Canalta Hotel Martensville

Needed a place to stay that was close to Rosthern, SK. Room was great. Service was very friendly. They have a very good free breakfast with toast, cereal, waffles, eggs and sausages. I was disappointed that the hot tub wasn't working. My kids loved the pool and waterslide but the water was a bit cloudy. Overall, we were happy with our 2 night stay.

Hotel was fancy, rooms where very clean and beds comfy. Breakfast lady was super nice. Also nice pool and hot tub for family’s.

This is a shout out to the Canalta. Although we did not stay in their hotel. They were able to donate ice to our fundraiser. We thank them very much for coming through for us, 5 stars for us

Hotels need to extend the pool and hot tub hours untell at least 11pm for adults 10pm is just to early.

It add to the experience for couples and gives them a extra reason to enjoy hotels.

So my last stay here was in the fall. I have stayed here for years and have always been able to ship a box or 2 with purolator each day from this location as that is my work requirement. During this last stay I was told by a very rude maintenace staff member that this was no longer acceptable as "they are not a shipping depot". I left my number and asked for contact from a manager just to see if there was some kind of solution we could come to, but never received any correspondence regarding the situation. Was forced to move to anither Hotel and stay in Warmen for the next 2 weeks. As someone who is a top tier Canalta member who works for Telus and spends Months at Canalta all over western Canada, I have never had this issue and it was extremely disappointing. If planning to stay here for work I would possibly look elsewhere.

Friendly staff, nice design, good food. Staff are friendly, the continental breakfast are yummy. Kids also enjoyed the swimming pool. Would be nice to have a slide but it will do. I love it and sure will go again.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel was very nice, quiet and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

No complimentary bottled water. Had to go down and pay for it. False advertising on room rates. Paid more than what was listed.

Good pool with kiddie area. Breakfast was good with a decent selection: scrambled eggs, sausage, french toast sticks. Easy access to highway to zip back into Saskatoon or SaskTel Centre. Friendly staff.

We were very disappointed when we arrived and after reserving a family suite we got a 2bed room. The explanation was unclear and felt that the famy room was overboked by mistake. We were 3 adults and 2 kids sleeping in 2 beds, super uncomfortable.

I attended a Celebration of Life held at the Martensville Canalta hotel in Saskatchewan on May 12th, so coming from BC, I chose this hotel to stay in.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. I also visited my grandchildren while I was there and the manager (a lovely young lady whose name I unfortunately did not get), allowed them to come have a swim with me in the pool as it wasn't very busy at that time of the week/day.

The included breakfast was awesome and coffee and tea were freely available at any time.

Highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Very convenient place to stay when attending a concert in Saskatoon. We will be back!

We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious room and the layout. We appreciated that the beds were separated by the sitting area and partial walls.

Stay and wedding was absolutely wonderful. Clean modern rooms with excellent buffet breakfast. Sitting area with fireplace very nice. Didn’t use the pool or hot tub but looked wonderful. Within walking distance to restaurants.

Great place very modern, very clean, modern could use s bigger parking lot, continental breakfast was shut down at 10: 20 both mornings I was there not impressed, looking for a coupon, for next visit, no towels, in the pool.

Could you get French vanilla creamer for the coffee and have coffee and the creamers available throughout the day. I find a lot of hotels have cookies and coffee throughout the day and it makes it so much better! These extra make the hotel more recommendable. But breakfast was excellent.

Good experience once we were there. It was very difficult to book a room with points. The one lady over the phone didn't know how the point system works. Tried booking 4 times using points and then finally got through.

Room was great, but the pool Steam Room was not working. That was disappointing.

Room and bathroom very clean. Beds comfortable. Temperature good. Desk staff and breakfast staff helpful and friendly. Lovely breakfast.
We weren’t there long enough to utilize any of the other amenities.

The staff were friendly, compassionate, and accommodating. While traveling, from Alberta, to see family Christmas Eve, the weather and roads were horrible. To make things worse the wee hours of the morning Dec 25th, 2022, at 1 o'clock in the morning, during one the worst storms in Saskatchewan, I hit a pike of snow on the warman overpass and found my car being pulled sideways and then the truck that was behind me struck my car leaving me and 2 small dogs in a totalled car. The rcmp was kind enough to give me a lift to the hotel. I had called around to see who would be able to accommodate myself and 2 small dogs. I got to the hotel about 3am and the young man at the desk got me set up in a room, he had wave the pet fee. In the morning when the shift changed the gentleman at the desk said I was welcome to stay until my family could pick me up at the hotel. I was very grateful for the kindness and hospitality. It was one worry off my mind not to be forced out with no where to go and family an hourvand a half away. Thanks again
