Budget Car Rental

Recently rented a vehicle from Budget at their downtown Saskatoon location and the service and staff were very friendly. Hamza was very friendly, very knowledgable, and a delight to deal with. The service was next level in my opinion, which is refreshing to see. I would 100% recommend the downtown Saskatoon Budget location to anyone looking!

I rented a car from this place. The return of the deposit took longer than expected, and I was charged more than what was initially agreed upon. I wouldn't recommend!

We decided to lease a sedan vehicle. Initially, the car's fuel tank was kind of empty, requiring us to visit a gas station before commencing our journey. Throughout the trip, the car, particularly the wheel, exhibited consistent shaking when exceeding 80 km/h. Despite attempting to contact the rental company via phone and email, our efforts yielded no response. Upon returning the car, we highlighted the issue and were assured of a follow-up call, which never materialized. This rough ride was particularly distressing for the two elderly individuals who accompanied us, making for an unpleasant experience.

Great service and Bad financially experience. Great staff help and understanding Hamza and Sukaina. Very good car and service, however be careful when u buy a damage coverage extra service that it dose not include flat tire and i ended buying a new tire from my pocket.

BEST in Saskatoon for Car rental. Hamza and team are doing a perfect job. I got ditched by Enterprise car rental just hours before my pickup and i called budget rental and they were able to accommodate me into the perfect car as per my need and usage. Explained everything in detail. Very smooth pickup and drop off process.

Do not rent from budget.they will rip u off anyway they can with lies! They are pure scam and scum. My wife dropped off rental car and he said he was too busy to come out and check. An of course charged $120 in gas. We put gas in before we dropped off, to the same level when picked up. Go antwhere but here to rent!

The rental procedure is not welcoming, other rental companies like Enterprise offer much more smoother service. The credit card hold is way higher than other competitors with longer than usual hold period. Usually other companies release the credit card holds as soon as the after return inspections are done and the inspection is usually done on the day of return. I had to call the location to release the credit card hold after several days. Budget car rentals will not be my first choice for renting cars in the future. The car collection isn't as good as well.

A $750 hold remains on your card for up to a week after returning the vehicle. This is not necessary.
The location I dealt with needed to be cleaned and there was only one staff which left people waiting. I was left on hold well over 10 mins when I called on the phone as well.
The car itself was fine. Not impressed with this location.

Phoned for a quote with full insurance and when I arrived they jacked up the price for that insurance. Never again.

They have the worst service. Rented car with less gas, charged extra day without checking their inventory.
Had to call multiple times to make them understand for over charges. Worst rental service. Don't go this place.

The staff here were great to deal with despite the issues with the vehicle availability and cleanliness.

The Hyundai Kona chosen for me suited perfectly! I wish I could have kept it permanently. I will definitely rent from Budget again (this was the first time I have rented a vehicle), and I have already told some friends and family that this is a good place to rent vehicles from. I am promoting the pre-pay option, as it saved quite a bit. Thank you for making this a pleasant experience!

Is way to expensive to rent a small hatchback car $435.00 for 1 full week

Don’t rent cars there, go to Enterprice, with $200.00 you can rent same size or bigger car

I don’t recommend Budget if you are looking for a cheap car to rent
