I am a retired sask govt employee enrolled in the retirement benefits program.
The real consistent is the LACK of customer service and responses to inquiries.
When submitting a written
inquiry the response is ALWAYS like canned mail.
Followup us worse, as it seems none of the reps even read your inquiry and send out nonsensical replies. When the dedicated phone line was contacted, it stated that no reps were available try again later, 3xs I tried BUYER BEAWARE

Absolutely horrible. Yet another thing the federal govt completely messed up. Surprise surprise.

This is just terrible service. Ive been on hold waiting for the next available customer rep available to answer my call for more than 1hr and nothing until their closing time. Its hard to talk to someone especially when the information I need is not available anywhere on their website and online app.

It took 4 attempts each sitting for over an hour to have my calls answered. Twice it just said we have an error please try again after holding for 63 minutes. Total disregard for your client's time. The lady who eventually answered was extremely rude, unfriendly, very little knowledge.every answer was I don't know, I don't know. She barely let me speak and her tone was so condescending. I will be reporting all this to the 2 unions and letting them know how aweful Canada life is to deal with. Very unhappy! Do better Canada life!

I am trying to access my work benefits and it is a pain. I entered my info and it was unable to verify. I called them they told me to try Zach instead of Zachary. And even told to change the spelling of my last name by using t’s instead of the f’s. That didn’t work. The advise given did not help my situation.

Their software intentionally puts most claims on "Under Review" and then no notes on what to do for weeks on end.forcing you to call them, when you do eventually call them, they will put you on hold for over 2 hours hoping you give up or the call drops saying there's a "technical difficulty". This is why no one wants to direct bill with them. No call back options and processes took over 2 months, simple dental procedure process and Vision Frame process. I'm speaking with our HR to move to different providers and every other employee should do the same. This company deserves to go Bankrupt.
