Terrible receptionist, don’t even talk gently. Needs professional training how to speak with patients.

The Doctor I saw didn’t prescribe anything for a viral infection. Nor did he prescribe any antibiotics for my condition and the viral infection that I have.

Coughing, dizziness and shortness of breath due to inhaling a lot of silica dust after my mask failed.

Called the clinic instead of entering because of their covid poster saying to not come in, to call for a phone consultation.

The receptionist on the phone said to "go somewhere else", no suggestions as to where that somewhere else might be, and then remained silent - no offer of phone consultation, just bluntly stating "you can't come here" over and over again.

There are like 18 symptoms on that poster, so basically if you're not bleeding you're unable to enter.

Super unhelpful and uncaring. I hope when these people need assistance themselves in future that they're given the same amount that they provide.

Feel for the staff. Drs are alright. Waiting and heard a manager tell at a junior staff member in front of clients no less

Why are they still making you wear a mask when you go to the hospital they don’t make you wear a mask! Also they are charging $1.00 for a mask. Should be free for a non mandate mask!

Dr. A. Paul is the worst physician I’ve ever seen! He has terrible bed-side manor, abrasive and unprofessional along with him not listening to the patients concerns or story. He tries to rush the patients out of his rooms and he doesn’t care about the actual health of the patients he sees, DO NOT SEE DR. A. PAUL!

I’ve been coming here for years because my family brought me here as a child, I came in recently they told me I was 5th in line then they let about 11 people in while I’m waiting, don’t know if they had appointments but, the next day I called and the receptionist told me I can’t make an appointment because I don’t have a doctor there when I’ve been seeing dr a Paul for years. Im changing to north gate medical centre. I don’t recommend this place.

Avoid this place! It's dirty, run down and very poorly managed. Several times over the past 3 years I've waited with my father for up to 2.5 hours past our appointment time. They will not call you when the doctor doesn't show up for work so you take time off work just to get stood up by the doctor then the receptionist says they don't have time to call all the patients with appointments to let them know. Trying to book an appointment, if you are lucky, will take several minutes to an hour on hold. The new mask policy is what it is but it is ridiculous when 5 - 6 people come in without a mask (including myself) and are handed one for free but as soon as a first nations couple shows up without one they are charged $1.00 each (yes it was the same receptionist handing them out). I'm trying to find dad a new doctor so we can get away from this office as fast as we can. And don't even get me started on the sharing of personal medical information with unauthorized people as well as other patients notes (with names) and test/ lab results just sitting out in plain view while you wait in the room for the doctor to see you.

Although the front desk staff was very polite, the office was dirty. Lots of people in the waiting area were sick and not using masks. I tried to use the bathroom but could not go through the door; it was awfully dirty.
After waiting for almost 3 hours, I left. I was seriously concerned about getting sick for just being there. I needed to see a family doctor to refer my baby to a pediatrician.
Seeing almost a hundred people in the waiting area show how broken is the health system in Saskatchewan.

I was happy for walk in before but when I come with kids, one of the guy who worked there yelled to my kids coz of my kids was playing and walk to hallway. My kids are just2 years and 3 year old only. In this clinic doesnt have kids playing center also. And also he yelled us to bring back kids to the car. He looks like indian or African

One thing sure is.that guy yelled at us and pointed us to go back to the car with kids.
Absolutely zero recommend that place because of that guy.

The doctor who usually works the evening shift, he is patience and kind. Thanks for him.

Waited in line and when I went to go up to the receptionist I was told I wouldn’t be seen by any doctor. Managers orders.

Joke of a medical clinic. Doctor is almost impossible to book with, they want you to book online but never respond to your attempts. You call, and are met with a receptionist who won't even let you speak to answer her questions. Nevermind the rude responses and badgering, making you feel nothing but rushed through as another number. Don't give any notice to patients that their doctor won't be available for MONTHS at a time when they have an active prescription. I'll be finding someone else, as there's clearly MANY better options out there. I'd give 0/5 if I could.

The 2 star rating speaks for itself. Not exactly sure why this clinic thinks booking patients 5min apart is a good idea but it definitely explains the 45min wait times. Hoping soon someone at the clinic turns their brain on and understands what appointments are actually for. There’s no point booking a time if the appointment is an hour later. Horrible place, go literally anywhere else for a better experience.

You will never get into your booked appointment on time and will always be waiting for at least 15min in an overcrowded waiting room. They book appointments 5min apart which explains why they never have time to properly listen to your issues and try to get you out as fast as possible.
The goal at this clinic is not health but instead quick turnaround times to get as many patients in as possible, the more patients they get in, the more money they earn.

I read the reviews but still gave this clinic the benefit of the doubt. The reviews are right, going to this clinic is a waste of time. One hour wait only for the doctor to tell you there's nothing you should worry about since you're "young". Funny how their clinic promotes respect when their staff and doctor can't practice it. Doctor talks too fast and looked like he was in a hurry - questions all of your concerns as if they are irrelevant. Save yourself some time and go somewhere else.

Lots of comments on how bad the receptionist (s) are but I'm not convinced there actually is one since I have not even been able to get anyone to answer the phone for 2 days straight. I haven't been there for 2+ years but I see that they are still in a downward spiral.

I have never had an issue inside this clinic other than maybe waiting awhile when the place was packed but hey that's life sometimes

I was asking the doctor questions but he doesn't seem to care about what i am saying.took 5 mins to just take a look at me then prescribed a medicine without even explaining anything.don't go here!

Doctors of this clinic is good but one of the staff member is extremely rude and doesn't have manners.

Concerning Walk-ins: Go here if you have a UTI and want quick meds, not if you have actual health problems. They want you out of their rooms before you even get the chance to warm the seat you've taken.

I had booked a 1: 40pm appointment with my family physician which was scheduled for today. I was seen at 1: 55pm. Not a bad delay based on previous experience.

Unfortunately I was told today that I have too many issues to discuss. I have heard this on numerous occasions previously. I felt compassionate on those previous occasions as it's a busy place. Based on those occurrences I have really tried to get all my facts together and written on paper to help expedite visits as I had almost become afraid of asking questions or forgetting certain details.

As the appointment was coming to a conclusion I reminded my doctor that my visit had only been 12min. The rebutle was if everyone took 12min, there would be issues with scheduling and certain personal commitments.

So what is an appropriate amount of time for an appointment I wonder?

Good doctors, sub-par reception and scheduling. If you make an appointment you will still need to wait 1-2 hours for it. Might as well just walk in and wait.

Had an appointment at 10: 30am, the office called at 10: 04 to tell me it was canceled.

05/2/2021 Waited for 5 minutes in the lobby, Then went to exam room where we waited another hour. Very rushed when DR finally arrives. Can only ask about one thing. Very poor experience.

Myself, my wife and son went there as regulars for years and almost all the time the appointment time was always late. A 3 pm appointment would usually be 4: 30.

The staff were mostly rude, often my Dr.was not even there and I'd find this out after waiting for over an hour. Avoid this place if you can.

After years of this abuse, we moved on.

If this is healthcare, then we are in deep trouble.wanted to get a prescription renewed. I did not want to come into the clinic since.well we’re in a pandemic.was told the Dr. Curtis Cameron will call me to simply renew a prescription, which I had my pharmacist send a form for. Was also told he would call whenever he had time, which is so vague. Im sure a consultation fee would be charged. After not hearing from him I called the clinic and Gave my opinion on the way the Overbrook, keep the patients waiting if you do have an appointment for about an hour an hour and a half. And then tell you the doctor will call whenever. And for Pointing out the obvious I got a lot letter from Dr.curtis saying he could no longer be my doctor due to how I treated his staff. How about the way that their patients are treated? Guess it’s of no concern of theirs.

I was in there last week and then again just this past Saturday. Doctors are amazing at this clinic! Staff needs some work though. You can tell who doesn’t like their job and who does. It’s tough when you go in there and you have poor/negative attitudes all around. There is however a blonde lady that works there though and she’s amazing! So kind hearted and sincere and always willing to help out. Highly recommend dealing with her of you go in there. I just wish I remembered her name but she’s the only blonde one there. Doctors are great, most of the receptionist staff members are great. However, one woman is rude. I didn't know about the 24 hour reschedule rule. Plus I literally just made my appointment the day before. She needs an attitude adjustment. Sick people don't want to be made to feel like garbage when they're already not doing the best.

Dr. Mark Cameron is the most unhelpful, horrible doctor I've ever had, avoid, don't waste your time.

With covid and over the phone appointments, you would expect them to at least answer the phone, but after 30 minutes spent trying to reach this clinic as it is the only one near me, I was never able to.

Dr. Tsang helped one of my friends at this clinic. He said that she is very professional and knows her stuff. He was in and out quickly.

Unfortunately, he said that his own family doctor is (who also happens to be with this clinic) is not as good, with him not being available at all.

This clinic has a mix of really good doctors and some really bad ones.

Unfortunately our amazing family doctor is leaving the city.so I called the clinic to see if Dr. Nair was taking new patients because i was told he is a great doctor and good with kids. (My daughter is one). The receptionist was extremely rude to me, cut me off when asking about Dr. Nair.laughed and said "he doesn't take new people. " so i proceeded to ignore that and ask if any other Doctors were accepting new patients.the receptionist Huffed and puffed and in a very rude tone said "One. Dr. Curtis" i asked a few more questions about the process in becoming a new client, which every answer was snappy from her.so i asked if i could book a consultation with him to see if he would be a good fit for our family. A good doctor is very important to us, especially because we are just starting our family. The receptionist once again Huffed and said " UGH! I guess have you been here before" at this point i was fed up, i stayed nice the whole time and got nothing but attitude and annoyance from this receptionist.so i politely said " That is okay hun, you know what don't worry about it.i would prefer my daughters doctors office front desk to be a little nicer and more respectful, thank you for the help though and have a great day"

I don't normally leave reviews on things but i am very frustrated.especially because it is so hard to find a good doctor and a good doctors office you feel comfortable going to. I am very disappointed.

From my experience is if you can get a chance to talk to Leanda one of the receptionists that cares and takes her time to listen and makes sure you get what you need. I talked to 3 different receptionists, and think that I was scheduled for an appointment and waited a whole day until I get that nice lady to help me. Thank you again Leanda

I came in to see a Dr for a WCB claim and he never sent my prescriptions to my pharmacy. I called and left messages several times, never recieved a call back. When I went down and complained they said "too bad" I will never go here again and I encourage everyone to avoid this place. Its incompetent and has zero compassion for its customers

We took our 18 month old daughter to this clinic in the evening of Feb 10/20. Our daughter is a busy child. Rather than hold her while she cries (and annoys the other people waiting) the front reception staff and Dr. Hochban suggested we let her walk around the waiting room and hallways by the examination rooms. This kept everyone in the building happy except for the Office Manager (an older woman with white hair and glasses). We were consistently met with dirty looks, rolling eyes and very audible scoffs when our daughter (who we closely supervised) was near her office. The Office Manager actually slammed her door very aggressively on multiple occasions as our daughter walked passed her office. I have never been exposed to such immature and unprofessional behavior from a "healthcare professional". Perhaps she was having a bad day. Regardless, she should be ashamed and embarrassed by her behavior. I assume this woman has never had children. If it wasn't for the excellent service and care provided by the front reception staff and Dr. Hochban I would have given 1 star. Thank you again Dr. Hochban for your help!

We love our family physician Dr. Adams. He’s very nice and professional! He’s always listening to your concerns and address them with the most respect. I gave 4 because the waiting time is so long once you get to the clinic.

My daughter and I attended this clinic on 10/04. The receptionist at the front was absolutely amazing and heard our story and concerns. We were able to see Dr. Hochban who was also amazing. He listened and was very caring. I can't say enough good things about this clinic and the way we were treated. Amazing service and next time I need a walk-in I will certainly drive to this one.

I went their on Sun march 10 at 3 p.m. And they told me they were full and to come back tomorrow. I only see two people sitting there and the place didnt close till 5.
So, I tried again today march 11 at 6 p.m. And the receptionst told me they are full even tho they dont close for another 2 hours! And to try again tomorrow. I see a trend here, they dont let anyone in two hours before closing. Why call it a walk in clinic if your going to deny anyone trying to come in the last two hours? I worked all day and I tried very hard to make it when I was done work. They dont care, very poor work ethics.
If you do go there, call first is all I can suggest

Overall, this is the best clinic I've been to in the city. Wait times are average, and Dr Curtis and Dr. Cameron are both excellent, attentive and caring doctors.

Looking for a family doctor for a while that pushes lifestyle not meds. Dr. Curtis is helpful and caring. Great with kids too. Waiting room is clean, and wait times are better then I have been elsewhere in the city. I even had a walk in and was out rather quick.

I called and was told their was only 3 people waiting. So I left my name and answered all the questions they asked then sat down. People came in after me were getting in before me. I was sitting near the desk so I heard they were all walk ins. After sitting there for over a hour I got up and asked how long the wait will be. Here the front desk lady didn't even put my file with the other patients! When I asked if my name was even there she was like "your name should be here but it's not showing up" uhhh well you were the one who took my name! Then she had the nerve to be upset and blame me for her mistake! So unprofessional
