It is a lovely restaurant at the heart of browdway and never disappointing when it comes to food. The brunch on weekends is nice and lively.

Service is good though it took over 40 min to get us the order which is unusual to this place.

Though popular with their dessert, I personally find it average.

I have been here a few times now most recently while in the area with some time to kill. Calories has a great atmosphere when I have been here it has always been peaceful and quiet enough that you can have a conversation with the people you are with. Most recently here I had peppermint hot chocolate and toffee cheesecake that I would definitely have again.

Had the steak frites. The steak and fries had awesome seasoning and the cook on the steak was perfect. The toffee cheesecake was great s always to finish it off!

We celebrated out 40th anniversary here in December. The chef provided an excellent brunch menu especially for our family group. The food was delicious as always and served very efficiently. Children were welcomed and accommodated.
We can’t say enough about the owners and their wonderful restaurant. Thank you so much.

Dinner was outstanding and wine was half off by the bottle the night we went. One of my fave locally owned and operated places. Oh and the desserts.also amazing.

It was my first visit in saskatoon, I had a cake from this place, it seemed overpriced at first. But after eating, it was totally worth it. No matter what, quality is not compromised.
I would totally recommend it.

Got the new lamb baguette - very good. Fries nice and crispy. Really excellent coffee. Got the chocolate celebration cake to go - it was very good. Maybe a tiny bit dry, but it did sit cut in a box in the fridge for a number of hours, so that might not be on them. Very cozy place, and lovely staff. I’ll be back regularly!

Best night ever! My friend and I stopped in spontaneously around 9 pm to get a take-out dessert and ended up staying for a meal, wine and a shared dessert, then had another shared dessert and yup, another glass of wine. The food was exquisite; huge kudo's to the chef and all the staff, but it was our server Parker who really made our experience. They were short-staffed due to illness and yet Parker was attentive, generous with his smile, exceedingly knowledgeable about the menu and, despite a hectic evening for him and his colleagues, was fully present for us. He was professional, engaged, kind and very welcoming, no small feat in the midst of a hectic evening. We were the last to leave! Kudos as well to the lovely young gal who found a table for us and seated us. Can't wait to come back.

One of the best choices in Saskatoon, Love their options, online and dine in, I think biggest selection of cakes for any taste. I would recommend!

Calories is my first recommendation whenever someone asks if I know a good place to eat. The food and desserts will draw a single tear to your eye. The service is always too knotch. Especially love Danielle and our last server whose name I didn’t get, but she has blue hair and cool tattoos. Thank you so much for always killing it and making us feel bougie!

Quaint local little place. The food is delicious and the pastries and desserts are delectable. One of our favorite spots in Saskatoon for sure!

Service was great! Had their Saskatoon Berry yogurt cheesecake which was incredible! Also had a speciality lemonade which was devine! This restaurant is a cute and cozy gem of Broadway.

Endless options for desserts! The flourless chocolate almond torte was absolutely delicious. But the service was terrible. We waited for long even there weren't many people dining. Order was taken and we waited again. Would not visit again just for the service.

Great place or trying new things, sometimes new things that were amazing end up being re.oved like the bread basket with cream cheese spread, the blended fresh juices with orange and banana from years ago and the sun-dried tomato bagel with cream cheese and the peach tea.those were my faves above the desserts.

A destination resto in Saskatoon for any visitor, who values a locally sourced creative menu. Plus, leave room for dessert, of course, no calories here ;)

I absolutely adore visiting Calories.

They're food isn't necessarily cheap, but the quality is amazing. Best grilled cheese you will ever eat.

An absolute highlight of your visit, or even to pick up to go MUST HAVE, is some cake. Personal favourite is the raspberry angel food cake.

The staff are always lovely, and the environment is generally a more subdued sophisticated thing going on. You wouldn't need to dress up, but you could.

Amazing cheesecake! Plus a great selection, the options are endless and the staff was knowledgeable about ingredients, only 10$ for a big slice, could be shared between two.

I had the Pan seared Lingcod, Paneer Cury and the baby beet sald. Everything was amazing and the London fog was also very yummy. I could eat this every day!

I already loved visiting the Calories restaurant, but recently hired them to cater my wedding. Let me tell you, they delivered above and beyond! The food was absolutely exceptional - everyone at the reception was raving about it the whole time. They did a high tea for the wedding party, a cocktail hour with appetizers, the dinner, and a late night lunch. Every single thing they served was PHENOMENAL. The customer service was incredible. If you need an event catered, look no further and just book this team! They are amazing and you won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait to keep supporting this local business with regular visits to the restaurant and they are hands-down my go-to caterers for any event I plan from here on out!

When I was in Saskatoon this place was one of my favourites, you can't find their dessert anywhere else in the city, their local food is so tasty, and the atmosphere is so pleasant.

Had been here before and while the food had been ok the service was poor however yesterday my 2 cousins had wanted to go for lunch and i had thought that maybe it had improved, it had not.i will say the staff was nice and there wasn't much of a wait, my cousins also enjoyed their shirley temples but that's about where the positives end.first, i had ordered a saskatoon berry lemonade which tasted nothing like the name and was little more than coloured tonic water.then there was the food, there were 3 of us and none of us particularly enjoyed our meals, maybe our first mistake was going somewhere that served so many eggs when 2/3 of us hate eggs, leaving us with very limited options.my one cousin got the kids plate and i have never seen such a strange assortment of food, it looked like something i would have made for my mom when i was child where she would have pretended to take a couple bites and then promptly thrown out.the bread was tough, the cookie was like a rock, the ham was stuffed with shredded carrots for some strange reason, there were loose dark chocolate chips, the least liked chocolate among kids; it all seemed like an attempt at an aesthetic charcuterie board that completely missed the mark on both taste and the target audience, it is to say my cousin didn't eat much and ended up needing to get something more somewhere else.then there was my other cousin who ordered eggs benedict where the eggs were good but the rest wasn't, the bread tasted gross and was hard, as well the potatoes were cut too big so they were cooked on the outside but raw on the inside.lastly i had ordered the seasonal pasta which tasted like almost nothing except the overwhelming amount of mushrooms (i hadn't realized it was possible to make the taste of mushroom that strong), usually pasta is a pretty safe choice when ordering food but i couldn't even finish because the flavour was so bad to me.we had originally planned to order dessert but we were so embarrassed at the idea of being unable to finish our food but buying dessert and scared that we may end up spending more on something that would end up being just as bad.i do apologize if our server sees this, she was very nice and polite however none of us could stomach the food, i am so sorry i do feel bad about how it may have looked when the 3 of barely ate any of our food.

My favourite place to go for brunch on Broadway - the cake, coffee, food, local beer on tap, their feature menus for special holidays, and the amazing staff are what makes the restaurant a staple in Saskatoon.

I live in Calgary. When I found myself looking to send a birthday cake to a client in Saskatoon, I asked a friend who used to live there who she would recommend. She immediately said, “That’s easy. Calories. ” I called them and organized the delivery. She wasn’t at the address I gave during the delivery window and so they called her and set a time and place for delivery the next day. The client was delighted with the cake. I will certainly look to Calories again in the future. Thanks for the great service and cake!

Delicious food and great service. My daughter and I enjoyed a lovely meal at Calories. We were glad we made a resevation- it worked out perfectly. Excellent locally-sourced food, nice drinks menu and dessert was definitely worth tasting!

Calories is an excellent choice for brunch. Their cappuccinos are very tasty, as are their brunch options. Its a cute date spot, and they have excellent staff. Would recommend

All over great experience! Delicious food and even better desserts. Seriously you need the toffee cheesecake in your life.

It had been a while since we went to Calories. Menu had not changed much. Desserts were as good as we remembered. One observation is about the QR code on the table for the menu. Both our Apple & Android cells had problem reading the light wood color QR. HIGHLY suggest that they paint the outline black. Would work much better.

Surprisingly had a great experience here last week. Staff attentive and happy to be there. Food was served hot and quickly. Server was friendly and actually loved her job. Nice menu with daily specials. We had 4 of the specials and 20 or so cocktails. Very good, keep it up.

Very friendly service and nice environment. Ordered the burger/soup combo which was absolutely delicious and very fresh tasting! Their selection of deserts was massive, went with the toffee cheesecake, could have eaten the whole pie of that! Would reccomend and will return!

One of my favorite places. French cuisine, art display and great desserts with plenty of wine to pair your meal with. What can be better? Nice cozy romantic atmosphere with a view on Broadway Ave and one of the best dessert restaurant in town. There is also outside sitting in summer.

Very busy place. Great deserts, especially of you like cheese cakes. You can walk in and order cheese cake to go. Either a piece, half or a full cake.

I had a two day event in early March and did the catering (coffee/tea, snacks and lunch both days) with Calories. I was really, really happy with them! The communication ahead of time was clear, the delivery was prompt and simple, the prices were very reasonable, and the food was absolutely delicious. They were also able to accommodate the folks in my group who had allergies or dietary restrictions, at no extra cost. Finally, this was a zero-waste event and they were totally cool with avoiding disposable dishware and putting the coffee cream in a cute little glass jug (instead of single serving creamers). Overall it was a great experience and I plan to use them again next time I have an event. Would recommend!

I loved this place so much! The decoration is so beautiful and cozy. The art is so good and the deserts welcoming you look so good and fresh. The service was awesome, and the food was very delicious! Everything fresh, local, with a home made feeling very awesome! I can say I had the best ketchup I ever tried in my life! The beer they had on tap was delicious and the cheesecake was just amazing! I can’t recommend more this place!

Stopped by for a quick breakfast and had the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon with a side of hashbrowns cooked in duck fat. In a word delicious. The cappuccino was great too.

The toffee cheesecake is always divine. Excellent service even for drinks and dessert, and the water refill an hour later because we were chatting and were still sitting there was very nice.

Came in around 1PM today, got seated, and placed our orders. Then over 1 hour had passed and we still hadn't gotten our food yet (we did get our drinks, however). Restaurant was not busy at this time, maybe 1/4 - 1/3 full. Service was not great, the waitress hardly came to check on us. There was no explanation as to why there was such a long wait. Unsure if this is normal at this time, but we should not have had to wait almost 90 min for a group of 3 to receive our food.
