Budget Car Rental

Thanks for the free couple hour extension, to align with my return flight. Sadly the preparation cleaning crew didn't vacuum the pet hair and dander from the rear seats; luckily I wasn't allergic.

Booked a Standard/Intermediate car to pickup from Saskatoon airport. Suggesting getting a Chevrolet Cruze or similar vehicle. Got given a Nissan Versa SV which was strangely is a "Compact" size based on the budget website and not the size I officially booked.

Unfortunately the person preparing the vehicle, since last rental, failed to notice the low tire pressure warning on all tires. Also did poor job cleaning outside.side mirrors were dirty.went back to front desk and only option was a pickup truck (no thanks) or a Kia Rio. Fortunately it was just me travelling this time (and not my family along as well) so I could make do with a Rio. I would think the Rio (based on # of bags, etc.) would be Economy size.

Person offered I could come back next day to exchange for another vehicle but I was heading out on a 6 hour drive to my destination so that offer wasn't an option.

Still I had to pay the same price for a smaller vehicle than I booked.best compensation I was offered was a $25 coupon to use within a year towards next rental.

The Rio also wasn't properly cleaned.had to clean the side mirrors before getting on the highway given how dirty they were.also they should, at the counter, advise customers about the photo radar in the area enforcing speed limits.don't wait until a "thank you / info" type email is sent hours later.

Terrible customer service. Left standed at the airport because desk agent would not wait 10 minutes for me to de board the plane. Would not recommend budget rental agency at YXE airport. Use someone else for better service. Only giving one star because there was no option to select zero.

We had a great experience while in Saskatoon, our family rented vehicles from the airport branch on three occasions within a sixty day period. Shivani took excellent care of us and we will rent from Budget again. Thank you!

The worst car rental, they cancel my reservation with out telling me and once I came at their office

Rental truck was in good shape, but the interior of the truck was very dirty (lines of dirt all over the back seats).

Specifically the Budget on 45 st where the drop off and restructuring of a claim need was swift and refreshing. Amy was fantastic with her energy right of the bat and was very apologetic about the issues I had with the YXE budget desk. She is an excellent front of house staff that made the process tremendously smooth.

Given an excellent car with great gas mileage. Super friendly customer service at pick up and drop off.

Made a reservation for a car well before my trip to Saskatchewan. Arrived at the desk and was told that a $750 security deposit was required when online and in my recent email, it said $500 security deposit. I was asked if a Toyota Corolla would be ok. Presuming that it would be an average size car, I was disappointed to see a car the size of a sprint or rio was what I got for $100/day when imho rental rate for this size car is worth maybe $40/day. I am not able to go back to the location I rented from until I leave on Saturday but I will not be a returning customer. Very disappointing experience

I like to thank to thank Shivani and Wendy for being pleasant and efficient. Service with a smile despite being busy and having to deal with the day to day challenges of the job. I recommend dealing with them when you are in need of a car rental

Booked a standard car through Costco travel for $622 for 5 days. The camry looked a bit small so we upgraded to an intermediate SUV. I was in a rush so I didn't think much about the additional cost. It ended up costing $35 extra per day plus taxes and fees. I ended up paying $845. I wish I had booked directly through Costco for the intermediate SUV as it would only have cost $723. Customer service was good but I feel they charged me too much. Shivani was very sympathetic and helpful but I just can't believe how expensive this ended up being.

Started earlier than posted hours for me so I could get my rental. Upgraded at no charge. Excellent service.

I was in town helping my dad out after he suffered a stroke. My whole intention of renting a car was to get myself to the airport at 3 AM to make my 5 AM international flight. I reserved the car online, used my debit card, and voila! Or so I thought! Budget, you NEED to accept debit cards online AND in person! I handed him my DEBIT card to pay and he said he could only accept CREDIT cards to pick up! I thought I had already paid for the car! It accepted my DEBIT card online, why wouldn't it accept it here? ! He gave no explanation except to say it was company policy. Longer story, cut short, I had to call my uncle to come 'bail me out'! SO humiliating! When I got home, I went online and in the FAQs found that Budget only accepts DEBIT cards in US locations! WTHeck? !

My car was unavailable due to act of nature, the attendant Wendy offered me her car and I was on my way!

One of the rudest budget locations i have been to, the manager had no customer service skills and was extremely rude and kept harassing me to return my vehicle when my return date was not due till 3 weeks after

Exceptional customer service. I had an issue on my end with the reservation and Shivani helped me so much. Made my day! Thank you for being excellent!

Edit: On my agreement my rental is till April 1, Wendy again has been trying to call me and telling me I need to return it. It SAYS April 1 why is the manager Wendy trying to call me and harass me this is unacceptable please this needs to get sorted.

Budget/Avis needs to do a proper job looking after and maintaining the vehicles they have. I had about 5 exchanges! For vehicles because any vehicle this airport location gave me was the absolute worst it had problems everywhere. When I tried exchanging it, the manager there Wendy told me she cant and started being really rude towards me. Worst Budget in the City never go there and please get her to learn proper Costumer Service skills.

Horrific customer service from the manager.i forgot her name but she was a caucasian women think her name was wendy she was even treating her coworker with immense attitude for no reason

The rental vehicle had torn drivers side carpet, continual warnings and alerts for exterior sensors not working on the car and it had more than 78,000 km on the odometer. This is not what I expect from a rental company.
