The young man working this evening went out of his way to save me another trip into the city. He allowed me to cancel an order and purchase off the shelf. I lost a discount but gained a day and saved a trip. This was much appreciated and will be remembered.

I've had mixed experiences - for example a couple years ago I wanted some of the raw honey and the machine was gummed up and 2 people went out of their way to fix the machine and ended up ladling out some honey. Since Covid they have to bag stuff for you and there was a teenaged boy there and he was very helpfull and patient.very patient, I was doing this home made stuffing at Thanksgiving and it required a dozen or more different spices in varrying quantities and didn't once seem annoyed with my massive list of stuff I couldn't pronounce. There have, however been a a few things that raised an eyebrow for me. Price wise, spices are usually a win but the fact that a bag of puffed rice there rang up at 16 dollars and you can buy a box of name brand rice krispies for less than half that.not happening. Also, if the staff are being asked to do the bagging, why did I see them turn around to a woman and say "you'll have to take that outisde" in regards to her tim hortons coffee cup like she was holding a rabbid raccoon? How about "I'm sorry but just so that you're aware, usually we can't have outside food or drinks in the store incase of spills and just for liability" and perhaps even go the extra mile with an "but since I'm bagging stuff for customers due to covid it's not an issue right now but when things get back to normal somebody might ask". I dunno, it seems like a lot of places (espeically since 2020) have adopted this attitude of 'oh, I can use the pandemic as an excuse to be rude and bark orders at people and be an obnoxious pratt and then if anybody says anything I'll just act like they weren't following the rules or my employer will blame my behavior on "these challenging times" or some other nonsense to avoid addressing the real issue which is not bothering to communicate respectfully. If anybody ever speaks to me in that tone I'll be "taking myself" outside, MONEY and all. So again, very mixed experiences. I get the feeling that the staff are treated poorly and some of them are better than others at not having it impact how they speak to clientelle.

Horrible management. The manager has alot of health issues and should NOT be a manager! Threatens you with a write up because 5 days prior you gave them notice about a funeral. She doesn't know how to do her job. Just sits in the back with the other supervisor. Lazy and critizes everyone's mistakes. Manager is loud rude to customers and does not care about your well being. Talked to regional manager too. If it wasn't for regional helping. Wouldnt of gotten an apology from manager. I don't work there nor will I ever. No BENIFETS EITHER! Do not shop at Yorkton Bulk Barn. I feel so bad for all the staff who can't stand up to these 2 ladies.

Very good store but when I was at the coconut oil I had found a maggot/worm and I showed the lady working there. She took the spoon cleaned it off and put it back in the container. I was very disgusted.

Horrible experience. Staff extremely rude. Prices are expensive. Act like they don't even want you in the store. And the management is rude. Never going back!

The store is clean and bright.
Definitely not my favorite Bulk Barn, but it is the closest.

The place to go for the hard to find items. Always enjoy stopping in here when visiting in Yorkton.
