Beautiful campground. Facilities were really nice. There was a lot to do here. I was blown away that there was a Bison field where they roamed around. I would come back again

So many things to do here! All sorts of activities for young and old alike from swimming to mini and disc golf. Check out the new Visitor and Interpretive Centre. Lots of local info on the Park, the people, along with the flora and fauna in the valley. And for the Mountain bike enthusiasts there are plenty of trails in the hills and track to practice your jumps.
Camping styles for everyone from big to small to tents. Many of the smaller Loops offer quiet, private, shady spaces to set up your camping home.

Close to Moose Jaw and reasonable distance from Regina.
Buffalo Pond Park has become a great destination for campers and day trippers.
New pool and picnic areas.
Nice beach and plenty of mature trees and large grassed areas are great foe cooling off on hot days.

Really great place for spending some time enjoying nature. The park is well maintained, thanks to all the staff who I know work really hard to take care of it. I like the way they have all the grill with barbeque setup. Restrooms are well maintained. I go here once a month to enjoy with my friends and family. Definitely worth it. I highly recommend this place.

The park is beautiful with lots of activities for all ages. We particularly enjoyed the Homestead Hike and the Bison Hike. The Guide, Melissa was fantastic, very knowledgeable, fun, answered all the kids questions and spoke to them easily. Her Enthusiasm for Bison was transparent, infectious and lovely to see. She was delighted that we got to get up close to the Bison, as were we. Melissa definitely made the hike a memorable experience. Definitely recommend

Very good place to relax on the beach or pool. There are trails for walking and camping for trailers. One minus.very weak internet connection (at least with Bell) Three times I went there and all three times Google GPS took me to the wrong place and we circled for a long time to find the right place:)

Beautiful park. Would have enjoyed it more if it wasn't for all the ticks! Picked off close to a dozen every time we were outside.

Place is good for refreshment. Can enjoy BBQ with friends, family and others. If you have tent (s) then you can stay here. We enjoyed sunsets from top of the Hill.

maps direction suck and the government signage is confusing and almost non existent. Google had us turning down dirt roads that were little more than goat paths and turning right onto 301 when we should have been staying left on 202. Took us an hour to find the park from the TransCanada because of goofy maps

Buffalo pound provincial park is a beautiful place located on Buffalo Pound lake. I visited here in the fall for hiking. The trails follow the lake bank that is hilly giving spectacular views of the lake. I highly recommend taking the trails in Nicolle flats nature reserve. You can see buffalo as you walk to the homestead.
