I was very impressed with my first visit, and for sure, I will be a regular customer from now on. Very professional service and nice staff.

Not sure how to edit my previous review, so I will just write a new one. I received a call form the owner regarding my last visit. She was very apologetic, open to discussion, and completely validated me as a loyal-long time customer. There was a mishap in communication, which can happen for many reasons, but as a good professional, and person, the owner took measures to fix the situation. In fairness, I also have to take ownership of not being on time, and I should be aware of the policies that exist. I expect my time to be treated as valuable, but I also believe the service providers time is valuable as well; it is after all their livelihood, sometimes it is easy to forget that. In over 10 years I have never had a problem, and have always been happy with the service and the people. That in itself says a lot about the place. I will no longer be "moving on", if anything the professionalism that was shown has encouraged me to "continue on" for another 10+ years. Thanks for the call:)

Can't beat the prices. The girls are very nice. The location is easy to get too as well. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing service. They were all so friendly and polite. My service was done by Kiersten and she was an absolute gem! So professional, fast and she made me feel so comfortable. I will be back and I will definitely be recommending Body Sense to all my friends!

Avoid, avoid, avoid. Left my $150 slippers there by accident only for them to be stolen after I specifically asked to put them aside for pick up and got confirmation they were there. Took two trips there and over a month of time for the communication. No reimbursement either. They want you to leave shoes at the front but they are not responsible if someone steals them?
Subpar service with spray tan lasting 3 days top. I am beyond frustrated with this place

I went for an eyebrow tint yesterday. Upon looking at my eyebrows I noticed they were a tad orange. I woke up this morning and my skin along my eyebrows are stained orange. Will not be returning for another service

Front desk staff extremely rude. This is the second time I’ve went to this place and their tone was very unwelcoming. They called as I was running a bit late. She said it was okay only for me to get there two minutes later, walk in, and then tell me the appointment was cancelled. You could have told me that over the phone. Again, rude demeanour and tone. I will not be back

I had been attending this salon since I moved to Saskatoon. Unfortunately I won’t be anymore. I had an appointment that due to a health related reason I had to cancel. My symptoms came 15 before the appointment and I was in immense pain, I called the salon right away to cancel and took myself in to a clinic after as painkillers were not effective.
Over the phone, the worker simply said that no worries, I can cancel it for you. I thanked her and she said nothing else.

I rebooked my appointment and went in the next week. As I parked, there were about 5 workers grouped at the counter, all looking out the window at me. I felt quite strange but went in anyways. One of them said your total for today will be this much and there will be a 50% fee for a “no show. ”
They denied me the service for that day when I attempted to argue about it.

I did not understand how it would be a “no show” when I had called to cancel the appointment. The worker on the phone did not inform that there will be a fee or that it will be considered a “no show” rather than a “cancelled appointment”. The staff simply assumed that I will be aware it’s a no show when I do not know their policy, it does not specify anywhere. One of the workers kept saying it’s on our website.
I tried to look through their website, I tried to look through my emails, through the text messages they sent. No where does it specify the cancellation policy to call this many hours prior. Or that there will be a fee of 50% of the appointment for this. Only place I can think of is the screen that pops up once you book the appointment and then it goes away. But people rarely look at that, and it’s not a permanent page to refer back to for cancellation policy.

What made me upset is that the worker on the phone could have told me. I still would have paid, or if anything I would have gone prepared. Most salons would do that. But I felt the staff here lacked training for this. To me it felt as if I was tricked into making another appointment and then cornered once I showed up. What made me more uncomfortable is that there did not need to be 5 people there, only the person on the till and a supervisor would have been okay. Again it felt like I was being cornered. As I was leaving, a worker said something along the lines of it’s twice the hours now, and I thought this is not on me as I did show up this time and was denied the service.

My intention is not to give a bad name to the salon, A different worker I was receiving service from was quite nice. My review is in hope that customers wanting to get service here are aware that there is an issue of a lack of training here. Especially with services like these people need to feel comfortable. When calling, make sure to ask all the questions as the staff may not know to give you the right info. Also ensure to do research on after care as staff at this salon do not normally provide that information.

I went for my first time Brazilian and it wasn’t a good experience. Receptionist wasn’t very welcoming, the technician was alright. The place needs to work on their costumer service - UPDATE - after this review, the owner immediately called me and gave me a free Brazilian to turn my experience around. That’s exactly what happened. I came in a second time and had a wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be going back again!

I've been coming here for a few months, and I'm very glad I started to. I had never had sugaring done before, and I'm definitely not turning back now! The prices are great, the service is quick and efficient, everything is always clean and aesthetic, and the staff are all wonderful and are very professional all around. I highly recommend Body Sense Esthetics for your sugaring needs!

I went in for a walk in wax as I previously have done many times. Usually, I am welcomed warmly. However, this time when I arrived and walked up to the receptionist I was treated as if I were an annoyance to be showing up. The receptionist walked over to someone getting their nails done (who was my waxer). The woman gets up, walks over to the till and tells me to follow her to the room. She performs a very rushed wax, she was missing pieces throughout the wax, and the wax felt as if it could burn me. The wax took a maximum of 5 minutes, which makes sense as to why I’m missing chunks and the wax was scolding.

Great experience with this business! It was my first time waxing and the lady made me feel extremely comfortable. It was super quick and not as painful as I expected.

One of the ladies that works here is aggressive and unprofessional she came at me in a parking lot. I though she was going to be physically aggressive towards me. I would never allow someone to work in a customer service business that treats patrons of this mall so inappropriately. I have never even been here but I would never use their services or recommend their services to anyone

Been going here for years, my schedule is all over the place yet the girls always always manage to book me in last minute at any time. Love it.

Amazing price for a good quality wax. I’ve been coming here for two years and am always very pleased with the service they provide. You can’t get a better price, good quality wax like this anywhere else.

I was a client at Body Sense for roughly 3-4 years, but I have since moved to Calgary & have yet to find a place I love as much as I loved it here. Jamie was my go to for most of my visits & I miss her dearly! Always a great experience with her, the prices are affordable & the shop is in a great location.

Visit a few different estheticians until you find on you like. Affordable, quick and I really like to be able to book online and last minute when it suits my work schedule.

Loved the atmosphere there. Great experience. I went there to get eyebrow wax. The lady was very nice and professional. I highly recommend this place. And I will definitely go back because of the excellent experience and because is close to where I live.

Everyone is friendly and welcoming. The estheticians are very professional and do a bang-up-job. I recommend Jamie!

Reacted to the wax at the salon I’d previously been too so I thought I would try sugaring. Booked a 9am appointment was taken in at 855. Was a great experience no pain and best of all no reaction. Salon was clean staff was professional. I will be back.

For the price of the service (waxing) Jennifer does an amazing job and she is quick, clean, friendly and efficient. I highly recommend going to go see her! I'm in and out within 15 minutes and again she is very kind so I always feel more than comfortable! Seriously for $15 (plus a tip, $20) you just can't go wrong.

This place is AMAZING!
Very clean, professional, accommodating and affordable. Staff are courteous, friendly and talented at their professions. Careful if you have a mid afternoon booking around 3: 00pm as Sutherland has a train that may cause you a ten minute delay about that time! Just allow yourself a few extra minutes. Easy fix!

I used to go here and loved the service. The girls knew what they were doing. Now, not so much. Baby powder, left with hair and burns but then adds 20% gratuity. Are you serious? I will tip based on my service and latley it was awful. Not going to go here again.

This place is kinda like the fast food version of waxing. Definitely not as good as the nice place "down the street" but quick and cheap, and if that's what you're looking for then this place is great! I've had Brazilians done at a few places, and personally, being asked to prop my leg up on the wall was just.weird. Overall the experience wasn't very professional, and the girl seemed to be in a hurry so missed a decent amount of hair. But hey, most of the hair was gone, and it could have been worse.

I love this place. The services are amazingly priced and the girls are very nice. Plus it's close to home. That's a bonus.

Great esthetician but don't like the mandatory 20% tip. I wish they'd just increase their prices and pay their employees more so it would be more transparent.
