure that any issues brought to their attention are resolved in a timely fashion, and will follow up after the work order is completed to ensure that the work is completed satisfactory.
