Went in to get a flat tire fixed, and was in and out within a half an hour. The technician went above and beyond, inspecting my bike for free and showing me potential wear spots. Very friendly too

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Quite a lot of variety for a decently small store. The bike technicians are very speedy as well!

Friendly and comfortable atmosphere. I walked in with a bike, and was greeted by a friendly hello and smile. I was told 24 hours from the time it was dropped off when the bike would be done, and ended up picking up the bike an hour later. I was still out and about doing errands so it was very convenient for me.

Took my bike there to get a few small minor things fixed.

There was a friendly greeting at the door and they did the work at a reasonable price. I would recommend.

Service quality has progressively went down. At one time used to be the best bike shop in town, now they seem to be less interested about quality and relationships and more interested in how fast they can take your money and get you out the door.

Bought a handful of bikes from Bruce’s over the years. Great team, great quality. All around very good shop!

Was just going in to browse but the staff were super friendly and super helpful in educating me on different models and features. Let me take a couple for some test rides as well!

Don't stand by their cheap substandard parts.

Got new tube and it went flat within 2 weeks. Spoke to them on the phone and they were super friendly, made it sound like they had a warranty. I brought it in and then they replaced, even though they said they would call me before doing anything. Then they said it was our fault, and wanted full price. How hard would it be to admit they sold me a dud and take 5 bucks off? Took tube to a better shop (Doug's) and they said they would never sell such a low quality item to anyone.

We had a tire that wouldn't hold air on our stroller. Turns out it needed a new tube. The team at Bruce's were very professional and offered fast friendly service and got it fixed right away! Would definitely reccomend Bruce's for any repair needs or if you are looking for a new bike.

Turns out shortening the stem resulted in a 101% improvement in handling. Nice job tuning and torquing this new little Chester. Cammi was extra snappy while doing those horizontal moguls down in the hollows? Until I caught that branch.

After bringing in my bike for repairs, I went to the store where I bought it to test drive a brand new one and confirmed that my bike felt literally better than new after getting it back from Bruce’s. They replaced parts with ones that were better than the ones from the factory and made it feel incredible.

Was greeted quickly and everyone in the store was very friendly. I really loved that everything about the bike I was buying was explained clearly. Overall a great experience.

Very helpful staff. I was looking for a new bike helmet for my 3 year old. They helped us find a helmet and made her feel very comfortable.

Awesome. They took my bike right in and did some adjustments and it shifts better then ever! Always had good service and repair times.

I've been to many bike stores over the years as I like to tour on my bike as much as possible. I was in a few weeks ago to do a nice ride from Emma Lake to Waskesieu, and the night before I was going to travel my chain wrapped itself around the rear cassette. I could not resolve the problem myself, so I brought it into Bruce's. While I had to leave it a few days as they were busy, they were able to get it done in time for my trip. Fraser the bike technician did a great job performing the repairs, and was able to reuse my worn chain ring to allow me to complete my ride. He also mentioned that my bottom bracket was getting worn, and he was right. About 500 kms from the repair I noticed it was getting pretty bad. Fast forward a few weeks later I decided to have Bruces shop replace my bottom bracket, which actually meant replacing the whole ebike motor. Even though a different tech (Miles) worked on it, he did an amazing job. Sometimes after getting my bike out of other shops, I have to make adjustments, but not this time. Oh and by the way, I live in Calgary so I actually waited to get my motor replaced, because I really appreciated the first service.

I won't recommend this store. I bought mountain bike online last summer worth 5k, pick up in the following morning, it's a Large size and brought the bike home and do the bike fit at the garage and basement just found out not fit on me then called them on the afternoon to return the bike and agree but when I was on the store they charged me $200 CAD dollar for storage and credit card fee. It's ridiculous (robbed me my hard earned money). Still hoping they will refund me my $200.00 CAD.

They should not be charging a credit fee for the bike that returned. I did not use it and it's been only 8 hours on my possession and it really sucks.

Again not recommending this stores.

Bruce's Cycle Works service and staff are excellent. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They tuned up my wife's 10 plus year old bike like new. Both my daughter and son in law also take their bikes there as the are trustworthy and fair. I would highly recommend them

Bad parts, high repair prices, incompetent employees.
It took three visits here to find out I would have to go elsewhere to get a flat tire fixed. This takes a special kind of incompetence. First visit, I brought an old tire tube to one of their employees and said 'one of these, please'. It was a road bike tire tube and the employee gave me a tube better suited for a motorcycle (aka vastly oversized). Came back, pretending the mistake was mine (to avoid being unpleasant) asked for a proper sized tire, and while I was at it, a new patch kit. The employee (same guy) gave me the 'right' tube (more on this later) and the cheapest patch kit I'd ever seen, assuring me when questioned that 'it works fine' and that it was the only type they stocked. I installed the new tube, and rode my bike for perhaps 45 minutes before the tube was punctured. It's possible I got unlucky, but I've never seen a new tube puncture this quickly. No flaws in the tire to allow glass or gravel in, so I conclude the tube is extremely cheap. I also found out that the patch kit I bought was essentially expensive scotch tape, and can't hold tire pressure for 5 minutes. I've patched my own tires for years without trouble, but this patch kit simply wasn't designed for the style of tube I was sold. Needless to say, I went back to Bruce's and complained, asking for my money back. Here I find out that 1. No money back (because 'there's no way they could resell a used part', as if my part of the problem doesn't matter) 2. They sell proper patch kits but lol no one knew when I came in at first. I ride my bike as my main mode of transportation and live 3 blocks from Bruce's, so by all accounts I should be a regular customer. I will never come back here, and encourage everyone else to find a proper bike shop that isn't just after your money. Waste of time and money.

Recently moved to Saskatoon and wanted some new cruiser bikes to tour around town. The staff here were incredibly helpful, friendly, and knowledgable. Loved the shop and will be a customer again! Thanks for the great service!

Excellent customer service! Went in to buy a bike for my 4 year old. They were awesome. Super helpful, took the time to answer all of our questions, and to make sure the bike was right for my daughter. We changed our mind about six times while we were there, and they were patient, understanding and helpful through the whole process. Never made us feel rushed. They wanted us to be 100% happy with our purchase. Thank you to the staff at Bruce's, we will definitely be back!

Took my wife's bike in to get the brakes fixed. They did it inexpensively (but not cheaply), and it was finished days quicker than what they quoted. Great value, and great service.

I was served today by David and I had an absolutely fantastic to experience. Not only did David patiently answer all of my questions and help me to find and pre-order a Dutch Omafiets-style bike, but he also helped me to figure out a solution to a problem I've been having with the connectivity of my smart trainer and heart rate monitor with Zwift. The problem, it turns out, is Bluetooth; so David recommended an ANT+ adapter to me which I purchased from him. I got it home, plugged it in and it solved my months of connectivity issues in less than 30-seconds; it used to take sometimes thirty-plus minutes of repeatedly disconnecting and reconnecting the heart rate monitor to get both the smart trainer and HR band to work with Zwift - but the ANT+ adapter just automatically connected both devices with literally no effort.

If you're looking to get in to cycling, or need a recommendation for a local bike shop, while I'd recommend just finding a bike shop you're comfortable with; I'd recommend Bruce's Cycle Works above all, because of just how wonderfully knowledgeable, kind and helpful they are.

Great service. Brought my bike in for repair. Love the detailed emailed est.of all possible repairs. Ended up costing less than est.and done sooner than est.

This morning I went into this shop to get a kick stand for my tandem bike and the young man I met was very pleasant and asked me to bring the bike in so that they can fit it with suitable stand.

I went home and brought the bike after an hour. The parking area being as awkward as it is, was almost full and I had to make do with the available space to park the truck to unload the bike but made sure I was not blocking the way. I got on to the back of the truck and it would have taken me a minute to unload and pull out the truck to park on the road. But a young fellow charged out of the stores and rudely asked me to park properly and unload because I was blocking. I told him that it would take me just a minute to unload and take the truck on to the road to park but quite rudely he insisted that I get off and park the vehicle properly and then unload. Instead he could have given me a hand to unload which would have cut the time to 30 seconds to unload. This person was not that smart to understand the concept of being helpful to paying customer. I decided I had enough and did not want to have anything to do with this store and drove to another cycle store who treated me as a paying customer!

Bruce Cycle Works seems like a good store. But they should invest in training their employees in customer service and to understand that it is the customers who pay their wages indirectly!

My first time in this business and it was a great experience! Very clean environment, following Covid guidelines, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Will definitely go back!

Just great service from Bruce’s. Last Monday, my rear cassette was loose and they fixed it on the spot no charge, today I had some issues with my rear shock. Fixed right way so I could ride tonight. Thanks guys!

Have been shopping at Bruce's for the better part of 13 years. The team there, led by Susan, Neil and Cory, excel at asking questions and listening to the answers to quickly hone in on the right gear to meet my needs.not more not less. No big pressure pitch. Their true passion is for cycling and they have always have wanted to make sure that I have had the time to consider my options before buying. This can mean being patient with my many questions! After purchase customer service is excellent (the bike is just the beginning!). So whether it was my kid's first bike or something to get me through winter commuting, their cost effective solutions have always worked for me!

Great service and staff, only place in the city that had a bike with the frame size I needed that fit in my budget.

Great bike shop! I bring my bike here for a tune up when the ride gets rough year after year. Very thorough and all the issues get fixed. Well worth it! Thanks to all the staff at Bruce's!

Went to buy a seat post asked for a 30mm and they gave me a 30.9mm even after "measuring" my old seat post, asked me for the brand of bike and immediately said "oh yeah its a 30.9mm" but I'm a machinist

Not a very positive experience trying to get work done on a bike here, even very simple fixes that don't require parts take 3 to 4 days and they won't even let you in the store, go to bike doctor or dougs they at least treat people good
