This store has new owners and their first order of business was to remove price matching. This store, as long as I remember, has always done so.
Went up to the till with a Breville Toaster, model BTA730XL, and their price is $159.99. Amazon has the same model of toaster for $124.98. That's a difference of $35.01! I was abruptly told that the new owners removed price matching as soon as they took over.
Unfortunately, for me, this is a deal breaker. I will not be shopping at this store again. I will, instead, wait the extra day or two and order if from Amazon or find another local retailer that is willing to go a little extra to ensure the customer is getting the best deal possible!

The staff are amazing and the manager is the best.
There is now security in store to help with current issues.
There are some stock issues but it does look like restocking is in progress.

I ordered the best set of brand new tires and rims for winter, and had a friend go pick them up because I was out of town. My friend was given the wrong tires (cheaper tires) and used/rusty rims, even after showing photo proof of the order confirmation number on it. I called right away and spoke to a staff member who explained the truth of the situation, and I thanked her for being honest and tried to get hold of my friend right away that morning to return the tires.

Then, 20 minutes later I get a call from Tammy, the auto manager. Instead of apologizing, she said "YOU picked up the wrong tires". And then she has the audacity to tell me I "didn't pay for the tires to be on the rims, and I was given tires on rims", basically suggesting I was "getting away with something" for leaving with cheaper tires and rusted old rims. LOL.

I also received a voicemail where again, she reminded me I "didn't pay for the tires to be on rims" and that the tires "had to be returned today". No apology or explanation.

I told her I would get hold of my friend and have them delivered as soon as I could. In return, I'd like to cancel the order on my tires. She then held my tires hostage until the other tires were returned, which is fair enough I guess. My friend drove back into town and delivered them back the same day, and I called later and Tammy had LEFT WORK without refunding my tires. She waited until the next day. I went out of my way to do her a favour after THEIR mistake not mine, but she just leaves work without holding up her end of the bargain, or leaving any instruction for the staff.

IN ADDITION TO THAT, I don't think anyone called the guy whose tires we had been given, because that guy happened to show up at the same time as us, had driven all the way from Saskatoon, and was NOT HAPPY about wasting an entire day driving. They told him they did NOT have time to do his tires that day. Should it not have been a priority? Should they not have called him as soon as they realized his tires were gone, to save him the trip to the store?

Here's the deal.things happen. I'm not mad about being given the wrong tires. I'm mad about the way it was dealt with, passing blame on me. And not to mention there was absolutely no compensation for my additional time. I would imagine I should at least been offered a discount on tire installation. OR AN APOLOGY. It seems to me like the manager could learn a lesson in kindness and customer service from her own staff.

Absolutely, 110% would never go back.

I usually enjoy shopping here, but twice my credit card information was stolen after shopping here. This was the only store we used the credit card, so we are very certain. The other day we did a review for this store and received an email for a Dewalt drill deal for doing the review and it turned out to be a scam. DO Not use your credit card here or do reviews for the items you buy.

Clean well stocked store with great sales and weekly flyers. Unfortunately the staff in PA lately, are clueless and have a don't care attitude. Perhaps due to new ownership? Malcolm will be missed.

Needed to buy 2 garage door openers. I was immediately asked by A staff member if I needed help. He took me where I needed to go, was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products. Even opened the box to check the manual to see if there were any additional parts I needed for the installation and then helped me find those parts. Only one unit was on the floor and he had the warehouse bring down another and put everything in a cart for me. And asked if I needed help getting them out to my vehicle. It was a very satisfying buying experience!

Our Canadian Tire outlet is always well lit, easy to navigate and kept clean. The staff has always been knowledgeable and friendly to us. Merchandise is usually a good value for the prices offered and if not satisfied a return is quite easy.

The 1 guy @ auto repair desk LQQKED & seamed Grumpy he needs 2 work on that. Guy that Checked Filled air in my Tires & tork Tightened all tthe Bolts 4 FREE seamed Nice & Was help full & even told me what the tire pressures were & what he changed them 2, also I was Tickled pink that he used the same kind of battery powered tires gauge as I have & I even Showed Him Mine.

Generally have stock of things I would expect they would carry.
I like using the triangle card and the rewards add up quick enough to be worth the effort.
I have had no real issue with returns when things were missing pieces or not working as intended.

Terrible service. I was told to come early for my 8am appointment and they weren't even open. Waited almost 2 hours for them to even touch my vehicle. Ridiculous prices for simple installation of a battery. I will not be coming back.

The product was easy to find, it was the advertised price and the person at the till, was very friendly and courteous. A great shopping experience.

Good selection but very strict return policy. No receipt no return. A lot of other retailers are a lot more flexible. Too bad.

Floor Staff where freindly until I had to do an exchange for an item put in the wrong bin.refused to accept my PAL as ID and stated corporate policy requires drivers license (looked it up and only states photo ID and a PAL is legal ID) supervisor on shift was very rude with the issue and unaware of corporate policy also talked down towards me.

Worst customer service experience with Darrold. Extremely rude, no knowledge of Autoparts. Asking me about why the issue is coming up. If i would knew why would I show up at Canadian Tire for help. Charged me around $900 for inspection block heater and all, vehicle stayed for 2 days coz they ordered wrong parts and still getting issues with it. Also, still asking more money to get the problem fixed which they caused.

Needed some odds and ends for some of my summer projects. They had stock when I needed it.

Love this Canadian Tire! Have stopped there numerous times in Prince Albert and always have great service. Love how the owner gives back to P. A

Went in-store to find a product they said online was in stock in-store and couldn't find it but was able to order it to the store with in the next couple days.

RE: the order was cancelled due to product not being available. It was late notice and I wasn't able to get my product untill after I intended on using it.

I am a little bit dissatisfied with the accuracy of availability on the website.

Great when you can catch a sale! Usually have some difficulty finding help from staff. Haven't had a good experience with the mechanics and I now prefer to go elsewhere for my vehicle needs.

Everything you could possibly need seasonally, best customer help there is at any store. Find a person in a red shirt, you'll get helped within minutes of your request.

Had what I was looking for in the fishing isle.
Had a good chat with the employee, clean environment.

Perfect service. Very knowledgable and friendly. They got done more than i had asked for and cheaper than two years ago!

Your customer service department is highly lacking and your employees must be too busy drinking coffee in the back room. The only place i can find service is at the till. Every time i come here i have to wait a minimum of 20 minutes before someone asks me if i need help. Hilarious.

One of the best Canadian Tire stores I’ve been in. I live in BC and the store there is great too, but the staff at this one were super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Shop Canadian!

As I always say: Canadian tire is heaven for many because we can find anything we need. This particular store is really good, is better than any in Saskatoon because is organized, the workers are very helpful and is also very clean. I love to go here when I´m in PA, I hope they keep the good work.

Any of the staff I have ever asked about anything in that store has no idea at all. The bathrooms are horrendous. Absolutrly disgusting.

Good experience. I needed to buy a bunch of PEX plumbing bits, hole saw and crimping tool. Staff was available, helpful, knowledgeable and also knew the in store stock.

They had the paint I needed to finish my project. It happened to be possibly the most expensive spray paint but i believe that you get what you pay for thanks. Probably the best selection in town.

Auto service is just not serving great. They've rookies and start doing shoddy work without checking if all replacement parts or tools are available. Truly unprofessional. They cut my vehicle belt without even checking if the replacement on hand is the right part.

Nice to have the store in Melfort but it definitely could be bigger, things are very cramped and little to no space to walk the aisles. Also are often out of stock in items especially if on sale. Mark's is in the back of the store and is a great place to get decent active/work wear.
