Canalta Hotel Humboldt

Great staff, clean rooms and wonderful breakfasts.
(Just need to know where they purchase their pillows - they were awesome!)

Canalta builds and operates excellent hotels. Always great hospitality and friendly staff.

Very nice stay. Staff was super pleasant, pool was a lot of fun. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was really good for a hotel. Coffee is better than most coffee shops. Very clean. We will definitely stay here again. Tim Hortons and Boston pizza were next door, which was nice with kids. We had a very good stay.

Great place to stay. Hot breakfast is available, along with cold. Coffee is always on. Beds are comfy, with amenities found in bathroom in case you forget.

Great hotel good breakfast, comfortable bed and hot shower. Located on a busy road away from the downtown area which might be a plus for some travellers.

I commend the breakfast manager for making the decision to NOT have a throw-away customer use. All the cutlery and dishes were put into a dishwasher or hand washed.
The breakfast staff was very friendly and happy to do her job.

Service was good, beds and pillows were quite comfortable. Pool was warm, water slide was awesome. I will be staying here again.

Very nice hotel, quiet and clean, modern, no complaints. Great access to nearby stores and food.

Our daughter forgot her wallet in the room. We had already driven to Melfort for a softball game when the front desk called to inform me. The employee (Jaylin) offered to bring it with her after her shift to Melfort as she was going that direction. It didn’t work out time wise for us to do that, but the offer alone was going above and beyond. The hotel is clean and comfortable! Would stay here anytime!

So glad I checked in at CanAlta Hotel Humboldt. Carolyn who checked me in was fantastic. Friendly and happy. She got me the perfect room. Also noticed when she wasn’t busy she was mopping the floors around and in the elevator. Quite and very roomy. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and pillows were nice. Had a very good sleep. There’s a pool and hot tub. Fireplace in the breakfast area. And to top it off a free breakfast. Fresh omelettes, which was so good. Along with sausage patty’s, hash browns. Fresh made regular waffles or blueberry waffles. Add strawberries and whipped cream on the side.cereal is another option. The lady that was making the omelettes was either making them or preparing other items. Then cleaning. Outside noticed someone picking up garbage around the hotel. Hotel deserves more than 5 stars. If ever in area this will be the first stop.

Best breakfast of any hotel I've stayed at - lots of choices and different hot food each day, clean hotel and rooms, pool is a warm temperature.

Great experience. Nice rooms, Comfy beds. Organized, friendly, helpful, staff. Breakfast awesome. Finally some good gluten free options for the 30% of us folks with that issue. Thank you, Thank you. Hopefully other hotels will follow your lead. Would surely stay here again. (Also got a little break on the price due to trip for medical reasons. Thanks.)

The Canalta hotel exceeded our expectations! The staff were kind and professional and the rooms impeccably clean. We attended a knitting retreat and the meeting room was stocked with tea and coffee and amenities. Lovely service!

The staff in Rocky Mountain House were really wonderful. They were friendly and helpful. They even made our kids' stuffies' bed, which delighted us all.

Second time staying here in a month. It was super busy all weekend and the staff were on top of it.

Nice clean rooms, pleasant staff, supplied breakfast was good - fairly standard. Location to rink is perfect.

Beds are a dream! The rooms are huge. Breakfast is amazing, hot and a large variety. The staff aren’t the friendliest but they did open the hot tub for us after 10pm so we could soak after a long day of snowmobiling

Excellent location. Room was nice and clean. Beds werent the most comfortable but the pillows were excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff. ‘Continental’ breakfast was more than we expected with many options for everyone. The pool was decent. We would definitely stay again.

Staff was excellent! Very kind and friendly, felt just right at home haha! Rooms are clean and tidy, no issues.

Location stars took a hit because I was working over an hour away, but nice, clean, modern room.
