Prefacing this by saying I live a ways out of town, and in-person booking is not realistic. The online booking is disconnected. Spent 89 minutes on hold (73 of which as #1 in the queue) only to give up and leave a message and wish upon a star it gets returned. How are people supposed to go about their lives when nobody in that building wants to pick up a phone or bother to get the online booking going? Excited to see how they'll screw me over once they finally allow me the privilege of booking an appointment with my family doctor! Unfortunate that I now have to deal with these invertebrates because my excellent doctor unfortunately moved there.

even if you have an appointment, you will still wait 1.5 hours. It’s a pity you can’t put less than one. It’s a pity that my family doctor is here, it’s time to think about a change.

I was on hold for 2 hours and after being told I was the first in the queue I was sent to voicemail.

When they tell you it will be an hour and a half maybe two hour long wait, they really mean it will be 4 hours. Go anywhere else this is the busiest walk in in the whole city

Dr. Anderson was my family doctor, and thank God she is retiring next year. Couldn't find a worse family doctor if I tried. First, she doesn't believe in mental health or any disability.like she doesn't believe that ADHD is a real problem.she would never send me to a specialist or get any test done what so ever. She missed so many real issues because she refused to do her actual job. I was sick for so many years. I have had this new family doctor for about 6 months now, and within 2 months, I found out I have so many real issues. Needed n have a brain shunt Now. 5 surgeries in the last 3 yrs. All these issues could have been fixed before I needed any surgeries at all. There is too much fluid in my brain, n i had tones of symptoms n cysts all in my uterus and again tones of symptoms and a fibroid around my uterus. All these major issues were obviously there since I was a kid n anderson was my families family doctor for 30 plus years. I wouldn't have lost my one ovary either. If she had done her job properly to begin with.

Dr. Steplewski is a great doctor! He’s thorough, knowledgeable, and makes himself available to his patients as their family doctor. I also appreciate that he has a sign up indicating he will accept new Ukranians to Canada as patients. Most of the office staff are nice, however a couple of staff are defensive when you ask a question about the reason for waiting so long on the phone to book an appointment. I called today right when the clinic opened and I remained number 1 in the cue for 60 minutes before they took my call. Good clinic, but the way they take appointment bookings is not efficient. The reason given for the length of time I waited was that they are very busy. I get it, but caller 1 right when you first open should not spend 60 mins on the phone waiting. I hope they make some changes to improve in this area.

Last April, i was booked May 8,1pm, for an appointment with my family doctor. I came 20 minutes early because i don't want to get canceled again for being 5 minutes late.
So i came to the clinic at 12: 40 pm, and just noticed that my name is not on their list. They wanted me to show the appointment card (my bad, i forgot to bring it), but as per conversation with the receptionist, even if i provide the card, they will not accommodate me. I took a day off in my job because i know this appointment is very important to me as i am feeling uncomfortable with my health.
Good thing, my doctor went out of his office and took time to see me. He even apologized for what happened. Thank you, Dr. DAVIDS. But the girls in the reception? None of them did. It is their negligence. Things happen, but a simple apology? They never did!
So next time, to all the clients, don't trust the appointment card that they give. Before leaving that clinic, make sure your name is in their system!
And to the coordinator who did this, thank you for wasting my $$$ for this s-t!

Waited an Hour five min over the phone to book an appointment - caller # one for last 30 min, atlast ended the call at 1hr 8mins. Something should change

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Arrived 20 minutes after the clinic opened and was quoted 45 minutes to an hour. I asked if I could wait in my car and they told me yes but they won’t call me when it’s my turn like most other clinics will do. So I waited and by the time I finally saw a doctor it had been 2 and a half hours. They also quoted everyone an hour and an half wait except at one point I had counted 17 people come in with only 1 person from the waiting room being called in and the wait time never changed so their receptionists are lying to people or don’t know how to do basic math. Also, there is no type of required masking like most medical clinics and the only sanitizer they had available was completely empty. Will not be coming to this walk in again nor will I ever recommend it.

About 3 months ago I would have rated them 1 star because of the poor wait times, customer service and the knowledge of some doctors (the polish one especially). I can say now at least two out of the three have been vastly improved upon, namely, the wait times and the customer service. The nurses and administrative representatives are more friendly, efficient and I found the wait times did somewhat reduce which is a sign that they are trying to improve given all they have. I still see that some of the doctors like Dr. Bilal refuses to accept that alternative treatments to COVID such as Ivermectin do IN FACT work as better treatments (vis a vis UK and EU medical publications). My hope is that some of these doctors increase the knowledge and listen to actual medical studies instead of listening to the govermental authorities like the SHA and Health Canada whom are creating policies based on politics and not actual science.

Terrible. This clinic has become a literal exercise in frustration. They don't answer the phone. Period! Don't bother waiting in the que because they don't answer! Even when you make it to caller #1 it will keep you there for a lengthy time and then just disconnect you. After two days and countless hours sitting in the que I left a message. They called back 24hrs later, rang once and hung up! I called back and was immediately #2 in the que and sat there until I was #1 and then sat there again until I got disconnected. Called back and left another message asking for a telephone appt. They called back 2 days later, arranged the appt. They don't give a time just the date. Doc calls once from blocked number. I was on another call and doc doesn't bother to try again. Like other docs realize that since we don't know when they're gonna call and like we do have other things going on, they will call back a minute or so later. Which gives a person time to end the other call, listen to docs message and then wait for call back. Not this clinic. So now I need to go around this merry go round again. Bizarre!

As everyone else has said here, doctors are usually decent, but the office staff are a bloody joke. You’ll never get through to them on the phone and their excuse is “we’re very busy”. I don’t care how buddy you are, you can still take a phone call for 1 minute. But they never do have a lineup long enough to make a phone call wait that long, they always have someone at the desk that is doing nothing. I’m trying to find another clinic, this one is terrible.

I went here originally as a walk-in and noticed that a couple doctors were taking on new patients. I made an appointment to meet one of the doctors. After waiting around a month for the appmt, I went in, and after sitting for about 10min, I was told the doctor would not see me. Was seeing other patients, but would not see ME. No reason given. I was pre-judged, by ny name, before the doctor even met me, and just decided not to even meet me. I will NEVER go back. How can a doctor even refuse to simply meet a new patient? And why was I made to wait a month, and then sit there for 10min before my appmt was cancelled? Totally unprofessional.

I was just on hold for TWO HOURS, waiting to get a prescription refill and make an appointment.just wanted to talk to someone at the front desk.after waiting for TWO HOURS, I was sent to voicemail! If I could give this clinic zero stars for service, I would!

If I could give this place a negative stars I would. My mother went here with intense pain. They wrote it off as a fisher without even examining, sent her in her way with a prescription for a cream. That didn’t help so she went back, seen a different dr and she said the same thing, this time she wrote a prescription for a stronger cream. Well my moms pain just got worse and worse and she ended up in the hospital and it turns out she has cancer. If the drs here would have done their jobs and did a quick exam they would have easily felt it like the drs did that the hospital. These drs are lazy and clearly want to get through people as fast as possible. Go somewhere else.

My family doctor Dr. Mitchell is amazing, however their walk in system is terrible. I was told it would be an hour wait for a walk in and I have been waiting for 3.5 hours. Would not recommend coming here for a walk in

Literally have been on phone for 1.5 hours now waiting on the que. No answer yet. Been number one caller in the que for about 45mins. Wonder if its actually the wait time or the people in reception avoiding to answer call. This place is a joke.

Absolutely horrible experience. Ridiculous wait times on the phone. I was on hold for an hour so I drove there. Not one person at the desk. Very rude staff. Dr neglected to do a pediatric referral for 2 weeks in the case of a very urgent matter with my autistic child. Advised benadryl as a solution to her anxiety. Thats just the problems with one of my kids. Switching doctors for my entire family.

Just spent 48 minutes on the phone and managed to go from caller 10 to caller 9.
I'm convinced desk staff ignoring the phones. Easier to just do a walk in.

So unprofessional and proper there are so careless. Waited 1hour on phone on hold. They picked up and hung up. I was in so much pain. May they suffer like this too

Originally when I decided to make this the clinic I will go too when I need to see a doctor, it was because the pharmacy attached (First on eighth) was amazing to deal with. As well as the front counter administrators for the clinic. Seeing the doctor I did made the choice that I was never going back to this clinic. I had three prescriptions that needed to be refilled, a rash on my chest that I needed a fungal cream for. And then when I was about to ask him for the results on my latest blood work, he went on to say “I have to stop you there, I have other patients waiting to see me and we have already went through too much for a walk in clinic” (it had been about 6mins). And I said “but the results are right in front of you, can’t you spend a minute just to tell me if they found anything with my kidneys since they are worried about kidney disease and kidney stones from another blood test and ultra sound”. He goes on to say “you will have to come back to walk in to go through them”. Well by this point he could of just told me what the results were and I could of been on my way. But instead he refused care on a fairly important test. And yes, you can access them online, but first of all, that is mostly mumble jumble to me and second the site won’t let me in. All in all, I do not recommend the walk in clinic, the doctor there doesn’t see the importance of his job to help people with medical issues.

If I could give this clinic and the Doctor I saw here a zero, I would. I was very desperate for a family doctor and unfortunately found Dr. Davids. When you book an appointment, it takes a month to see him yet he takes walk-ins everyday he's there. He is aloof, void of empathy, did not remember even meeting me the second time I went there in severe pain. I needed a referral for surgery and the doctor/clinic was sending my referral to an outdated fax number. I called the neurosurgeon myself, was redirected to the correct office to confirm I was on a list. I was not. I then got their information myself and called the clinic back. All this hit and miss added another week to my suffering. Then I was told by David's himself I would not have to physically come in for appointments because I was in such severe pain. Then he refused to let me make an over the phone appointment once covid restrictions were lifted but this is not why I couldn't come in. I physically can't stand or walk more than a few minutes. I told him I wanted to be admitted to the hospital, he told me they would LAUGH at me. Then a few weeks later when I made a huge fuss about not being able to physically go there, he said I should go to the hospital. He has been making everything harder for me and I feel abused when all I need is some care until I have surgery. He also refuses to talk about more than one issue at a time and seems uncomfortable discussing mental health as he told both my bf and I to make another separate appointment each time we brought these issues up. There are so many reasons not to put yourself through this rigmarole. There is no fluent communication with this Doctor or this clinic. My anxiety and mental health have further plummeted. Please avoid this toxicity!

Appointment booking on call wait time is 2 hours seroiusly? Even RUH dont have this much long wait.i dont know what is the admin staff doing when ever i visit they are not that much busy so they dont pick call for two hours

Sad to see so many negative reviews. I've been going to this clinic for over 30 years. The doctors have always been great to deal with. I agree the wait time can sometimes be longer than expected, but if you're walking in, you can't control that.it's a really busy clinic for a reason.lots of people go there. Book an appointment to shorten the time, but expect to wait a bit in case the person ahead of you has a more serious ailment. It's health treatment.not a fast lane. If you can't get through on the phone leave a voicemail they will call you back as soon as they can.

Worst customer service ever. Can never through the call. Always 2+ hour wait. Once you get to someone can never get resolve the issue. Worst of worst.love my doctor but worst customer service and phone line.

This clinic is just bad.as some of the other reviewers have pointed out…I like my doctor but his staff are useless.had an appointment and waited over an hour past my appointment time and couldn’t wait any longer had other things to get done. This is why people make appointments.so i went to the front desk to rebook and was told I would have to get in line behind the 5-6 walk-ins just to rebook the appointment that THEY missed…was then told I would have to wait another 3 weeks to get an appointment because the doctor was going on holidays. Worst staff and service in the city.don’t waste your time going here…

Its phone line never gets connected! I was calling to make an appointment and kept waiting for 2 hours, and it turned to voice mail straight away after such a long wait.

Asked for a doctors note for a facility I was to attend to today. Apparently he was wrong and said he was not allowed to give me one with out a referral. Went to different walk-in and they gave the doctors note. I was late to make it to my appointment out of town because of IMPROPER information. Going to have to pay for two nights for a hotel as the establishment I am going to stops taking patients at noon on Fridays and not open now till Monday. HORRIBLE!

Wondering staff. Finally after 6 years found a doctor who was invested in helping me. So thankful.

Went to see a doctor as a walk in patient. Took me about 2 hours to see the doctor only to prescribe me medication that I haven't receive yet as told from my local pharmacy. Waited all afternoon and early evening to no avail. So I called back to the clinic asking what is the delay about my prescription only to be told the doctor hadn't gotten to it yet (sending to my local pharmacy) ? Overall, it sounded like the front desk at the walk in clinic had no clue what I was talking about and was asked what was I prescribed (I don't remember the name of the prescription as it sounds too foreign to remember!) These so called professionals at this medical clinic should know about these things as I assumed everything should be recorded on their file. I do not recommended this place at all as they will give you the run around.

I came here the day after a hockey accident. Without laying a hand on me sent me for an X-ray and said I was fine.

Went and got a 2nd opinion where the doctor requested an ultrasound. Turns out I partially tore both my MCL’s

This is going to be a long review dedicated to the notorious Dr. Jacek Steplewski. Who has got to be the laziest, rudest, most incompetent doctor I have ever seen in my life. I'm a minor, and have been dealing with severe stomach problems for months, suffering. I visited the clinic a few weeks ago and to sum it up; He pushed symptoms on me that I didn't even have, and tried to shoo me out of his office to get a covid test even though I had my temperature taken at the front desk, got tested not long before this incident, and I am fully vaccinated. He insisted that I had covid, and upon me explaining my REAL symptoms to him, he called me a liar and asked me to leave. Under my breath, I muttered that this was bull to my girlfriend who attended with me, and immediately got yelled at and "banned" from the clinic. He banned a MINOR from receiving healthcare, despite the fact that he was the one who initiated the altercation. I then returned today, in hopes that maybe I could get help because no other clinics nearby were taking walk-ins and I have no transportation. I waited for hours, finally got in once the clinic was empty, had my blood pressure taken, sat down in the office, and was told that Dr. Steplewski (who was the only doctor left in the building at the time) refuses to see me because I was "verbally abusive" in the past. Absolutely ridiculous, if you read these reviews you'll know im not the only one that's had negative experiences with him and I will be contacting the Saskatchewan board of physicians. Absolutely disgusting.

Worst place ever. Was told it would be 15-20 minutes now an hour they Called my name I stood right up and went over and in the meantime she decided to call 2 other people and make me have a seat again and wait another 20 minutes to go to a room and then sit it the room another 15 minutes. I do not recommend this clinic. Biggest waste of a person's time with no respect

Horrible reception staff! Waited literally 45 minutes on hold from the time they opened. The recording kept telling my I was number 1 in the queue and to please hold. They have REALLY gone downhill when it comes to the reception. The doctors are good though otherwise I'd go somewhere else.

I expected a long wait but was in the room within five minutes of waiting in the car. Dr. Steplewski printed out my covid test result, did an exam and sent me with a prescription and diagnosis. Impressive.

Absolutely ridiculous wait times on hold for reception to book an appointment with a family Dr. Then goes to voicemail after 45+ min on hold. Not sure how you can keep staff employed that are so incompetent at doing their job.

I have been going to the Mediclinic for over 25 years. Dr. Lacny is my family doctor, and he is a talented healer, a skilled physician and you can trust his advice and treatment. This doctor will spend the time to get a correct diagnosis and understanding of your condition. He’s a good guy and really gets to know his patients. I have also seen other doctors at the clinic over the years and have had very good experience and treatment with each of them. Thanks also to the other staff there, it’s nice to have x-ray and everything in one place.

I have been a client of the Mediclinic for over 33 years where I consulted with Dr Lacny and Dr Russell. My experience has always been positive. They always listened to me, treated me with respect, never rushed an appointment and successfully treated my various ailments. I do not expect to find better doctors.

I have used other doctors at the clinic from time to time and received acceptable, interim service.

Was told about an hour wait. Its been over 3. Then i am told there are only 3 more before me and i hear atleast 8 more names called. They say they put more serious patients first.how do they decide who is needing it first. No one seems critical.

This rate is only dedicated to Dr. Jacek Steplewski. Overall clinic stuff are friendly and helpful. I have visited this clinic handful of times but i have never had such a horrible experience like i had with Dr. Jacek Steplewski. He didn't even take his time to hear me out what migraine concerns i had. He is very rude and unprofessional. Therefore, i will never come back to this clinic. Thanks.
